广义DEA是一种基于决策单元和非决策单元自由选择参考集的扩展DEA模型.传统DEA模型的最优解大多是由线性规划随机计算的,未能充分考虑投入和产出指标的重要程度.将投入和产出指标的决策者偏好引入到广义DEA模型约束条件中,首先定义投入和产出指标偏好矩阵,再将该矩阵纳入广义DEA模型的约束条件,构建了带投入和产出指标偏好的广义DEA模型(GDEA-IP).接下来给出决策单元GDEA-IP有效性与评价指标的量纲选择无关性的证明,以及决策单元为GDEA-IP弱有效和有效的理论证明.算例分析说明GDEA-IP模型的有效性,通过和其它经典模型的对比分析,进一步说明该模型比广义DEA模型具有更大的灵活性和通用性,拓展了DEA方法的理论研究.  相似文献

对链式网络DEA模型进行推广,将"偏好锥"引入网络DEA模型.针对中间产出重要性以及决策者评价时的偏好,建立带有产出锥和投入锥相应的两阶段生产可能集,对具有"偏好锥"的链式网络DEA模型,证明了决策单元为网络DEA有效的充要条件,给出了网络DEA有效性与各阶段弱DEA有效性的关系.另外,文章结合具体算例说明了偏好锥的变化对效率评价的影响.关于两阶段的模型以及相关结论可以推广到多阶段网络结构.  相似文献

数据包络分析(DEA)是评价系统相对有效性的分析方法,网络DEA模型在评价企业的经济效益、管理效益等实际问题中有着广泛的应用.在网络DEA模型的基础上考虑非期望产出要素,提出了具有非期望产出的混联网络DEA模型.研究了新模型的系统弱DEA有效与各子阶段弱DEA有效之间的关系,找到了无效决策单元的无效阶段,通过有针对性的改进能够提高系统的整体效率.最后通过数值算例验证了模型的可行性.  相似文献

鉴于传统DEA模型无法区分有效决策单元,超效率DEA模型未考虑决策者的偏好,现提出面向输出的权重受限的综合超效率DEA模型及其投影概念,并讨论该模型与其他超效率DEA模型之间的关系.接着,分析模型的最优目标函数值与决策单元有效性之间的关系,并讨论面向输出的权重受限的综合超效投影与多目标规划问题的非支配解之间的关系.最后,通过对中国西部12个地区工业企业科技创新效率综合评价,并与原有方法进行比较研究,得出本文方法更具优势和合理性.  相似文献

数据包络分析已经被广泛应用于研究中国各省市的能源与环境效率.在以前研究文献中,模拟弱可处置性建模时,隐含的假设所有决策单元采用统一均匀的减少系数.但是在实际生产过程中,面对边际减排成本最低的决策单元,减少非期望产出,也通常会带来成本效益,而且决策者也往往更倾向于减少那些带来成本效益更低的决策单元.因此,为解决这一实际问题,引进不同决策单元的非期望产出采用非均匀比例减少的基础上,考虑非能源投入和能源投入的划分,来构建评估中国各个省市能源和环境效率的生产可能集,然后利用改善的DEA模型计算2016年中国其中30个省市的能源与环境效率.结果表明,我国不同区域,相同区域不同省市之间的能源与环境效率都存在着较大差异.  相似文献

将非期望产出作为投入应用到传统DEA模型上,解决了非期望产出生产活动的效率评价问题.结合生产可能集,将非期望产出直接反映到生产可能集中,建立了基于投入导向的径向和非径向两种DEA模型.并对两种DEA模型效率值的大小关系、相对有效性的等价性问题进行了证明,指出非径向DEA模型更能准确的实现效率定量评价.  相似文献

广义DEA方法是一种相对效率评价方法,解决了决策单元相对于任意参考系(样本单元集)的效率比较问题.在实际中,有时评价标准是确定的,决策单元的生产具有不确定性,有必要在进行生产之前基于确定性样本单元对随机性决策单元进行相对效率评价.为了解决这个问题,研究样本单元为确定值,决策单元为随机变量的广义DEA模型,分别通过期望值和机会约束将随机模型转化为确定性规划,给出决策单元GEDEA有效和GCDEA有效的概念,GEDEA有效与多目标规划Pareto有效关系,以及利用移动因子对决策单元进行有效性排序方法.  相似文献

