In this paper, we investigate an inverse problem of recovering the zeroth-order coefficient and fractional order simultaneously in a time-fractional reaction-diffusion-wave equation by using boundary measurement data from both of uniqueness and numerical method. We prove the uniqueness of the considered inverse problem and the Lipschitz continuity of the forward operator. Then the inverse problem is formulated into a variational problem by the Tikhonov-type regularization. Based on the continuity of the forward operator, we prove that the minimizer of the Tikhonov-type functional exists and converges to the exact solution under an a priori choice of regularization parameter. The steepest descent method combined with Nesterov acceleration is adopted to solve the variational problem. Three numerical examples are presented to support the efficiency and rationality of our proposed method.  相似文献

We consider a linear integral equation with a hypersingular integral treated in the sense of the Hadamard finite value. This equation arises in the solution of the Neumann boundary value problem for the Laplace equation with a representation of a solution in the form of a double-layer potential. We consider the case in which the interior or exterior boundary value problem is solved in a domain; whose boundary is a smooth closed surface, and an integral equation is written out on that surface. For the integral operator in that equation, we suggest quadrature formulas like the method of vortical frames with a regularization, which provides its approximation on the entire surface for the use of a nonstructured partition. We construct a numerical scheme for the integral equation on the basis of suggested quadrature formulas, prove an estimate for the norm of the inverse matrix of the related system of linear equations and the uniform convergence of numerical solutions to the exact solution of the hypersingular integral equation on the grid.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the inverse problem of determining the heat source, which depends only on spatial variable in one‐dimensional heat equation in a bounded domain where data is given at some fixed time. A conditional stability result is given, and a quasi‐boundary value regularization method is also provided. For this regularization solution, the Hölder type stability estimate between the regularization solution and the exact solution is obtained. Numerical examples show that the regularization method is effective and stable. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

An inverse boundary value problem for a nonlinear parabolic equation is considered. Two-sided estimates for the norms of values of a nonlinear operator in terms of those of a corresponding linear operator are obtained. On this basis, two-sided estimates for the modulus of continuity of a nonlinear inverse problem in terms of that of a corresponding linear problem are obtained. A method of auxiliary boundary conditions is used to construct stable approximate solutions to the nonlinear inverse problem. An accurate (to an order) error estimate for the method of auxiliary boundary conditions is obtained on a uniform regularization class.  相似文献

We consider a class of problems modeling the process of determining the temperature and density of heat sources given initial and finite temperature. Their mathematical statements involve inverse problems for the heat equation in which, solving the equation, we have to find the unknown right-hand side depending only on the space variable. We prove the existence and uniqueness of classical solutions to the problem, solving the problem independently of whether the corresponding spectral problem (for the operator of multiple differentiation with not strongly regular boundary conditions) has a basis of generalized eigenfunctions.  相似文献

We consider a linear integral equation with a supersingular integral treated in the sense of the Hadamard finite value, which arises in the solution of the Neumann boundary value problem for the Laplace equation with the representation of the solution in the form of a doublelayer potential. We consider the case in which the exterior boundary value problem is solved outside a plane surface (a screen). For the integral operator in the above-mentioned equation, we suggest quadrature formulas of the vortex loop method with regularization, which provide its approximation on the entire surface when using an unstructured partition. In the problem in question, the derivative of the unknown density of the double-layer potential, as well as the errors of quadrature formulas, has singularities in a neighborhood of the screen edge. We construct a numerical scheme for the integral equation on the basis of the suggested quadrature formulas and prove an estimate for the norm of the inverse matrix of the resulting system of linear equations and the uniform convergence of the numerical solutions to the exact solution of the supersingular integral equation on the grid.  相似文献

