In this paper, the effects of quadratic singular curves in integrable wave equations are studied by using the bifurcation theory of dynamical system. Some new singular solitary waves (pseudo‐cuspons) and periodic waves are found more weak than regular singular traveling waves such as peaked soliton (peakon), cusp soliton (cuspon), cusp periodic wave, etc. We show that while the first‐order derivatives of the new singular solitary wave and periodic waves exist, their second‐order derivatives are discontinuous at finite number of points for the solitary waves or at infinitely countable points for the periodic wave. Moreover, an intrinsic connection is constructed between the singular traveling waves and quadratic singular curves in the phase plane of traveling wave system. The new singular periodic waves, pseudo‐cuspons, and compactons emerge if corresponding periodic orbits or homoclinic orbits are tangent to a hyperbola, ellipse, and parabola. In particular, pseudo‐cuspon is proposed for the first time. Finally, we study the qualitative behavior of the new singular solitary wave and periodic wave solutions through theoretical analysis and numerical simulation.  相似文献

We consider the fully parity‐time (PT) symmetric nonlocal (2 + 1)‐dimensional nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) equation with respect to x and y. By using Hirota's bilinear method, we derive the N‐soliton solutions of the nonlocal NLS equation. By using the resulting N‐soliton solutions and employing long wave limit method, we derive its nonsingular rational solutions and semi‐rational solutions. The rational solutions act as the line rogue waves. The semi‐rational solutions mean different types of combinations in rogue waves, breathers, and periodic line waves. Furthermore, in order to easily understand the dynamic behaviors of the nonlocal NLS equation, we display some graphics to analyze the characteristics of these solutions.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the traveling wave solutions for a complex short-pulse equation of both focusing and defocusing types, which governs the propagation of ultrashort pulses in nonlinear optical fibers. It can be viewed as an analog of the nonlinear Schrodinger (NLS) equation in the ultrashort-pulse regime. The corresponding traveling wave systems of the equivalent complex short-pulse equations are two singular planar dynamical systems with four singular straight lines. By using the method of dynamical systems, bifurcation diagrams and explicit exact parametric representations of the solutions are given, including solitary wave solution, periodic wave solution, peakon solution, periodic peakon solution and compacton solution under different parameter conditions.  相似文献

In this paper, the qualitative analysis methods of a dynamical system are used to investigate the peakon soliton solutions of K(2;-2; 4) equation: ut + a(u2)x + b[u-2(u4)xx]x = 0. The phase portrait bifurcation of the traveling wave system corresponding to the equation is given. The explicit expressions of the peakon soliton solutions are obtained by using the portraits. The graph of the solutions are given with the numerical simulation. This supplements the results obtained in [4].  相似文献

By using the method of dynamical systems to Mikhailov-Novikov-Wang Equation, through qualitative analysis, we obtain bifurcations of phase portraits of the traveling system of the derivative $\phi(\xi)$ of the wave function $\psi(\xi)$. Under different parameter conditions, for $\phi(\xi)$, exact explicit solitary wave solutions, periodic peakon and anti-peakon solutions are obtained. By integrating known $\phi(\xi)$, nine exact explicit traveling wave solutions of $\psi(\xi)$ are given.  相似文献

By using the method of dynamical systems, for the nonlinear surface wind waves equation, which is given by Manna, we study its dynamical behavior to determine all exact explicit traveling wave solutions. To guarantee the existence of the aforementioned solutions, all parameter conditions are determined. Our procedure shows that the nonlinear surface wind waves equation has no peakon solution. The Hirota bilinear method is prepared for searching the diverse soliton solutions for the fractional generalized Calogero‐Bogoyavlenskii‐Schiff‐Bogoyavlensky‐Konopelchenko (CBS‐BK) equation. Also, the Hirota bilinear method is used to finding the lump and interaction with two stripe soliton solutions. Interaction among lumps, periodic waves, and multi‐kink soliton solutions will be investigated. Also, the solitary wave, periodic wave, and cross‐kink wave solutions will be examined for the fractional gCBS‐BK equation. The graphs for various fractional order α are plotted to contain 3D plot, contour plot, density plot, and 2D plot. We construct the exact lump and interaction among other types solutions, by solving the under‐determined nonlinear system of algebraic equations for the associated parameters. Finally, analysis and graphical simulation are presented to show the dynamical characteristics of our solutions and the interaction behaviors are revealed. The existence conditions are employed to discuss the available got solutions.  相似文献

In this paper we employ two recent analytical approaches to investigate the possible classes of traveling wave solutions of some members of a recently-derived integrable family of generalized Camassa–Holm (GCH) equations. A recent, novel application of phase-plane analysis is employed to analyze the singular traveling wave equations of three of the GCH NLPDEs, i.e. the possible non-smooth peakon and cuspon solutions. One of the considered GCH equations supports both solitary (peakon) and periodic (cuspon) cusp waves in different parameter regimes. The second equation does not support singular traveling waves and the last one supports four-segmented, non-smooth M-wave solutions. Moreover, smooth traveling waves of the three GCH equations are considered. Here, we use a recent technique to derive convergent multi-infinite series solutions for the homoclinic orbits of their traveling-wave equations, corresponding to pulse (kink or shock) solutions respectively of the original PDEs. We perform many numerical tests in different parameter regime to pinpoint real saddle equilibrium points of the corresponding GCH equations, as well as ensure simultaneous convergence and continuity of the multi-infinite series solutions for the homoclinic orbits anchored by these saddle points. Unlike the majority of unaccelerated convergent series, high accuracy is attained with relatively few terms. We also show the traveling wave nature of these pulse and front solutions to the GCH NLPDEs.  相似文献

