本文利用概率方法讨论了关于Riemann Zeta函数ζ(i)的卷积∑k-2 i=2ζ(k-i),k≥4, Euler证明了这个卷积与级数∑n≥1 Hn/nk-1有关,使用Stirling展开我们发现了一个新的不同的结果．

On Variation of Single Birth Processes

Suppose {X（t）; t≥ 0} is a single birth process with birth rate qii＋l （i 〉 0） and death rate qij （i 〉 j ≥ 0）. It is proved in this paper that （i） if there exists aconstant c≥ 0 such that b（i）-a（i）＋ci is nondecreasing with respect to i and a（i） ＋ u（i） - ci ≥ 0 （i≥ 0）, then VarX（t）-EX（t）≥-X（0）e^-2ct,t≥0, or （ii） if there exists a constant u（i） - c≥ 0 such that b（i）-a（i）＋ci is non-increasing with respect to i and a（i）＋u（i）-ci≤0（i≥0）,then VarX（t） - EX（t） ≤ -X（0）e^-2c,t ≥ 0 Hereb（i） = qii＋1, a（0） = 0, a（i） = ∑j=^ijqii-j （i≥ 1）, u（0） = u（1） =0 and u（i） = 1/2∑j=^ij（j - 1）qii-j （i ≥ 2） . This result covers the results for birth-death processes obtained in [7].     

一类条件不等式证明方法的改进

文[1]对“在xi＞0,i=1,2,3…,n,且∑i=1^n xi=m的条件下，欲证不等式∑i=1^ng（xi）≤k（≥k）成立”这类不等式的证明给出一个通用证法，读罢此文，颇受启发！     

一道不等式问题的探源、证明与推广

《数学教学》2012年第12期的数学问题874为：题目 已知 m,n∈N＋,m,n≥2,xi∈R＋（i=1,2,…,m）,（^m∑i=1）xi=S,n∈N＋,求证：（^m∑i=1）^n√xi/S-xi≥.看完此题,笔者不禁想起了文[1]中的不等式：题源1已知a,b,c为正数,求证：√a/（b＋c）＋√b/（c＋a）＋√c/（a＋b）〉2。     

关于一个不等式猜想的否定

本刊文[1]对文[2]中的第一个不等式给予推广，对第二个不等式的推广提出一个猜想：设xi〉0（i=1，2，3，…，n），n∑i=1xi=1.则n∏i=1（1/1-xi＋xi）≥（n/n-1＋1/n）^n.     

一个不等式的逆向

文[1]证明了文[2]提出的一个猜想:说ai≥0,pi≥0,(i=1,2,…,n)且p1 p2 … pn=1,则n∑i=1piai≥n∏i=1aipi.本文将给出上述不等式的一个逆向不等式,从而得出一个不等式组.命题设ai>0,pi≥0(i=1,2,…,n),且p1 p2 … pn=1,则1∑ni=1piai≤n∏i=1aipi≤n∑i=1piai.证为了使命题证明     

On the weighted elliptic problems involving multi-singular potentials and multi-critical exponents

Suppose Ω belong to R^N（N≥3） is a smooth bounded domain,ξi∈Ω,0〈ai〈√μ,μ：=（（N-1）/2）^2,0≤μi〈（√μ-ai）^2,ai〈bi〈ai＋1 and pi：=2N/N-2（1＋ai-bi）are the weighted critical Hardy-Sobolev exponents, i = 1, 2,..., k, k ≥ 2. We deal with the conditions that ensure the existence of positive solutions to the multi-singular and multi-critical elliptic problem ∑i=1^k（-div（｜x-ξi｜^-2ai△↓u）-μiu/｜x-ξi｜^2（1＋ai）-u^pi-1/｜x-ξi｜^bipi）=0with Dirichlet boundary condition, which involves the weighted Hardy inequality and the weighted Hardy-Sobolev inequality. The results depend crucially on the parameters ai, bi and #i, i -- 1, 2,..., k.

Existence of three HMOLS of type 2<Superscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">n</Emphasis></Superscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">u</Emphasis><Superscript>1</Superscript>

A Latin squares of order v with ni missing sub-Latin squares （holes） of order hi （1 〈= i 〈 k）, which are disjoint and spanning （i.e. ∑k i=l1 nihi = v）, is called a partitioned incomplete Latin squares and denoted by PILS. The type of PILS is defined by （h1n1 h2n2…hknk ）. If any two PILS inaset of t PILS of type T are orthogonal, then we denote the set by t-HMOLS（T）. It has been proved that 3-HMOLS（2n31） exist for n ≥6 with 11 possible exceptions. In this paper, we investigate the existence of 3-HMOLS（2nu1） with u ≥ 4, and prove that 3-HMOLS（2~u1） exist if n ≥ 54 and n ≥7/4u ＋ 7.

FRACTIONAL INTEGRALS OF THE WEIERSTRASS FUNCTIONS： THE EXACT BOX DIMENSION

The present paper investigates the fractal structure of fractional integrals of Weierstrass functions. The ezact box dimension for such functions many important cases is established. We need to point out that, although the result itself achieved in the present paper is interesting, the new technique and method should be emphasized. These novel ideas might be useful to establish the box dimension or Hausdorff dimension (especially for the lower bounds) for more general groups of functions.

Congruences,ideals and annihilators in standard QBCC-algebras

A decomposition of continuity via ideals

A new class of sets in ideal topological spaces is introduced and using these sets, a decomposition of continuity is given.      

When a compact (countably compact) set is closed. II

We obtain (a) necessary and sufficient conditions and (b) sufficient conditions for a compact (countably compact) set to be closed in products (sequential products) and subspaces (sequential subspaces) of normal spaces. As a consequence of these, sufficient conditions are obtained for (i) the closedness of arbitrary (countable) union of closed sets and (ii) the equality of the union of the closures and the closure of the union of arbitrary (countable) families of sets in these spaces. It is also shown that these results do not hold for quotients of even T ₄,-spaces.
