抽象半线性发展方程初值问题解的存在性

本文研究Banach空间E中具有非紧半群的半线性发展方程初值问题u′(t)+Au(t)=f(t,u(t)),t≥0;u(0)=x_0解的存在性,其中-A为E中等度连续C_0-半群的生成元,f:[0,∞)×E→E连续。在f满足较弱的非紧性测度条件下,获得了该问题饱和mild解的存在性。特别,当E为有序弱序列完备Banach空间时,我们获得了一个不需要非紧性测度条件的便于应用的存在性结果。

在一般Banach空间中,作者讨论了微分方程的初值问题u=f(t,u),u(0)=x0.在比文[6]中弱Carathodory条件更弱的情况下,不仅放宽了[6]中的一个重要不等式条件,还去掉了另一与之相关的不等式限制,仍获得了初值问题解的存在与唯一性及解的迭代逼近.对周期边值问题也获得了类似结果.

七阶非线性色散方程初值问题解的局部和整体存在性

该文研究七阶非线性弱色散方程:∂u/∂t + au(∂u/∂x) +β(∂^3 u/∂x^3) +γ(∂^5 u/∂x^5) + μ(∂^7 u/∂x^7)=0, (x,t)∈R^2的初值问题,通过运用震荡积分衰减估计的最近结果, 首先对相应线性方程的基本解建立了几类Strichartz型估计. 其次, 应用这些估计证明了七阶非线性弱色散方程初值问题解的局部与整体存在性和唯一性. 结果表明, 当初值u_0(x)∈H^s(R), s≥2/13 时, 存在局部解; 当s≥1时, 存在整体解.     

方程Utt—△Ut=f（u）的整体解

本文用Galerkin方法研究多维非线性拟双曲方程u_(tt)-Δu_t=f(u)的初边值问题与初值问题的整体广义解的存在性及整体强解的存在和唯一性,得到了与对应的非线性波动方程截然不同的很有意义的结果。这一结果从一个方面充分体现了非线性拟双曲方程与非线性双曲方程根本不同的特征。

Global solutions of initial value problems for nonlinear second-order integro-differential equations of mixed type in Banach spaces

In this paper, the global solutions of initial value problems for nonlinear second-order integro-differential equations of mixed type in Banach spaces are investigated. The existence and uniqueness of solutions and their iterative approximation are obtained by using Mönch fixed point theorem and new comparison results. The results presented here essentially improve, generalize and unify many well-known results.     

Analysis of reaction-diffusion systems by the method of linear determining equations

Exact solutions to two-component systems of reaction-diffusion equations are sought by the method of linear determining equations (LDEs) generalizing the methods of the classical group analysis of differential equations. LDEs are constructed for a system of two second-order evolutionary equations. The results of solving the LDEs are presented for two-component systems of reaction-diffusion equations with polynomial nonlinearities in the diffusion coefficients. Examples of constructing noninvariant solutions are presented for the reaction-diffusion systems that possess invariant manifolds.     

On the suppression of variables in Boolean equations

The resultant of suppression of variables from a Boolean equation is a Boolean equation, derived from the parent equation, whose solutions are exactly those of the parent equation that do not involve the suppressed variables. Two examples in the literature are discussed, in which it is necessary to solve a Boolean equation while excluding solutions involving certain variables. In such cases it would be advantageous to solve the resultant of suppression of those variables rather than solving the original equation and filtering the desired solutions from the results.     

Periodic Solutions of a Model of Mitosis in Prog Eggs

In this paper,we discuss a simplified model of mitosis in frog eggs proposed by M.T. Borisuk and J.J. Tyson in [1]. By using rigorous qualitative analysis, we prove the existence of the periodic solutions on a large scale and present the space region of the periodic solutions and the parameter region coresponding to the periodic solution. We also present the space region and the parameter region where there are no periodic solutions. The results are in accordance with the numerical results in [1] up to the qualitative property.

The method of lower and upper solutions for damped elastic systems in Banach spaces

In this paper, we are concerned with the initial value problem of a class of damped elastic systems in an order Banach spaces $E$. By employing the method of lower and upper solutions, we discuss the existence of extremal mild solutions between lower and upper mild solutions for such problem with the associated semigroup is equicontinuous. In addition, two examples are given to illustrate our results.