The singular traveling wave solutions of a general 4-parameter family equation which unifies the Camass-Holm equation, the Degasperis-Procesi equation and the Novikov equation are investigated in this paper. At first, we obtain the explicit peakon solutions for one of its specific case that $a=(p+2)c$, $b=(p+1)c$ and $c=1$, which is referred to a generalized Camassa-Holm-Novikov (CHN) equation, by reducing it to a second-order ordinary differential equation (ODE) and solving its associated first-order integrable ODE. By observing the characteristics of peakon solutions to the CHN equation, we construct the peakon solutions for the general 4-parameter breaking wave equation. It reveals that singularities of the peakon solutions come up only when the solutions attain singular points of the equation, which might be a universal principal for all singular traveling wave solutions for wave breaking equations.  相似文献

A consistent Riccati expansion (CRE) is proposed to solve the (2+1)‐dimensional modified dispersive water‐wave (MDWW) system. It is proved that the MDWW system is CRE solvable. Furthermore, new exact interaction solutions, namely, soliton‐trigonometric waves, trigonometric waves‐soliton, soliton‐cosine periodic waves, and soliton‐cnoidal waves are explicitly derived.  相似文献

The effects of parabola singular curves in the integrable nonlinear wave equation are studied by using the bifurcation theory of dynamical system. We find new singular periodic waves for a nonlinear wave equation from short capillary-gravity waves. The new periodic waves possess weaker singularity than the periodic peakon. It is shown that the second derivatives of the new singular periodic wave solutions do not exist in countable number of points but the first derivatives exist. We show that there exist close connection between the new singular periodic waves and parabola singular curve in phase plane of traveling wave system for the first time.  相似文献

Travelling wave solutions for the general modified CH-DP equation ut − uxxt + αu2ux − βuxuxx = uuxxx are developed. By using the dynamical system method, a peakon and a dark soliton are found to coexist for the same wave speed. Exact explicit blow-up solutions are given. By using numerical simulation, a loop solution for a special case is discussed.  相似文献

We establish a two‐wave mode equation for the integrable Kadomtsev–Petviashvili equation, which describes the propagation of two different wave modes in the same direction simultaneously. We determine the necessary conditions that make multiple soliton solutions exist for this new equation. The simplified Hirota's method will be used to conduct this work. We also use other techniques to obtain other set of periodic and singular solutions for the two‐mode Kadomtsev‐Petviashvili equation. Copyright © 2017 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate a (3+1)‐dimensional Boiti‐Leon‐Manna‐Pempinelli equation (3D‐BMLP). By using bilinear forms under certain conditions, we obtain different wave structures for the 3D‐BMLP. Among these waves, lump waves, breather waves, mixed waves, and multi‐soliton wave solutions are constructed. The propagation and the dynamical behavior of the obtained solutions are discussed for different values of the free parameters.  相似文献

Nonlocal reverse space‐time Sine/Sinh‐Gordon type equations were recently introduced. They arise from a remarkably simple nonlocal reduction of the well‐known AKNS scattering problem, hence, they constitute an integrable evolution equations. Furthermore, the inverse scattering transform (IST) for rapidly decaying data was also constructed. In this paper, the IST for these novel nonlocal equations corresponding to nonzero boundary conditions (NZBCs) at infinity is presented. The NZBC problem is more complex due to the intricate branching structure of the associated linear eigenfunctions. Two cases are analyzed, which correspond to two different values of the phase at infinity. Special soliton solutions are discussed and explicit 1‐soliton and 2‐soliton solutions are found. Both spatially independent and spatially dependent boundary conditions are considered.  相似文献

The travelling wave solutions of a generalized Camassa-Holm-Degasperis-Procesi equation ut-uxxt + (1 + b)umux = buxuxx + uuxxx are considered where b > 1 and m are positive integers. The qualitative analysis methods of planar autonomous systems yield its phase portraits. Its soliton wave solutions, kink or antikink wave solutions, peakon wave solutions, compacton wave solutions, periodic wave solutions and periodic cusp wave solutions are obtained. Some numerical simulations of these solutions are also give...  相似文献

It has been found that some nonlinear wave equations have one-loop soliton solutions. What is the dynamical behavior of the so-called one-loop soliton solution? To answer this question, the travelling wave solutions for four nonlinear wave equations are discussed. Exact explicit parametric representations of some special travelling wave solutions are given. The results of this paper show that a loop solution consists of three different breaking travelling wave solutions. It is not one real loop soliton travelling wave solution.  相似文献

In this paper, we study Raman soliton model in nanoscale optical waveguides with metamaterials, having polynomial law non-linearity. By using the bifurcation theory method of dynamical systems to the equations of $\phi(\xi)$, under 24 different parameter conditions, we obtain bifurcations of phase portraits and different traveling wave solutions including periodic solutions, homoclinic and heteroclinic solutions for planar dynamical system of the Raman soliton model. Under different parameter conditions, 24 exact explicit parametric representations of the traveling wave solutions are derived. The dynamic behavior of these traveling wave solutions are meaningful and helpful for us to understand the physical structures of the model.  相似文献

In this paper, the traveling wave solutions for a generalized Camassa-Holm equation $u_t-u_{xxt}=\frac{1}{2}(p+1)(p+2)u^pu_x-\frac{1}{2}p(p-1)u^{p-2}u_x^3-2pu^{p-1}u_xu_{xx}-u^pu_{xxx}$ are investigated. By using the bifurcation method of dynamical systems, three major results for this equation are highlighted. First, there are one or two singular straight lines in the two-dimensional system under some different conditions. Second, all the bifurcations of the generalized Camassa-Holm equation are given for $p$ either positive or negative integer. Third, we prove that the corresponding traveling wave system of this equation possesses peakon, smooth solitary wave solution, kink and anti-kink wave solution, and periodic wave solutions.  相似文献