In this paper, we study an inverse problem of identifying a time-dependent term of an unknown source for a time fractional diffusion equation using nonlocal measurement data. Firstly, we establish the conditional stability for this inverse problem. Then two regularization methods are proposed to for reconstructing the time-dependent source term from noisy measurements. The first method is an integral equation method which formulates the inverse source problem into an integral equation of the second kind; and a prior convergence rate of regularized solutions is derived with a suitable choice strategy of regularization parameters. The second method is a standard Tikhonov regularization method and formulates the inverse source problem as a minimizing problem of the Tikhonov functional. Based on the superposition principle and the technique of finite-element interpolation, a numerical scheme is proposed to implement the second regularization method. One- and two-dimensional examples are carried out to verify efficiency and stability of the second regularization method.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Considered in this paper is an inverse Robin problem governed by a steady-state diffusion equation. By the Robin inverse problem, one wants to recover the unknown Robin coefficient on an inaccessible boundary from Cauchy data measured on the accessible boundary. In this paper, instead of reconstructing the Robin coefficient directly, we compute first the Cauchy data on the inaccessible boundary which is a linear inverse problem, and then compute the Robin coefficient through Newton's law. For the Cauchy problem, a parameter-dependent coupled complex boundary method (CCBM) is applied. The CCBM has its own merits, and this is particularly true when it is applied to the Cauchy problem. With the introduction of a positive parameter, we can prove the regularized solution is uniformly bounded with respect to the regularization parameter which is a very good property because the solution can now be reconstructed for a rather small value of the regularization parameter. For the problem of computing the Robin coefficient from the recovered Cauchy data, a least square output Tikhonov regularization method is applied to Newton's law to obtain a stable approximate Robin coefficient. Numerical results are given to show the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider an inverse source problem for a time-fractional diffusion equation with variable coefficients in a general bounded domain. That is to determine a space-dependent source term in the time-fractional diffusion equation from a noisy final data. Based on a series expression of the solution, we can transform the original inverse problem into a first kind integral equation. The uniqueness and a conditional stability for the space-dependent source term can be obtained. Further, we propose a modified quasi-boundary value regularization method to deal with the inverse source problem and obtain two kinds of convergence rates by using an a priori and an a posteriori regularization parameter choice rule, respectively. Numerical examples in one-dimensional and two-dimensional cases are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

The inverse problem of determining an unknown source term depending on space variable in a parabolic equation is considered. A numerical algorithm is presented for recovering the unknown function and obtaining a solution of the problem. As this inverse problem is ill‐posed, Tikhonov regularization is used for finding a stable solution. For solving the direct problem, a Galerkin method with the Sinc basis functions in both the space and time domains is presented. This approximate solution displays an exponential convergence rate and is valid on the infinite time interval. Finally, some examples are presented to illustrate the ability and efficiency of this numerical method. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Numer Methods Partial Differential Eq 2013  相似文献

We consider numerical methods for solving inverse problems that arise in heart electrophysiology. The first inverse problem is the Cauchy problem for the Laplace equation. Its solution algorithm is based on the Tikhonov regularization method and the method of boundary integral equations. The second inverse problem is the problem of finding the discontinuity surface of the coefficient of conductivity of a medium on the basis of the potential and its normal derivative given on the exterior surface. For its numerical solution, we suggest a method based on the method of boundary integral equations and the assumption on a special representation of the unknown surface.  相似文献

This work investigates the inverse problem of reconstructing a spacewise dependent heat source in a two-dimensional heat conduction equation using a final temperature measurement. Problems of this type have important applications in several fields of applied science. Under certain assumptions, this problem can be transformed into a one-dimensional problem where the heat source only depends on the variable r  . However, being different from other one-dimensional inverse heat source problems, there exists singularity on the coefficient of our model, which may make the analysis more difficult, regardless of theoretical or numerical. The inverse problem is reduced to an operator equation of the first kind and the corresponding adjoint operator is deuced. For the two dimensional case, i.e., f=f(r,θ)f=f(r,θ), theoretical analysis can be done by similar derivation. Based on the landweber regularization framework, an iterative algorithm is proposed to obtain the numerical solution. Some typical numerical examples are presented to show the validity of the inversion method.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to identify a space-dependent source term in a multi-dimensional time fractional diffusion-wave equation from a part of noisy boundary data. Based on the series expression of solution for the direct problem, we improve the regularity of the weak solution for the direct problem under strong conditions. And we obtain the uniqueness of inverse space-dependent source term problem by the Titchmarsh convolution theorem and the Duhamel principle. Further, we use a non-stationary iterative Tikhonov regularization method combined with a finite dimensional approximation to find a stable source term. Numerical examples are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

