An application of the Riemann-Roch theorem

Applying the Riemann-Roch theorem,we calculate the dimension of a kind of mero- morphicλ-differentials' space on compact Riemann surfaces.And we also construct a basis of theλ-differentials' space.As the main result,the Cauchy type of integral formula on compact Riemann surfaces is established.     

Proper holomorphic self-maps of smooth bounded Reinhardt domains in ?2

It is proved that every proper holomorphic self-map of a smooth bounded Reinhardt domain in ℂ² is an automorphism. Convergence rates for probabilities of moderate deviations for moving average processes

The present paper first shows that, without any dependent structure assumptions for a sequence of random variables, the refined results of the complete convergence for the sequence is equivalent to the corresponding complete moment convergence of the sequence. Then this paper investigates the convergence rates and refined convergence rates （or complete moment convergence） for probabilities of moderate deviations of moving average processes. The results in this paper extend and generalize some well-known results.     

Solid codes and the uniform density of fd-domains

By means of further investigation of solid codes,the problem“Is every fd-domain uni- formly dense”proposed by Yuqi Guo,C.M.Reis and G.Thierrin in 1988 is solved in this paper.     

Moderate deviations for the quenched mean of the super-Brownian motion with random immigration

Moderate deviations for the quenched mean of the super-Brownian motion with random immigration are proved for 3≤d≤6, which fills in the gap between central limit theorem(CLT)and large deviation principle(LDP).     

Birkhoff’s theorem and viscosity solutions of Hamilton-Jacobi equations

We obtain a partial generalization of Birkhoff’s theorem of invariant curve to higher dimesional case in the context of viscosity solutions of Hamilton-Jacobi equations, or weak KAM theory. This is a new approach after Herman’s proof. Modified likelihood ratio test for homogeneity in bivariate normal mixtures with presence of a structural parameter

This paper investigates the asymptotic properties of the modified likelihood ratio statistic for testing homogeneity in bivariate normal mixture models with an unknown structural parameter. It is shown that the modified likelihood ratio statistic has χ22 null limiting distribution.     

Boundedness in Lebesgue spaces for commutators of multilinear singular integrals and RBMO functions with non-doubling measures

The boundedness in Lebesgue spaces for commutators generated by multilinear singular integrals and RBMO(μ) functions of Tolsa with non-doubling measures is obtained, provided that‖μ‖=∞and multilinear singular integrals are bounded from L1(μ)×L1(μ)to L1/2,∞(μ).     

The algebraic structure of discrete zero curvature equations associated with integrable couplings and application to enlarged Volterra systems

An algebraic structure of discrete zero curvature equations is established for integrable coupling systems associated with semi-direct sums of Lie algebras. As an application example of this algebraic structure, a τ-symmetry algebra for the Volterra lattice integrable couplings is engendered from this theory.     

On the value distribution of <Emphasis Type="Italic">ƒ</Emphasis> + <Emphasis Type="Italic">a</Emphasis>(<Emphasis Type="Italic">ƒ</Emphasis>′)<Superscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">n</Emphasis></Superscript>

Let ƒ be a transcendental meromorphic function, a a nonzero finite complex number, and n ⩾ 2 a positive integer. Then ƒ + a(ƒ′) ⁿ assumes every complex value infinitely often. This answers a question of Ye for n = 2. A related normality criterion is also given. On the Rankin-Selberg problem: higher power moments of the Riesz mean error term

LetΔ_1(x;φ) be the error term of the first Riesz mean of the Rankin-Selberg problem. We study the higher power moments ofΔ_1(x;φ) and derive an asymptotic formula for the 3-rd, 4-th and 5-th power moments by using Ivic's large value arguments and other techniques.     

An integral estimate of Bessel function and its application

In this paper the authors give a new integral estimate of the Bessel function,which is an extension of Calder(?)n-Zygmund's result.As an application of this result,we prove that the parameterized Marcinkiewicz integralμ_Ω~p with variable kernels is of type (2,2),where the kernel functionΩdoes not have any smoothness on the unit sphere in R~n.     

2-Cocycles of original deformative Schr?dinger-Virasoro algebras

Both original and twisted Schr?dinger-Virasoro algebras, and also their deformations were introduced and investigated in a series of papers by Henkel, Roger and Unterberger. In the present paper we aim at determining the 2-cocycles of original deformative Schr?dinger-Virasoro algebras. On the relation between ADM and Bondi energy-momenta Ⅲ-perturbed radiative spatial infinity

In a vacuum spacetime equipped with the Bondi’s radiating metric which is asymptotically flat at spatial infinity including gravitational radiation (Condition D), we establish the relation between the ADM total energy-momentum and the Bondi energy-momentum for perturbed radiative spatial infinity. The perturbation is given by defining the “real” time as the sum of the retarded time, the Euclidean distance and certain function f. Asymptotic bound on binary self-orthogonal codes

We present two constructions for binary self-orthogonal codes. It turns out that our constructions yield a constructive bound on binary self-orthogonal codes. In particular, when the information rate R = 1/2, by our constructive lower bound, the relative minimum distance δ ≈ 0.0595 (for GV bound, δ ≈ 0.110). Moreover, we have proved that the binary self-orthogonal codes asymptotically achieve the Gilbert-Varshamov bound. Analysis of search-extension method for finding multiple solutions of nonlinear problem

For numerical computations of multiple solutions of the nonlinear elliptic problemΔu f(u)=0 inΩ, u=0 onΓ, a search-extension method (SEM) was proposed and systematically studied by the authors. This paper shall complete its theoretical analysis. It is assumed that the nonlinearity is non-convex and its solution is isolated, under some conditions the corresponding linearized problem has a unique solution. By use of the compactness of the solution family and the contradiction argument, in general conditions, the high order regularity of the solution u∈H~(1 α),α>0 is proved. Assume that some initial value searched by suitably many eigenbases is already fallen into the neighborhood of the isolated solution, then the optimal error estimates of its nonlinear finite element approximation are shown by the duality argument and continuation method.     

Characterizations of α-Bloch functions on the unit ball without use of derivative

In this paper we establish characterizations of α-Bloch functions on the unit ball without use of derivative, which are stronger, more precise and general than those obtained by Nowak and Zhao.     

On Browkin’s conjecture about the elements of order five in <Emphasis Type="Italic">K</Emphasis><Subscript>2</Subscript>(ℚ)

Based on the work of Lenstra, a succinct proof of Browkin’s conjecture about the elements of order five in K ₂(ℚ) is given. This work was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Grant No. 10371061).     

Global solutions of stochastic 2D Navier-Stokes equations with Lévy noise

In this paper, we prove the global existence and uniqueness of the strong and weak solutions for 2D Navier-Stokes equations on the torus perturbed by a Lévy process. The existence of invariant measure of the solutions are proved also. A Note on Linear Extension of Into-Isometries Between Two Unit Spheres of Atomic AL^p-Space （0 〈 p 〈∞）
