Through the use of generalized Riccati transformation techniques, we establish some oscillation criteria for one type of nonlinear dynamic equation on time scales. Several examples, including a semilinear dynamic equation and a nonlinear Emden-Fowler dynamic equation, are also given to illustrate these criteria and to improve the results obtained in some references.  相似文献

This paper studies the existence of nontrivial solution to a nonlinear fourthorder three-point boundary value problem, where the nonlinear term is a strong Carathodory function and contains all order derivatives of unknown function. Riccati equation approach is used to look for exact travelling wave solutions of some nonlinear physical models.Solitary wave solutions are established for the modified KdV equation,the Boussinesq equation and the Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation.New generalized solitary wave solutions with some free parameters are derived.The obtained solutions,which includes some previously known solitary wave solutions and some new ones,are expressed by a composition of Riccati differential equation solutions followed by a polynomial.The employed approach,which is straightforward and concise,is expected to be further employed in obtaining new solitary wave solutions for nonlinear physical problems.  相似文献

This paper deals with a reaction-diffusion system with nonlinear absorption terms and boundary flux. As results of interactions among the six nonlinear terms in the system, some sufficient conditions on global existence and finite time blow-up of the solutions are described via all the six nonlinear exponents appearing in the six nonlinear terms. In addition, we also show the influence of the coefficients of the absorption terms as well as the geometry of the domain to the global existence and finite time blow-up of the solutions for some cases. In this paper, we consider a system of coupled quasilinear viscoelastic equations with nonlinear damping. We use the perturbed energy method to show the general decay rate estimates of energy of solutions, which extends some existing results concerning a general decay for a single equation to the case of system, and a nonlinear system of viscoelastic wave equations to a quasilinear system.  相似文献
