Summary The local homogeneity property is defined as in [Mak]. We show thatL (Q1) and some related logics do not have the local homogeneity property, whereas cofinality logicL (Q cf) has the homogeneity property. Both proofs use forcing and absoluteness arguments.  相似文献

We describe the evolution of boundary interpolation sets between the disk-algebra and Hölder spaces of analytic functions. For the disk-algebra, interpolation sets are sets of zero measure, while for Hölder spaces of order , interpretation sets are porous. For the Hölder-type classes corresponding to a continuity modulus , a necessary condition for free interpolation turns into a certain condition of -porosity. Any set of zero measure is -porous for some . We establish a Muckenhoupt-type estimate; such estimates may be useful in the proof of sufficiency of -porosity conditions. Given a symmetric polynomial (x, y) over a perfect field k of characteristic zero, the Galois graph G() is defined by taking the algebraic closure as the vertex set and adjacencies corresponding to the zeroes of (x, y). Some graph properties of G(), such as lengths of walks, distances and cycles are described in terms of . Symmetry is also considered, relating the Galois group Gal( /k) to the automorphism group of certain classes of Galois graphs. We give concrete versions of the characterizations of locally -presentable (resp. -generated) categories as categories of models of (resp. weakly) -ary limit-theories and of (resp. weakly) -ary essentially algebraic theories. By concrete we mean that starting with a category of -structures, the theories obtained are extensions of the original ones, and the equivalences of categories are concrete isomorphisms. -presentable and -generated objects are also investigated from this viewpoint.  相似文献

Summary Extending the method of [27], we prove that the corrlation length of independent bond percolation models exhibits mean-field type critical behaviour (i.e. (p(p c p)–1/2 aspp c ) in two situations: i) for nearest-neighbour independent bond percolation models on ad-dimensional hypercubic lattice d , withd sufficiently large, and ii) for a class of spread-out independent bond percolation models, which are believed to belong to the same universality class as the nearest-neighbour model, in more than six dimensions. The proof is based on, and extends, a method developed in [27], where it was used to prove the triangle condition and hence mean-field behaviour of the critical exponents , , , and 2 for the above two cases.  相似文献

The non-commutative torus C *(n,) is realized as the C*-algebra of sections of a locally trivial C*-algebra bundle over S with fibres isomorphic to C *n/S, 1) for a totally skew multiplier 1 on n/S. D. Poguntke [9] proved that A is stably isomorphic to C(S) C(*( Zn/S, 1) C(S) A Mkl( C) for a simple non-commutative torus A and an integer kl. In this paper we study the analytic classification of class of differential equations =ydy+...=O in (2,0). We prove that generically they are rigid. We also give the moduli spaces in special cases.

In this paper we consider various conditions on D and f sufficient for existence of an -periodic solution of the differential equation u=f(t,u). In the main, we shall assume that D is closed bounded and convex and f satisfies a boundary condition at D such that D is flow invariant for u=f(t,u). This article deals with ultra-differentiable functions in the sense of A. Beurling. Quasi-analytic classes, in particular the real analytic, are included. A function f is shown to be -ultra-differentiable in the neighbourhood of a compact set K if and only if f can be approximated with a certain speed by holomorphic functions of exponential type n or polynomials of degree n for n. Gesztesy and Simon recently have proven the existence of the strong resolvent limit A, for A, = A + (·), where A is a self-adjoint positive operator, being the A-scale). In the present note it is remarked that the operator A, also appears directly as the Friedrichs extension of the symmetric operator :=A \{f (A)| f,=0\}. It is also shown that Krein's resolvents formula: (A_b,-z)-1 =(A-z)-1+ (·, ) z, with b=b-(1+z) (z,-1),z= (A-z)-1 defines a self-adjoint operator Ab, for each and b R1.