This work is concerned with identifying a space-dependent source function from noisy final time measured data in a time-fractional diffusion wave equation by a variational regularization approach. We provide a regularity of direct problem as well as the existence and uniqueness of adjoint problem. The uniqueness of the inverse source problem is discussed. Using the Tikhonov regularization method, the inverse source problem is formulated into a variational problem and a conjugate gradient algorithm is proposed to solve it. The efficiency and robust of the proposed method are supported by some numerical experiments.  相似文献

For an equation with a nonlinear differentiable operator acting in a Hilbert space, we study a two-stage method of construction of a regularizing algorithm. First, we use the Lavrentiev regularization scheme. Then we apply to the regularized equation either Newton’s method or nonlinear analogs of α-processes: the minimum error method, the minimum residual method, and the steepest descent method. For these processes, we establish the linear convergence rate and the Fejér property of iterations. Two cases are considered: when the operator of the problem is monotone and when the operator is finite-dimensional and its derivative has nonnegative spectrum. For the two-stage method with a monotone operator, we give an error bound, which has optimal order on the class of sourcewise representable solutions. In the second case, the error of the method is estimated by means of the residual. The proposed methods and their modified analogs are implemented numerically for three-dimensional inverse problems of gravimetry and magnetometry. The results of the numerical experiment are discussed.  相似文献

We consider an inverse problem of determining a source term for a structural acoustic partial differential equation (PDE) model that is comprised of a two- or a three-dimensional interior acoustic wave equation coupled to an elastic plate equation. The coupling takes place across a boundary interface. For this PDE system, we obtain uniqueness and stability estimates for the source term from a single measurement of boundary values of the “structure” (acceleration of the elastic plate). The proof of uniqueness is based on a Carleman estimate (first version) of the wave problem within the chamber. The proof of stability relies on three main points: (i) a more refined Carleman estimate (second version) and its resulting implication, a continuous observability-type estimate; (ii) a compactness/uniqueness argument; (iii) an operator theoretic approach for obtaining the needed regularity in terms of the initial conditions.  相似文献

We consider a problem of modeling the thermal diffusion process in a closed metal wire wrapped around a thin sheet of insulation material. The layer of insulation is assumed to be slightly permeable. Therefore, the temperature value from one side affects the diffusion process on the other side. For this reason, the standard heat equation is modified, and a third term with an involution is added. Modeling of this process leads to the consideration of an inverse problem for a one‐dimensional fractional evolution equation with involution and with periodic boundary conditions with respect to a space variable. This equation interpolates heat equation. Such equations are also called nonlocal subdiffusion equations or nonlocal heat equations. The inverse problem consists in the restoration (simultaneously with the solution) of the unknown right‐hand side of the equation, which depends only on the spatial variable. The conditions for overdefinition are initial and final states. Existence and uniqueness results for the given problem are obtained via the method of separation of variables.  相似文献

We consider the inverse source problem for a time fractional diffusion equation. The unknown source term is independent of the time variable, and the problem is considered in two dimensions. A biorthogonal system of functions consisting of two Riesz bases of the space L2[(0,1) × (0,1)], obtained from eigenfunctions and associated functions of the spectral problem and its adjoint problem, is used to represent the solution of the inverse problem. Using the properties of the biorthogonal system of functions, we show the existence and uniqueness of the solution of the inverse problem and its continuous dependence on the data.
