In this paper, the solution of the nonlinear evolution inclusion problem of the form u(t)+B(t,u(t))∋f(t) is studied. In this problem, the operators are of type (M) or type (S+), which are different from those of pseudo-monotone operators that had been studied by many authors. At the same time, we study the perturbation problem. In fact, many kinds of evolution equations can be generalized by this problem. The former results are improved and generalized by our conclusions, and we will give more applications.  相似文献

This work is a continuation of our previous work, in the present paper we study the generalized nonlinear initial-boundary Riemann problem with small BV data for linearly degenerate quasilinear hyperbolic systems of conservation laws with nonlinear boundary conditions in a half space . We prove the global existence and uniqueness of piecewise C1 solution containing only contact discontinuities to a class of the generalized nonlinear initial-boundary Riemann problem, which can be regarded as a small BV perturbation of the corresponding nonlinear initial-boundary Riemann problem, for general n×n linearly degenerate quasilinear hyperbolic system of conservation laws; moreover, this solution has a global structure similar to the one of the self-similar solution to the corresponding nonlinear initial-boundary Riemann problem. Some applications to quasilinear hyperbolic systems of conservation laws arising in the string theory and high energy physics are also given.  相似文献

We discuss exponential asymptotic property of the solution of a parallel repairable system with warm standby under common-cause failure. This system can be described by a group of partial differential equations with integral boundary. First we show that the positive contraction C0-semigroup T(t) [Weiwei Hu, Asymptotic stability analysis of a parallel repairable system with warm standby under common-cause failure, Acta Anal. Funct. Appl. 8 (1) (2006) 5-20] which is generated by the operator corresponding to these equations is a quasi-compact operator. Then by using [Weiwei Hu, Asymptotic stability analysis of a parallel repairable system with warm standby under common-cause failure, Acta Anal. Funct. Appl. 8 (1) (2006) 5-20] that 0 is an eigenvalue of the operator with algebraic index one and the C0-semigroup T(t) is contraction, we conclude that the spectral bound of the operator is zero. By using the above results the exponential asymptotical stability of the time-dependent solution of the system follows easily.  相似文献

The study of Cauchy problem of the Boltzmann equation is important in both theory and applications. Existence of global solutions to the equation and uniform stability of solutions in the absence of external force were introduced in the previous work on the Boltzmann equation. In this paper, we will investigate the uniform stability of solutions in L1 for the Cauchy problem of the Boltzmann equation when there is an external force for the case of soft potentials.  相似文献

In this article k-convex metric spaces are considered where a several variable mapping is provided as a limit point of an iteration scheme based on the midpoint map in the metric space itself. This mapping, considered as a mean of its variables, has some properties which relates it to the center of mass of these variables in the metric space. Sufficient conditions are given here for the two points to be identical, as well as upper bounds on their distances from one another. The asymptotic rate of convergence of the iterative process defining the mean is also determined here. The case of the symmetric space on the convex cone of positive definite matrices related to the geometric mean and the special orthogonal group are also studied here as examples of k-convex metric spaces.  相似文献

Uniform asymptotic formulas are obtained for the Stieltjes-Wigert polynomial, the q−1-Hermite polynomial and the q-Laguerre polynomial as the degree of the polynomial tends to infinity. In these formulas, the q-Airy polynomial, defined by truncating the q-Airy function, plays a significant role. While the standard Airy function, used frequently in the uniform asymptotic formulas for classical orthogonal polynomials, behaves like the exponential function on one side and the trigonometric functions on the other side of an extreme zero, the q-Airy polynomial behaves like the q-Airy function on one side and the q-Theta function on the other side. The last two special functions are involved in the local asymptotic formulas of the q-orthogonal polynomials. It seems therefore reasonable to expect that the q-Airy polynomial will play an important role in the asymptotic theory of the q-orthogonal polynomials.  相似文献

This note is a continuation of a previous article [P. Aiena, M.T. Biondi, Property (w) and perturbations, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 336 (2007) 683-692] concerning the stability of property (w), a variant of Weyl's theorem, for a bounded operator T acting on a Banach space, under finite-dimensional perturbations K commuting with T. A counterexample shows that property (w) in general is not preserved under finite-dimensional perturbations commuting with T, also under the assumption that T is a-isoloid.  相似文献

