This paper deals with the existence of travelling wavefronts for scalar nonlinear reaction–diffusion equations with and without delays in one-dimensional space. New iterative techniques for a class of integral operators of Hammerstein type are established and applied to tackle the existence of travelling wavefronts in a unified way. Our results without delays only require the functions involved to be continuous and satisfy a suitable monotonicity condition. Our results with multiple delays employ the usual C1-assumption but generalize the well-known results.  相似文献

This paper concerns with a new delayed predator–prey model with stage structure on prey, in which the immature prey and the mature prey are preyed by predator and the delay is the length of the immature stage. Mathematical analysis of the model equations is given with regard to invariance of non-negativity, boundedness of solutions, permanence and global stability and nature of equilibria. Our work shows that the stage structure on the prey is one of the important factors that affect the extinction of the predator, and the predation on immature prey is a cause of periodic oscillation of population and can make the behaviors of the system more complex. The predation on the immature and mature prey brings both positive and negative effects on the permanence of the predator, if ignore the predation on immature prey in the system, the stage-structure on prey brings only negative effect on the permanence of the predator.  相似文献

A predator–prey model of Beddington–DeAngelis type with maturation and gestation delays is formulated and analyzed. This two-delay model is similar to the stage-structured model by Liu and Beretta [S. Liu, E. Beretta, Stage-structured predator–prey Model with the Beddington–DeAngelis functional response, SIAM J. Appl. Math. 66 (2006) 1101–1129] but contains an extra gestation delay term. Criteria for permanence and for predator extinction as well as the global attractiveness of the interior equilibrium are derived. The combined effects of the two delays and the degree of predator interference on the dynamical behaviors of the coexistence equilibrium are also studied both analytically and numerically. It is shown that complicated behaviors including chaotic and multi-periodic solutions may occur with the introduction of gestation delay, and that the predator interference can stabilize the system by simplifying the dynamical behaviors and enlarging the stability parameter fields.  相似文献

In this paper, a class of Cohen–Grossberg neural networks with bounded and unbounded delays is discussed. Several new sufficient conditions are obtained ensuring the existence and exponential stability of the almost periodic solution for this model based on inequality analysis technique and combing the exponential dichotomy with fixed point theorem. The obtained results are helpful to design globally exponentially stable almost periodic oscillatory neural networks. Two numerical examples and simulations are also given to show the feasibility of our results.  相似文献

A virus dynamics model with Beddington–DeAngelis functional response and delays is introduced. By analyzing the characteristic equations, the local stability of an infection-free equilibrium and a chronic-infection equilibrium of the model is established. By using suitable Lyapunov functionals and the LaSalle invariance principle, we show that the infection-free equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable if R0?1R0?1 and the chronic-infection equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable if R0>1R0>1. Numerical simulations are also given to explain our results.  相似文献

For competitive Lotka–Volterra systems, Ahmad and Lazer’s work [S. Ahmad, A.C. Lazer, Average growth and total permanence in a competitive Lotka–Volterra system, Annali di Matematica 185 (2006) S47–S67] on total permanence of systems without delays has been extended to delayed systems [Z. Hou, On permanence of all subsystems of competitive Lotka–Volterra systems with delays, Nonlinear Analysis: Real World Applications 11 (2010) 4285–4301]. In this paper, existence and boundedness of nonnegative solutions and permanence are considered for general Lotka–Volterra systems with delays including competitive, cooperative, predator–prey and mixed type systems. First, a condition is established for the existence and boundedness of solutions on a half line. Second, a necessary condition on the limits of the average growth rates is provided for permanence of all subsystems. Then the result for competitive systems is also proved for the general systems by using the same techniques. Just as for competitive systems, the eminent finding is that permanence of the system and all of its subsystems is completely irrelevant to the size and distribution of the delays.  相似文献

