The present paper first shows that, without any dependent structure assumptions for a sequence of random variables, the refined results of the complete convergence for the sequence is equivalent to the corresponding complete moment convergence of the sequence. Then this paper investigates the convergence rates and refined convergence rates (or complete moment convergence) for probabilities of moderate deviations of moving average processes. We obtain a partial generalization of Birkhoff’s theorem of invariant curve to higher dimesional case in the context of viscosity solutions of Hamilton-Jacobi equations, or weak KAM theory. Let ƒ be a transcendental meromorphic function, a a nonzero finite complex number, and n ⩾ 2 a positive integer. Then ƒ + a(ƒ′) n assumes every complex value infinitely often. This answers a question of Ye for n = 2. A related normality criterion is also given. In a vacuum spacetime equipped with the Bondi’s radiating metric which is asymptotically flat at spatial infinity including gravitational radiation (Condition D), we establish the relation between the ADM total energy-momentum and the Bondi energy-momentum for perturbed radiative spatial infinity. The perturbation is given by defining the “real” time as the sum of the retarded time, the Euclidean distance and certain function f. We present two constructions for binary self-orthogonal codes. It turns out that our constructions yield a constructive bound on binary self-orthogonal codes. In particular, when the information rate R = 1/2, by our constructive lower bound, the relative minimum distance δ ≈ 0.0595 (for GV bound, δ ≈ 0.110). Moreover, we have proved that the binary self-orthogonal codes asymptotically achieve the Gilbert-Varshamov bound. For numerical computations of multiple solutions of the nonlinear elliptic problemΔu f(u)=0 inΩ, u=0 onΓ, a search-extension method (SEM) was proposed and systematically studied by the authors. This paper shall complete its theoretical analysis. It is assumed that the nonlinearity is non-convex and its solution is isolated, under some conditions the corresponding linearized problem has a unique solution. By use of the compactness of the solution family and the contradiction argument, in general conditions, the high order regularity of the solution u∈H~(1 α),α>0 is proved. Assume that some initial value searched by suitably many eigenbases is already fallen into the neighborhood of the isolated solution, then the optimal error estimates of its nonlinear finite element approximation are shown by the duality argument and continuation method.  相似文献