Let X be a complete CAT(0) space. We prove that, if E is a nonempty bounded closed convex subset of X and a nonexpansive mapping satisfying the weakly inward condition, i.e., there exists pE such that ∀xE, ∀α∈[0,1], then T has a fixed point. In Banach spaces, this is a result of Lim [On asymptotic centers and fixed points of nonexpansive mappings, Canad. J. Math. 32 (1980) 421-430]. We obtain a strong solution in charge critical space L2(R) of the Thirring system and Federbusch equations in one space dimension by using solution representation of the models. The uniqueness is obtained for the solution ΨL([0,T];L2(R)∩L4(R)). A decay of local charge and asymptotic behavior of the field can be shown directly.  相似文献

In 1940 S.M. Ulam proposed the famous Ulam stability problem. In 1941 D.H. Hyers solved the well-known Ulam stability problem for additive mappings subject to the Hyers condition on approximately additive mappings. The first author of this paper investigated the Hyers-Ulam stability of Cauchy and Jensen type additive mappings. In this paper we generalize results obtained for Jensen type mappings and establish new theorems about the Hyers-Ulam stability for general additive functional equations in quasi-β-normed spaces.  相似文献

We present nonlinear functionals measuring physical space variation and L1-distance between two classical solutions for the Boltzmann equation with a cut-off inverse power potential. In the case that initial datum is a small, smooth perturbation of vacuum and decays fast enough in the phase space, we show that these functionals satisfy stability estimates which lead to BV-type estimates and a uniform L1-stability.  相似文献

The present paper is concerned with asymptotic behaviours of the solutions to the micropolar fluid motion equations in R2. Upper and lower bounds are derived for the L2 decay rates of higher order derivatives of solutions to the micropolar fluid flows. In this paper, we address the problem of observer design for a class of Lipschitz nonlinear discrete-time systems with time-delay. The main contribution lies in the use of a new structure of the proposed observer with a novel Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional. Thanks to these designs, new nonrestrictive synthesis conditions, expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), are obtained. Indeed, the obtained LMIs contain more degree of freedom than those established by the approaches available in the literature which consider a simple Luenberger observer with a simple Lyapunov function for the stability analysis. An extension of the presented result to H performance analysis is given in order to take into account the noise (if it exists) affecting the considered system.  相似文献

By a ball-covering B of a Banach space X, we mean that B is a collection of open (or closed) balls off the origin whose union contains the unit sphere SX of X; and X is said to have the ball-covering property (BCP) provided it admits a ball-covering by countably many balls. In this note we give a natural example showing that the ball-covering property of a Banach space is not inherited by its subspaces; and we present a sharp quantitative version of the recent Fonf and Zanco renorming result saying that if the dual X of X is w separable, then for every ε>0 there exist a (1+ε)-equivalent norm on X, and an R>0 such that in this new norm SX admits a ball-covering by countably many balls of radius R. Namely, we show that R=R(ε) can be taken arbitrarily close to (1+ε)/ε, and that for X=?1[0,1] the corresponding R cannot be equal to 1/ε. This gives the sharp order of magnitude for R(ε) as ε→0.  相似文献

Let X be a Banach space and C a bounded, closed, convex subset of X. C is said to have the weak-approximate fixed point property if for any norm-continuous mapping , there exists a sequence {xn} in C such that (xnfn(xn)) converges to 0 weakly. It is known that every infinite-dimensional Banach space with the Schur property does not have the weak-approximate fixed point property. In this article, we show that every Asplund space has the weak-approximate fixed point property. Applications to the asymptotic fixed point theory are given.  相似文献

The stability and boundedness of the solution for stochastic functional differential equation with finite delay have been studied by several authors, but there is almost no work on the stability of the solutions for stochastic functional differential equations with infinite delay. The main aim of this paper is to close this gap. We establish criteria of pth moment ψγ(t)-bounded for neutral stochastic functional differential equations with infinite delay and exponentially stable criteria for stochastic functional differential equations with infinite delay, and we also illustrate the result with an example.  相似文献
