We study in this article the compressible heat-conducting Navier-Stokes equations in periodic domain driven by a time-periodic external force. The existence of the strong time-periodic solution is established by a new approach. First, we reformulate the system and consider some decay estimates of the linearized system.Under some smallness and symmetry assumptions on the external force, the existence of the time-periodic solution of the linearized system is then identi?ed as the ?xed point of a Poincare′ map which is obtained by the Tychonoff ?xed point theorem.Although the Tychonoff ?xed point theorem cannot directly ensure the uniqueness,but we could construct a set-valued function, the ?xed point of which is the timeperiodic solution of the original system. At last, the existence of the ?xed point is obtained by the Kakutani ?xed point theorem. In addition, the uniqueness of timeperiodic solution is also studied.  相似文献

In this article, a novel fixed point theorem in C[0,1] space is established by using the properties of fixed point index. This theorem is then applied to prove the existence of positive solutions for three-point boundary value problems and generalizes some previous results.  相似文献

Based on the isomorphism between the space of star-shaped sets and the space of continuous positively homogeneous real-valued functions, the star-shaped differential of a directionally differentiable function is defined. Formulas for star-shaped differential of a pointwise maximum and a pointwise minimum of a finite number of directionally differentiable functions, and a composite of two directionaUy differentiable functions are derived. Furthermore, the mean-value theorem for a directionaUy differentiable function is demonstrated.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the existence, uniqueness, comparison and dynamics problem of a functional reaction-diffusion problem. The existence and uniqueness of the global C1,2 strong solution to the problem is derived using Schauder fixed point theorem in Banach space instead of the Ascoli-Arzela theorem in the unbounded region, meanwhile, the maximal and minimal solutions are also presented by the monotone iteration method with a pair of supper and lower solutions as the initial iteration.  相似文献

Using non-linear connection of Finsler manifold M, the existence of local coordinates which is normalized at a point x is proved, and the Laplace operator A on 1-form of M is defined by non-linear connection and its curvature tensor. After proving the maximum principle theorem of Hopf-Bochner on M, the Bochner type vanishing theorem of Killing vectors and harmonic 1-form are obtained.  相似文献

This article deals with a new fractional nonlinear delay evolution system driven by a hemi-variational inequality in a Banach space.Utilizing the KKM theorem,a result concerned with the upper semicontinuity and measurability of the solution set of a hemivariational inequality is established.By using a fixed point theorem for a condensing setvalued map,the nonemptiness and compactness of the set of mild solutions are also obtained for such a system under mild conditions.Finally,an example is presented to illustrate our main results.  相似文献

In this paper, we construct a scattered Cantor set having the value 1/2 of log2/log3- dimensional Hausdorff measure. Combining a theorem of Lee and Baek, we can see the value 21 is the minimal Hausdorff measure of the scattered Cantor sets, and our result solves a conjecture of Lee and Baek.  相似文献

As a powerful mechanism, fixed point theorems have many applications in mathematical and economic analysis. In this paper, the well-known Brouwer fixed point theorem and Kakutani fixed point theorem are generalized to a class of nonconvex sets and a globally convergent homotopy method is developed for computing fixed points on this class of nonconvex sets.  相似文献

In this article, we deal with some computational aspects of geodesic convex sets. Motzkin-type theorem, Radon-type theorem, and Helly-type theorem for geodesic convex sets are shown. In particular, given a finite collection of geodesic convex sets in a simple polygon and an “oracle,” which accepts as input three sets of the collection and which gives as its output an intersection point or reports its nonexistence; we present an algorithm for finding an intersection point of this collection.  相似文献

A pure strategy Nash equilibrium point existence theorem is established for a class ofn-person games with possibly nonacyclic (e.g. disconnected) strategy sets. The principal tool used in the proof is a Lefschetz fixed point theorem for multivalued maps, due to Eilenberg and Montgomery, which extends their better known. Eilenberg-Montgomery fixed point theorem (EMT) [Eilenberg/Montgomery, Theorem 1, p. 215] to nonacyclic spaces. Special cases of the existence theorem are also discussed.  相似文献

Based on a study of a minimization problem, we present the following results applicable to possibly nonconvex sets in a Banach space: an approximate projection result, an extended extremal principle, a nonconvex separation theorem, a generalized Bishop-Phelps theorem and a separable point result. The aim of this paper is to present separation theorems for two disjoint closed sets, without convexity condition. First, a separation theorem for a given closed cone and a point outside from this cone, is proved and then it is used to prove a separation theorem for two disjoint sets. Illustrative examples are provided to highlight the important aspects of these theorems.
