The simplicial algorithm is a kind of branch-and-bound method for computing a globally optimal solution of a convex maximization problem. Its convergence under the ω-subdivision strategy was an open question for some decades until Locatelli and Raber proved it (J Optim Theory Appl 107:69–79, 2000). In this paper, we modify their linear programming relaxation and give a different and simpler proof of the convergence. We also develop a new convergent subdivision strategy, and report numerical results of comparing it with existing strategies.  相似文献

The natural language computing today demands for the study of ω-languages. Therefore in this respect it is convenient to consider fuzzy ω-languages. In this paper, the concept of fuzzy local ω-language, Büchi fuzzy local ω-language, and some closure properties of fuzzy local ω-languages are presented. We introduce deterministic fuzzy finite automaton with different acceptance mode on fuzzy ω-languages and establish the relationship between these various classes of fuzzy ω-languages. We have defined deterministic fuzzy local automaton and also establish relationships between deterministic fuzzy local automaton, fuzzy local ω-language and Büchi fuzzy local ω-language. Further we show that every fuzzy regular ω-language is a projection of a Büchi fuzzy local ω-language.  相似文献

The investigation of U-ample ω-semigroups is initiated. After obtaining some properties of such semigroups, a structure of U-ample ω-semigroups is established. It is proved that a semigroup is a U-ample ω-semigroup if and only if it can be expressed by WBR(T, 0), namely, the weakly Bruck-Reilly extensions of a monoid T. This result not only extends and amplifies the structure theorem of bisimple inverse ω-semigroups given by N. R. Reilly, but also generalizes the structure theorem of ,-bisimple type A ω-semigroups given by U. Asibong-Ibe in 1985.  相似文献

Let R (C) T be an extension of commutative rings. T is called ω-linked over R if T as an R-module is a ω-module. In the case of R (C) T (C) Q0(R), T is called a ω-linked overring of R. As a generalization of Wang-McCsland-Park-Chang Theorem, we show that if R is a reduced ring, then R is a ω-Noetherian ring with ω-dim(R) ≤1 if and only if each ω-linked overring T of R is a ω-Noetherian ring with ω-dim(T) ≤ 1. In particular, R is a ω-Noetherian ring with ω-dim(R) = 0 if and only if R is an Artinian ring.  相似文献

Let be a property (or, equivalently, a class) of topological spaces. A space X is called -bounded if every subspace of X with (or in) has compact closure. Thus, countable-bounded has been known as ω-bounded and (σ-compact)-bounded as strongly ω-bounded. Given a real (finite-dimensional or infinite-dimensional) Hilbert space H with a Jordan product, we introduce the concepts of ω-unique and ω-P properties for linear transformations on H, and investigate some interconnections among these concepts. In particular, we discuss the ω-unique and ω-P properties for Lyapunov-like transformations on H. The properties of the Jordan product and the Lorentz cone in the Hilbert space play important roles in our analysis.  相似文献

An n ×nω-circulant matrix which has a specific structure is a type of important matrix. Several norm equalities and inequalities are proved for ω-circulant operator matrices with ω = eiθ (0 ≤ θ < 2π) in this paper. We give the special cases for norm equalities and inequalities, such as the usual operator norm and the Schatten p-norms. Pinching type inequality is also proposed for weakly unitarily invariant norms. Meanwhile, we present that the set of ω-circulant matrices with complex entries has an idempotent basis. Based on this basis, we introduce an automorphism on the ω-circulant algebra and then show different operators on linear vector space that are isomorphic to the ω-circulant algebra. The function properties, other idempotent bases and a linear involution are discussed for ω-circulant algebra. These results are closely related to the special structure of ω-circulant matrices.  相似文献
