In this paper, we prove rigidity results on gradient shrinking or steady Ricci solitons with weakly harmonic Weyl curvature tensors. Let be a compact gradient shrinking Ricci soliton satisfying with constant. We show that if satisfies , then is Einstein. Here denotes the Weyl curvature tensor. In the case of noncompact, if M is complete and satisfies the same condition, then M is rigid in the sense that M is given by a quotient of product of an Einstein manifold with Euclidean space. These are generalizations of the previous known results in 10 , 14 and 19 . Finally, we prove that if is a complete noncompact gradient steady Ricci soliton satisfying , and if the scalar curvature attains its maximum at some point in the interior of M, then either is flat or isometric to a Bryant Ricci soliton. The final result can be considered as a generalization of main result in 3 .  相似文献

A result showed by M. Gursky in 4 ensures that any metric g on the 4‐dimensional sphere satisfying and is isometric to the round metric. In this note, we prove that there exists a universal number i 0 such that any metric g on the 4‐dimensional sphere satisfying and is isometric to the round metric. Moreover, there exists a universal such that any metric g on the 4‐dimensional sphere with nonnegative sectional curvature, and is isometric to the round metric. Let M be a complete non‐compact Riemannian manifold satisfying the volume doubling property. Let be the Hodge–de Rham Laplacian acting on 1‐differential forms. According to the Bochner formula, where and are respectively the positive and negative part of the Ricci curvature and ? is the Levi–Civita connection. We study the boundedness of the Riesz transform from to and of the Riesz transform from to . We prove that, if the heat kernel on functions satisfies a Gaussian upper bound and if the negative part of the Ricci curvature is ε‐sub‐critical for some , then is bounded from to and is bounded from to for where depends on ε and on a constant appearing in the volume doubling property. A duality argument gives the boundedness of the Riesz transform from to for where Δ is the non‐negative Laplace–Beltrami operator. We also give a condition on to be ε‐sub‐critical under both analytic and geometric assumptions.  相似文献

In this paper, first we introduce a new notion of pseudo anti commuting Ricci tensor for real hypersurfaces in complex hyperbolic two‐plane Grassmannians and prove a complete classification theorem that such a hypersurface must be a tube over a totally real totally geodesic , , a horosphere whose center at the infinity is singular or an exceptional case.  相似文献

The article deals with the class consisting of non‐vanishing functions f that are analytic and univalent in such that the complement is a convex set, and the angle at ∞ is less than or equal to for some . Related to this class is the class of concave univalent mappings in , but this differs from with the standard normalization A number of properties of these classes are discussed which includes an easy proof of the coefficient conjecture for settled by Avkhadiev et al. 3 . The analogue of ‐submanifolds in (almost) Kählerian manifolds is the concept of contact ‐submanifolds in Sasakian manifolds. These are submanifolds for which the structure vector field ξ is tangent to the submanifold and for which the tangent bundle of M can be decomposed as , where is invariant with respect to the endomorphism φ and is antiinvariant with respect to φ. The lowest possible dimension for M in which this decomposition is non trivial is the dimension 4. In this paper we obtain a complete classification of four‐dimensional contact ‐submanifolds in and for which the second fundamental form restricted to and vanishes identically.  相似文献

We give necessary and sufficient conditions of the existence of a left‐invariant metric of strictly negative Ricci curvature on a solvable Lie group the nilradical of whose Lie algebra is a filiform Lie algebra . It turns out that such a metric always exists, except for in the two cases, when is one of the algebras of rank two, or , and is a one‐dimensional extension of , in which cases the conditions are given in terms of certain linear inequalities for the eigenvalues of the extension derivation.  相似文献

In this article, we study submanifolds in a pseudo‐sphere with 2‐type pseudo‐spherical Gauss map. We give a characterization theorem for Lorentzian surfaces in the pseudo‐sphere with zero mean curvature vector in and 2‐type pseudo‐spherical Gauss map. We also prove that non‐totally umbilical proper pseudo‐Riemannian hypersurfaces in a pseudo‐sphere with non‐zero constant mean curvature has 2‐type pseudo‐spherical Gauss map if and only if it has constant scalar curvature. Then, for we obtain the classification of surfaces in with 2‐type pseudo‐spherical Gauss map. Finally, we give an example of surface with null 2‐type pseudo‐spherical Gauss map which does not appear in Riemannian case, and we give a characterization theorem for Lorentzian surfaces in with null 2‐type pseudo‐spherical Gauss map.  相似文献

This paper deals with the study on ‐quasi Einstein manifolds. First, we give some characterizations of an ‐quasi Einstein manifold admitting closed conformal or parallel vector field. Then, we obtain some rigidity conditions for this class of manifolds. We prove that an ‐quasi Einstein manifold with a closed conformal vector field has a warped product structure of the form , where I is a real interval, is an ‐dimensional Riemannian manifold and q is a smooth function on I . Finally, a non‐trivial example of an ‐quasi Einstein manifold verifying our results in terms of the potential function is presented.  相似文献

We study the effect of the operator on the existence and nonexistence of positive solutions of the nonlocal Brezis–Nirenberg problem where denotes the fractional power of with zero Dirichlet boundary values on , , and λ is a real parameter. By assuming for all and near some point , we prove existence theorems for any , where denotes the first Dirichlet eigenvalue of . Given non‐negative measurable functions on we study the high dimensional Hardy operator between Orlicz–Lorentz spaces , where f is a measurable function of and is the ball of radius t in . We give sufficient conditions of boundedness of and . We investigate also boundedness and compactness of between weighted and classical Lorentz spaces. The function spaces considered here do not need to be Banach spaces. In this paper, we study hypersurfaces of the homogeneous nearly Kähler manifold with typical properties. We first show that in the NK there exist neither totally umbilical hypersurfaces nor hypersurfaces of parallel second fundamental form. Then we investigate hypersurfaces of such that its shape operator A and induced almost contact structure ϕ satisfy the condition , and as the main result, a complete classification of this remarkable family of hypersurfaces in is presented.  相似文献

This paper deals with the Keller–Segel system where Ω is a bounded domain in with smooth boundary , ; χ is a nonnegative function satisfying for some and . In the case that and , Fujie 2 established global existence of bounded solutions under the condition . On the other hand, when , Winkler 14 asserted global existence of bounded solutions for arbitrary . However, there is a gap in the proof. Recently, Fujie tried modifying the proof; nevertheless it also has a gap. It seems to be difficult to show global existence of bounded solutions for arbitrary . Moreover, the condition for K when cannot connect with the condition when .
