<正>We consider a finite difference scheme for a nonlinear wave equation,whose solutions may lose their smoothness in finite time,i.e.,blow up in finite time.In order to numerically reproduce blow-up solutions,we propose a rule for a time-stepping, which is a variant of what was successfully used in the case of nonlinear parabolic equations.A numerical blow-up time is defined and is proved to converge,under a certain hypothesis,to the real blow-up time as the grid size tends to zero.  相似文献

In this paper,nonconforming finite element methods(FEMs)are proposed for the constrained optimal control problems(OCPs)governed by the nonsmooth elliptic equations,in which the popular EQr1 ot element is employed to approximate the state and adjoint state,and the piecewise constant element is used to approximate the control.Firstly,the convergence and superconvergence properties for the nonsmooth elliptic equation are obtained by introducing an auxiliary problem.Secondly,the goal-oriented error estimates are obtained for the objective function through establishing the negative norm error estimate.Lastly,the methods are extended to some other well-known nonconforming elements.  相似文献

We prove weighted mixed-norm Lqt(W2,px)and Lqt(C2,αx)estimates for 10,x∈Rn.x∈Rn,The coefficients a(t)=(aij(t))are just bounded,measurable,symmetric and uniformly elliptic.Furthermore,we show strong,weak type and BMO-Sobolev estimates with parabolic Muckenhoupt weights.It is quite remarkable that most of our results are new even for the classical heat equation?tu?Δu+u=f.  相似文献

A graph is IC-planar if it admits a drawing in the plane such that each edge is crossed at most once and two crossed edges share no common end-vertex.A proper total-k-coloring of G is called neighbor sum distinguishing if∑_c(u)≠∑_c(v)for each edge uv∈E(G),where∑_c(v)denote the sum of the color of a vertex v and the colors of edges incident with v.The least number k needed for such a total coloring of G,denoted byχ∑"is the neighbor sum distinguishing total chromatic number.Pilsniak and Wozniak conjecturedχ∑"(G)≤Δ(G)+3 for any simple graph with maximum degreeΔ(G).By using the famous Combinatorial Nullstellensatz,we prove that above conjecture holds for any triangle free IC-planar graph with△(G)≥7.Moreover,it holds for any triangle free planar graph withΔ(G)≥6.  相似文献

An inverse spectral problem is studied for a non-selfadjoint Sturm-Liouville operator on a finite interval with an arbitrary behavior of the spectrum. The spectral data introduced generalize the classical discrete spectral data corresponding to the specification of the spectral function in the selfadjoint case. The connection with other types of spectral characteristics is investigated and a uniqueness theorem is proved. A constructive procedure for solving the inverse problem is given.  相似文献

We obtain a sharp upper bound for the spectral radius of a nonnegative matrix. This result is used to present upper bounds for the adjacency spectral radius, the Laplacian spectral radius, the signless Laplacian spectral radius, the distance spectral radius, the distance Laplacian spectral radius, the distance signless Laplacian spectral radius of an undirected graph or a digraph. The concept of a spectral sequence constructor is generalised to Hopf Galois extensions. The spectral sequence constructions that are given by Guichardet for crossed product algebras are also generalised and shown to provide examples. We introduce the periodic Airy–Schrödinger operator and we describe its band spectrum. This is an example of solvable model with a periodic potential which is not differentiable at its extrema. We prove that there exists a sequence of explicit constants giving upper bounds of the semiclassical parameter for which explicit estimates are valid. We completely determine the behaviour of the edges of the first spectral band with respect to the semiclassical parameter. Then, we investigate the spectral bands and gaps situated in the range of the potential. We prove precise estimates on the widths of these spectral bands and these spectral gaps and we determine an upper bound on the integrated spectral density in this range. Finally, we get estimates of the edges of spectral bands and thus of the widths of spectral bands and spectral gaps which are stated for values of the semiclassical parameter in fixed intervals.  相似文献

This paper studies resolvent convergence and spectral approximations of sequences of self-adjoint subspaces (relations) in complex Hilbert spaces. Concepts of strong resolvent convergence, norm resolvent convergence, spectral inclusion, and spectral exactness are introduced. Fundamental properties of resolvents of subspaces are studied. By applying these properties, several equivalent and sufficient conditions for convergence of sequences of self-adjoint subspaces in the strong and norm resolvent senses are given. It is shown that a sequence of self-adjoint subspaces is spectrally inclusive under the strong resolvent convergence and spectrally exact under the norm resolvent convergence. A sufficient condition is given for spectral exactness of a sequence of self-adjoint subspaces in an open interval lacking essential spectral points. In addition, criteria are established for spectral inclusion and spectral exactness of a sequence of self-adjoint subspaces that are defined on proper closed subspaces.  相似文献

Spectral density and structure function for fractal profile are analyzed. It is found that the fractal dimension obtained from spectral density is not exactly the same as that obtained from structure function. The fractal dimension of structure function is larger than that of spectral density for small fractal dimension, and is smaller than that of spectral density for larger fractal dimension. The fractal dimension of structure function strongly depends on the spectral density at low and high wave numbers. The spectral density at low wave number affects the structure function at long distance, especially for small fractal dimension. The spectral density at high wave number affects the structure function at short distance, especially for large fractal dimension. This problem is more serious for bifractal profiles. Therefore, in order to obtain a correct fractal dimension, both spectral density and structure function should be checked.  相似文献

In this note the notions of trace compatible operators and infinitesimal spectral flow are introduced. We define the spectral shift function as the integral of infinitesimal spectral flow. It is proved that the spectral shift function thus defined is absolutely continuous and Kreĭn's formula is established. Some examples of trace compatible affine spaces of operators are given.

The essential spectral radius of a sub-Markovian process is defined as the infimum of the spectral radiuses of all local perturbations of the process. When the family of rescaled processes satisfies sample path large deviation principle, the spectral radius and the essential spectral radius are expressed in terms of the rate function. The paper is motivated by applications to reflected diffusions and jump Markov processes describing stochastic networks for which the sample path large deviation principle has been established and the rate function has been identified while essential spectral radius has not been calculated.  相似文献

A supertree is a connected and acyclic hypergraph. We investigate the supertrees with the extremal spectral radii among several kinds of r-uniform supertrees. First, by using the matching polynomials of supertrees, a new and useful grafting operation is proposed for comparing the spectral radii of supertrees, and its applications are shown to obtain the supertrees with the extremal spectral radii among some kinds of r-uniform supertrees. Second, the supertree with the third smallest spectral radius among the r-uniform supertrees is deduced. Third, among the r-uniform supertrees with a given maximum degree, the supertree with the smallest spectral radius is derived. At last, among the r-uniform starlike supertrees, the supertrees with the smallest and the largest spectral radii are characterized.  相似文献

In an attempt to examine the random version of the spectral theorem, the notion of random spectral measures and generalized random spectral measures are introduced and investigated.
