Vector Variational Inequality and Vector Pseudolinear Optimization   总被引:7,自引:0,他引:7  
The study of a vector variational inequality has been advanced because it has many applications in vector optimization problems and vector equilibrium flows. In this paper, we discuss relations between a solution of a vector variational inequality and a Pareto solution or a properly efficient solution of a vector optimization problem. We show that a vector variational inequality is a necessary and sufficient optimality condition for an efficient solution of the vector pseudolinear optimization problem.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce the topological pseudomonotonicity to vector valued bifunctions, and derive some existence results for vector equilibrium problems with the corresponding bifunctions topologically pseudomonotone. In a unified approach, existence results for quasimonotone vector equilibrium problems and quasimonotone (multivalued) vector variational inequality problems are derived from an existence result for a scalar equilibrium problem involving two (rather than one) quasimonotone bifunctions. The results in the vector case are not only obtained in a new way, but they are also stronger versions of earlier existence results.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

In this paper, we extend the notion of cyclic antimonotonicity (known for scalar bifunctions) to the vector case, in order to obtain a vectorial equilibrium version of Ekeland's variational principle. We characterize the cyclic antimonotonicity in terms of a suitable approximation from below of the vector bifunction, which allows us to avoid the demanding triangle inequality property, usually required in the literature, when dealing with Ekeland's principle for bifunctions. Furthermore, a result for weak vector equilibria in the absence of convexity assumptions is given, without passing through the existence of approximate solutions.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to extend the so-called perturbation approach in order to deal with conjugate duality for constrained vector optimization problems. To this end we use two conjugacy notions introduced in the past in the literature in the framework of set-valued optimization. As a particular case we consider a vector variational inequality which we rewrite in the form of a vector optimization problem. The conjugate vector duals introduced in the first part allow us to introduce new gap functions for the vector variational inequality. The properties in the definition of the gap functions are verified by using the weak and strong duality theorems.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce the system of generalized vector equilibrium problems which includes as special cases the system of generalized implicit vector variational inequality problems, the system of generalized vector variational and variational-like inequality problems and the system of vector equilibrium problems. By using a maximal element theorem, we establish existence results for a solution of these systems. As an application, we derive existence results for a solution of a more general Nash equilibrium problem for vector-valued functions.  相似文献

We motivate the study of a vector variational inequality by a practical flow equilibrium problem on a network, namely a generalization of the well-known Wardrop equilibrium principle. This paper is intended to study the vector variational inequalities on Hadamard manifolds. Generalized Minty and Stampacchia vector variational inequalities are introduced involving generalized subdifferential. Under strongly geodesic convexity, relations between solutions of these inequalities and a nonsmooth vector optimization problem are established. To illustrate the relationship between a solution of generalized weak Stampacchia vector variational inequality and weak efficiency of a nonsmooth vector optimization problem, a non-trivial example is presented.  相似文献

In this paper, vector complementarity problems are introduced as weak versions of vector variational inequalities in ordered Banach spaces. New dual cones are introduced and proved to be closed. In the sense of efficient point, we prove that the minimal element problem is solvable if a vector variational inequality is solvable; we also prove that any solution of a strong vector variational inequality or positive vector complementarity problem is a solution of the minimal element problem.This work was done while the author was with the Chongqing Institute of Architecture and Engineering, Chongqing, P. In this paper, we give notions of well posedness for a vector optimization problem and a vector variational inequality of the differential type. First, the basic properties of well-posed vector optimization problems are studied and the case of C-quasiconvex problems is explored. Further, we investigate the links between the well posedness of a vector optimization problem and of a vector variational inequality. We show that, under the convexity of the objective function f, the two notions coincide. These results extend properties which are well known in scalar optimization. Communicated by F. In scalar optimization it is well known that a solution of a Minty variational inequality of differential type is a solution of the related optimization problem. This relation is known as “Minty variational principle.” In the vector case, the links between Minty variational inequalities and vector optimization problems were investigated in [F. Giannessi, On Minty variational principle, in: New Trends in Mathematical Programming, Kluwer Academic, Dordrecht, 1997, pp. 93-99] and subsequently in [X.M. Yang, X.Q. Yang, K.L. Teo, Some remarks on the Minty vector variational inequality, J. Optim. Theory Appl. 121 (2004) 193-201]. In these papers, in the particular case of a differentiable objective function f taking values in Rm and a Pareto ordering cone, it has been shown that the vector Minty variational principle holds for pseudoconvex functions. In this paper we extend such results to the case of an arbitrary ordering cone and a nondifferentiable objective function, distinguishing two different kinds of solutions of a vector optimization problem, namely ideal (or absolute) efficient points and weakly efficient points. Further, we point out that in the vector case, the Minty variational principle cannot be extended to quasiconvex functions.  相似文献

In this article, we consider equivalence properties between various kinds of lexicographic variational inequalities. By employing various concepts of monotonicity, we show that the usual sequential variational inequality is equivalent to the direct lexicographic variational inequality or to the dual lexicographic variational inequality. We establish several existence results for lexicographic variational inequalities. Also, we introduce the lexicographic complementarity problem and establish its equivalence with the lexicographic variational inequality. We illustrate our approach by several examples of applications to vector transportation and vector spatial equilibrium problems.  相似文献

Since a look to the present literature shows that the notion of vector equilibrium is not univocally defined, the relationship between vector equilibrium problems and vector variational inequalities deserves a specific analysis, deeper than in the scalar case. We analyse and compare various definitions and clarify how they depend on the modelling of the problem under consideration. Furthermore, we show that at least one vector variational inequality formulation of the problem is possible, which is equivalent to a Wardrop-type equilibrium condition. The analysis is illustrated through the concrete example of a multiclass and multiobjective supply demand network.   相似文献

In this article, we consider the general forms of Stampacchia and Minty type vector variational inequalities for bifunctions and establish the existence of their solutions in the setting of topological vector spaces. We extend these vector variational inequalities for set-valued maps and prove the existence of their solutions in the setting of Banach spaces as well as topological vector spaces. We point out that our vector variational inequalities extend and generalize several vector variational inequalities that appeared in the literature. As applications, we establish some existence results for a solution of the vector optimization problem by using Stampacchia and Minty type vector variational inequalities.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a vector optimization problem involving approximately star-shaped functions. We formulate approximate vector variational inequalities in terms of Fréchet subdifferentials and solve the vector optimization problem. Under the assumptions of approximately straight functions, we establish necessary and sufficient conditions for a solution of approximate vector variational inequality to be an approximate efficient solution of the vector optimization problem. We also consider the corresponding weak versions of the approximate vector variational inequalities and establish various results for approximate weak efficient solutions.  相似文献
