We study positive integral operators in with continuous kernel k(x,y). We show that if the operator is compact and Hilbert-Schmidt. If in addition k(x,x)→0 as |x|→∞, k is represented by an absolutely and uniformly convergent bilinear series of uniformly continuous eigenfunctions and is trace class. Replacing the first assumption by the stronger then and the bilinear series converges also in L1. Sharp norm bounds are obtained and Mercer's theorem is derived as a special case.  相似文献

Generalizing a construction of Atkin described in a recent paper by Kaneko and Zagier (Computational Perspectives on Number Theory (Chicago, IL, 1995), AMS/IP 7 (1998) 97-126), we define an inner product on for every . Suppose a system of orthogonal polynomials {Pn,ψ(x)}n=0 with respect to exists. We prove that if n is sufficiently large and ψ(x)Pn,ψ(x) is p-integral, then over . In this paper we investigate Hankel operators with anti-holomorphic symbols ∈L2(C,m|z|), where are general Fock spaces. We will show that is not continuous if the corresponding symbol is not a polynomial . For polynomial symbols we will give necessary and sufficient conditions for continuity and compactness in terms of N and m. For monomials we will give a complete characterization of the Schatten-von Neumann p-class membership for p>0. Namely in case 2k<m the Hankel operators are in the Schatten-von Neumann p-class iff p>2m/(m−2k); and in case 2k?m they are not in the Schatten-von Neumann p-class.  相似文献

Schwartz's almost periodic distributions are generalized to the case of Banach space valued distributions , and furthermore for a given arbitrary class A to for φ∈ test functions D(R,C)}. It is shown that this extension process is iteration complete, i.e. . For many of the above results a new (Δ)-condition is needed, we show that it holds for most of the A needed in applications. Given a function f on Rn, we introduce the concept of anisotropic regularization as a generalization of Tikhonov regularization fε(x)=f(x)+εx. When f is a continuous -function on Rn and K is a box in Rn, we study the properties of and the limiting behavior of solutions of a regularized box variational inequality problem , with emphasis on the existence of weak Pareto minimal points with respect to K. This work generalizes results of Sznajder and Gowda (1998) proved in the setting of nonlinear complementarity problems.  相似文献
