SINGULAR PERTURBATION OF THREE-POINT BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM FOR THIRD ORDER DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS

In this paper, by the theory of differential inequalities, we study the existence and uniqueness of the solution to the three-point boundary value problem for third order differential equations. Furthermore we study the singular perturbation of three-point boundary value problem to third order quasilinear differential equations, construct the higher order asymptotic solution and get the error estimate of asymptotic solution and perturbed solution.     

ON THE EXISTENCE AND UNIQUENESS OF SOLUTIONS FOR 2nTH-ORDER BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEMS

In this paper, by using the Leray-Schauder continuation theorem, we establish the existence and uniqueness theorems of solutions of two-point boundary value problems for 2nth-order nonlinear differential equations with nonlinear growth.

In this paper, the cone theory and MSnch fixed point theorem combined with the monotone iterative technique are used to investigate the positive solutions for a class of systems of nonlinear singular differential equations with multi-point boundary value conditions on the half line in a Banach space. The conditions for the existence of positive solutions are formulated. In addition, an explicit iterative approximation of the solution is also derived.     

NONLINEAR BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEMS FOR FIRST ORDER DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS WITH PIECEWISE CONSTANT ARGUMENTS

The authors employ the method of upper and lower solutions coupled with the monotone iterative technique to obtain some results of existence and un-iqueness for nonlinear boundary value problem of differential equations with piecewise constant arguments.     

Solutions to Boundary Value Problem of Nonlinear Impulsive Differential Equation of Fractional Order

This paper is devoted to study the existence and uniqueness of solutions to a boundary value problem of nonlinear fractional differential equation with impulsive effects.The arguments are based upon Schauder and Banach fixed-point theorems. We improve and generalize the results presented in[B.Ahmad,S.Sivasundaram, Existence results for nonlinear impulsive hybrid boundary value problems involving fractional differential equations,Nonlinear Analysis：Hybrid Systems,3（2009）,251- 258].

This paper deals with the existence of three positive solutions for a class of nonlinear singular three-point boundary value problem with p-Laplacian. By means of a fixed point theorem duo to Leggett and Williams, sufficient condition for the existence of at least three positive solutions to the nonlinear singular three-point boundary value problem is established     

THE UNCONDITIONAL CONVERGENT DIFFERENCE METHODS WITH INTRINSIC PARALLELISM FOR QUASILINEAR PARABOLIC SYSTEMS WITH TWO DIMENSIONS

In the present work we are going to solve the boundary value problem for the quasilinear parabolic systems of partial differential equations with two space dimensions by the finite difference method with intrinsic parallelism.Some fundamental behaviors of general finite difference schemes with intrinsic parallelism for the mentioned problems are studied.By the method of a priori estimation of the discrete solutions of the nonlinear difference systems,and the interpolation formulas of the various norms of the discrete functions and the fixed-point technique in finite dimensional Euclidean space,the existennce of the discrete vector solutions of the nonliear difference system with intrinsic parallelism are proved .Moreover the convergence of the discrete vector solutions of these difference schemes to the unique generalizd solution of the original quasilinear parabolic problem is proved.     

MULTIPLE LAYER BEHAVIOR OF BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM FOR SINGULARLY PERTURBED n-TH ORDER NONLINEAR DIFFERENTIAL EQUATION

In this paper,we study the singular perturbation of boundary value problem for a class of n-th order nonlinear differential equation,the solution is shown to exhibit multiple layer behavior.According to different layers and by introducing extended variable,we obtain the uniformly effective asymptotic expansion with different boundary layer correction term.     

A CLASS OF NONLINEAR SINGULARLY PERTURBED INITIAL BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEMS FOR REACTION DIFFUSION EQUATIONS WITH BOUNDARY PERTURBATION

A class of nonlinear initial boundary value problems for reaction diffusion equations with boundary perturbation is considered. Under suitable conditions and using the theory of differential inequalities the asymptotic solution of the initial boundary value problems is studied.     

EXISTENCE OF EXTREME SOLUTION TO FIRST-ORDER IMPULSIVE DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS WITH NONLINEAR BOUNDARY CONDITIONS

This paper is concerned with the existence of extreme solutions to three-point boundary value problems with nonlinear boundary conditions for a class of first order impulsive differential equations. We obtain suficient conditions for the existence of extreme solutions by the upper and lower solutions method coupled with a monotone iterative technique.

On existence and multiplicity of positive solutions to periodic boundary value problems for singular nonlinear second order differential equations

The existence and multiplicity of positive solutions are established to periodic boundary value problems for singular nonlinear second order ordinary differential equations. The arguments are based only upon the positivity of the Green's functions and the Krasnosel'skii fixed point theorem. As an example, a periodic boundary value problem is also considered which comes from the theory of nonlinear elasticity.     

Nonlinear nonlocal problems for second-order differential equations singular with respect to the phase variable

For second-order differential equations singular with respect to the phase variable, we obtain in a sense optimal criteria for the existence and uniqueness of positive solutions of nonlinear nonlocal boundary value problems.

By using fixed point theorem of cone expansion and compression, this paper investigates the existence of multiple positive solutions for singular boundary value problems of a coupled system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations.     

A note on the use of modified Adomian decomposition method for solving singular boundary value problems of higher-order ordinary differential equations

This paper extend the work [Yahya Qaid Hasan, Liu Ming Zhu. Solving singular boundary value problems of higher-order ordinary differential equations by modified Adomian decomposition method. Commun Nonlinear Sci Numer Simul. doi :10.1016/j.cnsns.2008.09.027] to high order of singular boundary value problems. Solution of these problems is considered by proposed modification of Adomian decomposition method. The proposed method can be applied to linear and nonlinear problems. Some examples are presented to show the ability of the method for linear and non-linear ordinary differential equation.

本文利用Ｂｏｌｚａｎｏ定理，给出了四阶非线性常微微分方程具有非线性边界条件的两点边值问题（１）（２）２，（１）（２）３存在解与存在唯一解的一般性结果，并将所得结果应用于Ｌｉｐｓｃｈｉｚ方程，对Ｌｉｐｓｃｈｉｔｚ方程满足边界条件（２）２，（２）３的边值问题给出了存在解与存在唯一解的具体的充分条件。     

Defining systems and Newton-like methods for finding singular solutions to nonlinear boundary value problems

A technique proposed earlier for constructing defining systems, which are a means for finding singular solutions to nonlinear equations, and the Newton-like methods based on this technique are now analyzed from the point of view of their stability with respect to perturbations in the operator of the equation. The results obtained make it possible to extend this approach to nonlinear boundary value problems for ordinary differential equations.
