A homeomorphism w=f(z) of a domain D is called a locally quasiconformal mapping, if for each subdomain D' of D with 'D, the restriction of f(z) on D' is a quasiconformal mapping. We give some conditions for a measurable function μ(z) on the unit disc to be the complex dilatation of a locally quasiconformal mapping f which can be homeomorphically extended to the closed unit disc.  相似文献

By studying the mapping by heights for quadratic differentials introduced by Strebel, some relations have been established between the maximal norm sequence for quasisymmetric functions and the Hamilton sequence for extremal quasiconformal mappings in the unit disk. Consequently it is proved that a Hamilton sequence is only determined by e quasisymmetric function. The properties of the extremal sets of extremal quasiconformal mappings are discussed. It is proved that if an extremal Beltrami coefficient μ(z) is not uniquely extremal, then there exists an extremal Beltrami coefficient v(z) in its equivalent class and a compact subset E Δ with positive measure such that the essential upper bound of v(z) on E is less than the norm of [μ].  相似文献

In this paper we consider a proper subclass nA of the full class of spirallike mappings on the Euclidean unit ball Bn in Cn with respect to a given linear operator A. We use the method of subordination chains to obtain an upper growth result for nA , and we obtain various examples of mappings in the same class of normalized biholomorphic mappings on the unit ball Bn in Cn . We also prove that the class nA is compact, while the full class of spirallike mappings with respect to a linear operator need not be compact in dimension n≥2, even when the operator is diagonal. This is one of the motivations for considering the class nA . Finally we prove that if f is a quasiregular strongly spirallike mapping on Bn such that ||[Df(z)]-1 Af(z)|| is uniformly bounded on Bn , then f extends to a homeomorphism of R2n onto itself. In addition, if A + A* = 2aI n for some a 0, this extension is also quasiconformal on R2n .  相似文献

This paper gets the Beltrami equations satisfied by a 1-quasiconformal mapping, which are exactly CR or anti-CR equations on (2,2)-type quadric Q0. This means a 1-quasiconformal mapping on Q0 is CR or anti-CR. This reduces the determination of 1- quasiconformal mappings to a problem on the theory of several complex analysis. The result about the group of CR automorphisms is used to determine the unit component of group of 1-quasiconformal mappings.  相似文献

The main result of this paper is the sharp generalized Schwarz-Pick inequality for euclidean harmonic quasiconformal mappings with convex ranges, which generalizes a result given by Mateljevi?. As its applications, we obtain the property of quasi-isometry with respect to the Poincaré distance and an analogue of the Koebe theorem for this class of mappings.  相似文献

In this paper, we give an affirmative answer to Sheretov's problem on the uniqueness of harmonic mappings and improve the unique minimal mapping theorem of Reich and Strebel. Meanwhile, we also solve a problem posed by Reich and obtain the uniqueness theorem on related weight functions.

We study the notion of -density of metric spaces which was introduced by V. Aseev and D. Trotsenko. Interrelation between -density and homogeneous density is established. We also characterize -dense spaces as arcwise connected metric spaces in which arcs are the quasimobius images of the middle-third Cantor set. In this paper, we first study the relationship between weakly contractive mappings and weakly Kannan mappings. Further, we discuss characterizations of metric completeness which are connected with the existence of fixed points for mappings. Especially, we show that a metric space is complete if it has the fixed point property for Kannan mappings.

This paper studies the subset of the non-Strebel points in the universal Teichmuller space T. Let Z0 ∈ △be a fixed point.