利用基于BC~2模型的只有输出的DEA模型(D-BC_O~2)来评价决策单元的有效性时,得到的效率值有时会与定性分析存在一定的差异.为了解决这类问题,引入只有产出的广义DEA模型(DG-BC_O~2),并利用聚类分析方法确定样本单元集,给出(DG_(cluster)模型来评价决策单元的有效性.最后通过2009年中国各省市人均经济发展数据进行演示,说明利用聚类分析方法确定样本单元集具有一定的可行性.  相似文献

In this paper, a directional distance approach is proposed to deal with network DEA problems in which the processes may generate not only desirable final outputs but also undesirable outputs. The proposed approach is applied to the problem of modelling and benchmarking airport operations. The corresponding network DEA model considers two process (Aircraft Movement and Aircraft Loading) with two final outputs (Annual Passenger Movement and Annual Cargo handled), one intermediate product (Aircraft Traffic Movements) and two undesirable outputs (Number of Delayed Flights and Accumulated Flight Delays). The proposed approach has been applied to Spanish airports data for year 2008 comparing the computed directional distance efficiency scores with those obtained using a conventional, single-process directional distance function approach. From this comparison, it can be concluded that the proposed network DEA approach has more discriminatory power than its single-process counterpart, uncovering more inefficiencies and providing more valid results.  相似文献

With an increasing attention on the environment, one of the major research thrusts in Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) based performance evaluation is the undesirable output in the conventional DEA model. There is considerable research published on the undesirable aspects of production outputs. However, the economic implications and the suitability of the DEA models for incorporating the undesirable outputs are less carefully investigated and discussed. In this paper, a comparative study is conducted of typical eco-DEA models to illustrate this issue. We propose a ratio model to evaluate the undesirable as well as the desirable outputs simultaneously. We apply the specially developed model to investigate the impact of production pollutants while conducting the efficiency evaluation in the textile industry of China. The results reveal that the production output-oriented efficiency evaluation can be significantly altered once the environmental aspects are factored into the model.  相似文献

In this paper, the inverse data envelopment analysis (DEA) with the preference of cone constraints will be discussed in a way that in the decision-making units, the undesirable inputs and outputs exist simultaneously. Supposing that the efficiency level does not change, if the unit under assessment increases the level of the desirable outputs and decreases the level of the undesirable outputs, how will it affect the amount of the desirable input level and the undesirable input level? To answer this question, the application of the inverse DEA with preference of cone constraints is suggested. The suggested approach, while maintaining the efficiency level, increases the level of its undesirable input and decreases the level of its desirable input by selection of strongly efficient solutions or some weakly efficient solutions of the multiple objective linear programming (MOLP) model. While maintaining the efficiency level, the suggested approach by selection of strongly efficient solution or some of the weakly efficient solutions of the MOLP model can increase the undesirable input level and decrease the desirable input level. Similarly, the suggested approach can be applied if the decision-making unit increases its undesirable input level and decreases the desirable input level so that the undesirable output level decreases and the desirable output level increases while maintaining the efficiency level. We measure eco-efficiency of an economy by means of an augmented Leontief input–output model extended by constraints for primary inputs. Using a multi-objective optimisation model the eco-efficiency frontier of the economy is generated. The results of these multi-objective optimisation problems define eco-efficient virtual decision making units (DMUs). The eco-efficiency is obtained as a solution of a data envelopment analysis (DEA) model with virtual DMUs defining the potential and a DMU describing the actual performance of the economy. This procedure is then extended to an intertemporal approach in the spirit of the Luenberger productivity indicator. This indicator permits decomposing eco-productivity change into eco-efficiency change and eco-technical change. The indicator is then further decompounded in a way that enables us to examine the contributions of individual production factors, undesirable as well as desirable outputs to eco-productivity change over time. For illustration purposes the proposed model is applied to investigate eco-productivity growth of the Austrian economy.  相似文献

