Convergence of the q Analogue of Szász-Beta-Stancu Operators

In the present paper, we propose the q analogue of Sz a′sz-Beta-Stancu operators. By estimate the moments, we establish direct results in terms of the modulus of smoothness. Investigate the rate of point-wise convergence and weighted approximation properties of the q operators. Voronovskaja type theorem is also obtained.Our results generalize and supplement some convergence results of the q-Sz a′sz-Beta operators, thus they improve the existing results.     

Gromov Hyperbolicity of Riemann Surfaces

We study the hyperbolicity in the Gromov sense of Riemann surfaces. We deduce the hyperbolicity of a surface from the hyperbolicity of its ＂building block components＂. We also prove the equivalence between the hyperbolicity of a Riemann surface and the hyperbolicity of some graph associated with it. These results clarify how the decomposition of a Riemann surface into Y-pieces and funnels affects the hyperbolicity of the surface. The results simplify the topology of the surface and allow us to obtain global results from local information.     

On the Growth of Components of Meromorphic Solutions of Systems of Complex Differential Equations

This paper investigates the problem of the growth of the components of meromorphic solutions of a class of a system of complex algebraic differential equations, and generalized some of N. Toda＇s results concerning the growth of differential equations to the case of systems of differential equations. The paper considers the existence of admissible solutions of the system of differential equations.     

CQ Method for Generalized Mixed Equilibrium Problem and Fixed Point Problem of Infinite Family of Quasi--asymptotically Nonexpansive Mappings in Banach Spaces

In this paper, we prove a strong convergence theorem for finding a common element of the set of solutions for a generalized mixed equilibrium problems, the set of fixed points of infinite family of quasi- C-asymptotically non-expansive mappings in a Banach space by using the CQ method. Our results improve the main results of Takahashi and Takahashi and Takahashi and Zembayashi. Moreover, the method of proof adopted in the paper is different from that of them.     

Some Properties of Classes of Infinitely Differentiable Functions of Two Variables,

In this paper,we extend the following results to the case of two variables:S.Mandelbrojit'stheorems on the differentiable classes and on the trigonometric classes;H.Cartan's theorems on theclasses of composition and on the equivalence of two classes on a finite interval.All the results in thispaper can be transfered immediately to the case of more than two variables.     

A Note on Ideals of a Three-Dimensional Associative Algebra

In this paper, we shall apply the theory of nilpotent radical to derive some results about ideals of a there-dimensional associative algebra over a field F and of an associative ring of order p~3 where p is a prime. These results are useful in studying the structure of the algebra and the ring.     

Orthogonality of Generalized (θ,φ)-Derivations on Ideals

In this paper,necessary and sufficient conditions concerning the orthogonality and the composition of a couple of generalized (θ,φ)-derivations on a nonzero ideal of a semiprime ring are presented.These results are generalizations of several results of Breˇsar and Vukman,which are related to a theorem of Posner on the product of two derivations on a prime ring.     

Existence and uniqueness of positive solutions of semilinear elliptic equations

This paper is devoted to the study of existence,uniqueness and non-degeneracy of positive solutions of semi-linear elliptic equations.A necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of positive solutions to problems is given.We prove that if the uniqueness and non-degeneracy results are valid for positive solutions of a class of semi-linear elliptic equations,then they are still valid when one perturbs the differential operator a little bit.As consequences,some uniqueness results of positive solutions under the domain perturbation are also obtained.     

The Equivalence of Ishikawa-Mann and Multistep Iterations in Banach Space

Let E be a real Banach space and T be a continuous Φ-strongly accretive operator. By using a new analytical method, it is proved that the convergence of Mann, Ishikawa and three-step iterations are equivalent to the convergence of multistep iteration. The results of this paper extend the results of Rhoades and Soltuz in some aspects.     

On Stability of Solutions of a Certain Fourth—Order Functional Differential Equations

Using a Razumikhin-type theorem,we obtain sufficient conditions for the global asymptoticstability of the zero solution of a certain fourth order functional differential equations.The resultgeneralizes the well known results.

Properties of serial kanban systems

In this paper we show some structural results of a kanban system by using results about the underlying GSMP. The main results from this connection are: dominance of allocations, optimal partition, upper and lower bounds on throughput, consistency of the IPA derivative, convexity of throughput as a function of service time parameters and concavity of throughput with respect to number of kanbans. Although the dominance and the partition results were obtained previously by sample path arguments, the proofs here are less cumbersome and generalize the earlier results. The second-order properties for kanban lines are new. These results form a basis for results in multi-product lines where proofs by sample paths require extensive notation.

Li and Feng gave some basic results on the largest eigenvalue and characteristic polynomial of adjacency matrix of a graph in 1979. In this paper, we translate these results into the signless Laplacian matrix of a graph and obtain the similar results.

On the negative value of information in informationally inefficient markets: Calculations for large number of traders

In informationally inefficient markets, classical decision theory assumes the value of information to be positive. Recent developments, however, contradict this paradigm. Schredelseker [Schredelseker, K., 2001. Is the usefulness approach useful? Some reflections on the utility of public information. In: McLeay, S., Riccaboni, A. (Eds.), Contemporary Issues in Accounting Regulation, Kluwer Academic Publishers, Boston, pp. 135–153] proposed a simulation model wherein a single security is traded among non-cooperating and asymetrically informed traders. One of the main results was the fact that badly informed traders could expect higher returns than traders with more information. But Schredelseker was able to give exact results for a small number of traders only. The aim of this paper is to give reliable results for a sufficiently large number of traders for both the expected gain and the probability of gain larger than zero. We are using combinatorial methods in order to get exact results for badly informed traders and simulation techniques for results of traders with higher level of information. The exact results are used (error between exact results and simulation results for the first traders) to determine the number of samples which have to be drawn with the simulation algorithm.

1981年,1985年,2000年,乔三正、蔡东汉、魏益民分别给出Drazin广义逆不同形式的表示．本文将对上述结果进行推广,给出Drazin广义逆的统一表示,使上述三个结果均成为本文主要结果的特例．在本文主要结果的基础上,利用算子谱理论,给出Drazin广义逆的一种逼近形式的表示,同时给出逼近解的估计．此结果推广了蔡东汉、魏益民的相应结果．     

Degenerations of Representations of Associative Algebras

The purpose of this note is to give a fast introduction to some problems of homological and geometrical nature related to finite-dimensional representations of finitely generated, and especially, finite-dimensional algebras over a field. Some of these results can also be extended to the situation where the field is not algebraically closed, and some of the results can even be extended to the situation where one is considering algebras over a commutative artin ring. For the results which hold true in the most general situation the proofs become most elegant since they depend on using length arguments only and thereby forgetting about the nature of a field altogether. Structure of positive solution sets of sub-linear semi-positone operator equations

In this paper, first we obtain some results on the structure of the positive solution set of a nonlinear operator equation. Then using these results, we obtain some existence results for positive solutions of nonlinear operator equations. We use global bifurcation theories to show our main results.

Sufficient structure conditions for uniqueness of viscosity solutions of semilinear and quasilinear equations

In this article, we introduce a new approach for proving Maximum Principle type results for viscosity solutions of second-order, fully nonlinear possibly degenerate elliptic equations. This approach leads, in particular, to a better understanding of the conditions on the equation which are necessary to obtain such results. It allows us to provide new comparison results for semilinear and quasilinear equations.