In this paper, a Volterra model with mutual interference and time delays is investigated. By applying the comparison theorem of the differential equations and constructing a suitable Lyapunov functional, sufficient conditions which guarantee the permanence and existence of a unique globally attractive positive almost periodic solution of the system are obtained. Two suitable examples together with their numeric simulations are given to illustrate our results by using MatLab.  相似文献

In the Lotka–Volterra competition system with N-competing species if the effect of dispersion and time-delays are both taken into consideration, then the densities of the competing species are governed by a coupled system of reaction–diffusion equations with time-delays. The aim of this paper is to investigate the asymptotic behavior of the time-dependent solution in relation to a positive uniform solution of the corresponding steady-state problem in a bounded domain with Neumann boundary condition, including the existence and uniqueness of a positive steady-state solution. A simple and easily verifiable condition is given to the competing rate constants to ensure the global asymptotic stability of the positive steady-state solution. This result leads to the permanence of the competing system, the instability of the trivial and all forms of semitrivial solutions, and the nonexistence of nonuniform steady-state solution. The condition for the global asymptotic stability is independent of diffusion and time-delays, and the conclusions for the reaction–diffusion system are directly applicable to the corresponding ordinary differential system.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate a class of fuzzy Cohen-Grossberg neural networks with time delays and impulsive effects. By employing an inequality technique, we find sufficient conditions for the existence, uniqueness, global exponential stability of the equilibrium without using the M-matrix theory. -In this paper, we investigate the synchronization problems of chaotic fuzzy cellular neural networks with time-varying delays. To overcome the difficulty that complete synchronization between non-identical chaotic neural networks cannot be achieved only by utilizing output feedback control, we use a sliding mode control approach to study the synchronization of non-identical chaotic fuzzy cellular neural networks with time-varying delays, where the parameters and activation functions are mismatched. By applying Dini derivative and introducing many real parameters, a series of new and useful criteria on the existence and local exponential stability for general shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks have been derived. In this paper,we prove the existence and the global exponential stability of the unique weighted pseudo almost-periodic solution of shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks with mixed time-varying delays comprising different discrete and distributed time delays.Some sufficient conditions are given for the existence and the global exponential stability of the weighted pseudo almost-periodic solution by employing fixed point theorem and differential inequality techniques.The results of this paper complement the previously known ones.Finally,an illustrative example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of our results.  相似文献

Complex nonlinear systems can be represented to a set of linear sub-models by using fuzzy sets and fuzzy reasoning via ordinary Takagi-Sugeno (TS) fuzzy models. In this paper, the exponential stability of TS fuzzy bidirectional associative memory (BAM) neural networks with impulsive effect and time-varying delays is investigated. The model of fuzzy impulsive BAM neural networks with time-varying delays established as a modified TS fuzzy model is new in which the consequent parts are composed of a set of impulsive BAM neural networks with time-varying delays. Further the exponential stability for fuzzy impulsive BAM neural networks is presented by utilizing the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and the linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique without tuning any parameters. In addition, an example is provided to illustrate the applicability of the result using LMI control toolbox in MATLAB.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the dynamical behavior of fuzzy cellular neural networks with discrete time delays. By constructing proper Lyapunov functional, applying inequality technique and the homeomorphism theory, some new sufficient conditions checking the existence, uniqueness of the equilibrium point and its global exponential stability are obtained for fuzzy cellular neural networks. In this paper, the global asymptotic stability problem of Takagi–Sugeno (TS) fuzzy Cohen–Grossberg Bidirectional Associative Memory neural networks (FCGBAMNNs) with discrete and distributed time-varying delays is considered. A novel LMI-based stability criterion is obtained by using Lyapunov functional theory to guarantee the asymptotic stability of FCGBAMNNs which are represented by TS fuzzy models. Our results can be easily verified and are also less restrictive than previously known criteria and can be applied to Cohen–Grossberg neural networks, recurrent neural networks and cellular neural networks. Finally, the proposed stability conditions are demonstrated with a numerical example.  相似文献