It is well known that super-efficiency data envelopment analysis (DEA) approach can be infeasible under the condition of variable returns to scale (VRS). By extending of the work of Chen (2005), the current study develops a two-stage process for calculating super-efficiency scores regardless whether the standard VRS super-efficiency mode is feasible or not. The proposed approach examines whether the standard VRS super-efficiency DEA model is infeasible. When the model is feasible, our approach yields super-efficiency scores that are identical to those arising from the original model. For efficient DMUs that are infeasible under the super-efficiency model, our approach yields super-efficiency scores that characterize input savings and/or output surpluses. The current study also shows that infeasibility may imply that an efficient DMU does not exhibit super-efficiency in inputs or outputs. When infeasibility occurs, it can be necessary that (i) both inputs and outputs be decreased to reach the frontier formed by the remaining DMUs under the input-orientation and (ii) both inputs and outputs be increased to reach the frontier formed by the remaining DMUs under the output-orientation. China’s rapid development in economy has intensified many problems. One of the most important issues is the problem of environmental pollution. In this paper, a new DEA approach is proposed to measure the environmental efficiency of thermoelectric power plants, considering undesirable outputs. First, we assume that the total amount of undesirable outputs of any particular type is limited and fixed to current levels. In contrast to previous studies, this study requires fixed-sum undesirable outputs. In addition, the common equilibrium efficient frontier is constructed by using different input/output multipliers (or weights) for each different decision making unit (DMU), while previous approaches which considered fixed-sum outputs assumed a common input/output multiplier for all DMUs. The proposed method is applied to measure the environmental efficiencies of 30 thermoelectric power plants in mainland China. Our empirical study shows that half of the plants perform well in terms of environmental efficiency.

Data envelopment analysis (DEA) is a non-parametric approach based on linear programming that has been widely applied for evaluating the relative efficiency of a set of homogeneous decision-making units (DMUs) with multiple inputs and outputs. The original DEA models use positive input and output variables that are measured on a ratio scale, but these models do not apply to the variables in which negative data can appear. However, with the widespread use of interval scale data and undesirable data, the emphasis has been directed towards the simultaneous consideration of the positive and negative data in DEA models. In this paper, using the slacks-based measure, we propose an extended model to evaluate the efficiency of DMUs, even if some variables are measured on an interval scale and some on a ratio scale. Moreover, the extended model allows for the presence of all interval-scale variables, which are capable of taking both negative and positive values.  相似文献

Directional distance function (DDF) is a recognized technique for measuring efficiency while incorporating undesirable outputs. This approach allows for desirable outputs to be expanded while undesirable outputs are contracted simultaneously. A drawback of the DDF approach is that the direction vector to the production boundary is fixed arbitrarily, which may not provide the best efficiency measure. Therefore, this study extends the previous framework of efficiency analysis to introduce a new slacks-based measure of efficiency called the scale directional distance function (SDDF) approach. This new approach determines the optimal direction to the frontier for each unit of analysis and provides dissimilar expansion and contraction factors to achieve a more reasonable eco-efficiency score. This new approach is employed to measure the eco-efficiency of the Malaysian manufacturing sector. In addition, the paper demonstrates the use of the new approach to establish target values for the reduction/expansion of outputs in order for the inefficient DMUs to achieve full eco-efficiency. The results indicate that Melaka, Pulau Pinang, Negeri Sembilan, Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan have attained full eco-efficiency while Terengganu is the least eco-efficient. The overall eco-efficiency of the manufacturing sector in Malaysia is 80.5 % with wide variations across the states.  相似文献

In data envelopment analysis (DEA), efficient decision making units (DMUs) are of primary importance as they define the efficient frontier. The current paper develops a new sensitivity analysis approach for a category DMUs and finds the stability radius for all efficient DMUs. By means of combining some classic DEA models and with the condition that the efficiency scores of efficient DMUs remain unchanged, we are able to determine what perturbations of the data can be tolerated before efficient DMUs become inefficient. Our approach generalizes the conventional sensitivity analysis approach in which the inputs of efficient DMUs increase and their outputs decrease, while the inputs of inefficient DMUs decrease and their outputs increase. We find the maximum quantity of perturbations of data so that all first level efficient DMUs remain at the same level.  相似文献

Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) models with undesirable inputs and outputs have been frequently discussed in DEA literature, e.g., via data transformation. These studies were scatted in the literature, and often confined to some particular applications. In this paper we present a systematic investigation on model building of DEA without transferring undesirable data. We first describe the disposability assumptions and a number of different performance measures in the presence of undesirable inputs and outputs, and then discuss different combinations of the disposability assumptions and the metrics. This approach leads to a unified presentation of several classes of DEA models with undesirable inputs and/or outputs.  相似文献
