In this article, the authors consider the optimal portfolio on tracking the expected wealth process with liquidity constraints. The constrained optimal portfolio is first formulated as minimizing the cumulate variance between the wealth process and the expected wealth process. Then, the dynamic programming methodology is applied to reduce the whole problem to solving the Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman equation coupled with the liquidity constraint, and the method of Lagrange multiplier is applied to handle the constraint. Finally, a numerical method is proposed to solve the constrained HJB equation and the constrained optimal strategy. Especially, the explicit solution to this optimal problem is derived when there is no liquidity constraint.  相似文献

Kai Lai Chung (1917-2009), a Chinese-born mathematician, a world renowned expert in Probability Theory. He was born in Shanghai, and graduated from South-western Associated University, 1940 in Kunming, and got Ph.D. from Princeton University (USA) in 1947. He had worked many years as a full professor at Math. Dept. of Stanford University (USA) since 1960’s, and became a professor emeritus after his retirement. He made various unforgettable important contributions to Markoff chains as well as to the theory of stochastic processes. He had been the adviser of our JMRE (Journal of Mathematical Research and Exposition) for 29 years, and as a matter of fact, the name of our journal was devised and suggested by him in 1981. Certainly, the passing-away of Chung is really a great loss to the community of Chinese mathematicians and also to the world of probabilists.  相似文献

Multiple change-points estimation for functional time series is studied in this paper. The change-point problem is first transformed into a high-dimensional sparse estimation problem via basis functions. Group least absolute shrinkage and selection operator(LASSO) is then applied to estimate the number and the locations of possible change points. A new method of the reproducing kernel Hilbert space is applied to a twodimensional parabolic inverse source problem with the final overdetermination. The exact and approximate solutions are both obtained in a reproducing kernel space. The approximate solution and its partial derivatives are proved to converge to the exact solution and its partial derivatives, respectively. A technique is proposed to improve some existing methods. Numerical results show that the method is of high precision, and confirm the robustness of our method for reconstructing source parameter.  相似文献

This special issue of the Journal of Applied Analysis and Computation is dedicated to Claude-Michel Brauner on the occasion of his 70th birthday. Claude-Michel Brauner is Emeritus Professor at the university of Bordeaux (IMB) and was Professor at the School of Mathematical Sciences of Xiamen University for eight years. Furthermore, he is corresponding member of the SMAI (french SIAM) for China and has played a significant role in Sino-French cooperation in applied mathematics. In June 9-12, 2017 the Sino-French Conference on Modeling, Mathematical Analysis and Computation was held in Xiamen University to celebrate his 70th birthday. 1977 is the two hundredth anniversary of the death of Johann Heinrich Lambert, a little known but nonetheless intriguing figure in 18th century science. In the general histories of science and mathematics Lambert's contributions are often described piecemeal, with each discovery and invention usually divorced both from the method by which he arrived at it and from the totality of his intellectual endeavour. To the student of optics he is remembered for his cosine law in photometry, to the astronomer for his work on comets, to the meteorologist for his design of a gut hygrometer, and to the mathematician for his work on non-Euclidean geometry and his demonstration of the irrationality of π and e. There is no doubt that each of these contributions had a definite importance of its own; but it is not the aim of the present article to enumerate in this way the high points of Lambert's scientific and mathematical work, rather to describe it for once as a unified whole, and to relate it to the contemporary intellectual outlook.  相似文献

This paper presents an axiomatization of the Shapley value. The balanced cycle contributions property is the key axiom in this paper. It requires that, for any order of all the players, the sum of the claims from each player against his predecessor is balanced with the sum of the claims from each player against his successor. This property is satisfied not only by the Shapley value but also by some other values for TU games. Hence, it is a less restrictive requirement than the balanced contributions property introduced by Myerson (International Journal of Game Theory 9, 169–182, 1980).  相似文献
