The knowledge about parameters and order is very important for synchronization of fractional-order chaotic systems. In this article, identification of parameters and order of fractional-order chaotic systems is converted to an optimization problem. Particle swarm optimization algorithm is used to solve this optimization problem. Based on the above parameter identification, synchronization of the fractional-order Lorenz, Chen and a novel system (commensurate or incommensurate order) is derived using active control method. The new fractional-order chaotic system has four-scroll chaotic attractors. The existence and uniqueness of solutions for the new fractional-order system are also investigated theoretically. Simulation results signify the performance of the work.  相似文献

It is an important issue to estimate parameters of chaotic system in nonlinear science. In this paper, parameter estimation problem of chaotic system with time-delay is considered. Parameters and time-delay are estimated together by treating time-delay as an additional parameter. The parameter estimation problem is converted to an multi-dimensional optimization problem. A differential evolution (DE) algorithm, which possess a powerful searching capability for finding the solutions for a given optimization problem, is applied to solve this optimization problem. Two illustrative examples are given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

The harmony search (HS) algorithm is a recently developed meta-heuristic algorithm, and has been very successful in a wide variety of optimization problems. HS was conceptualized using an analogy with music improvisation process where music players improvise the pitches of their instruments to obtain better harmony. The HS algorithm does not require initial values and uses a random search instead of a gradient search, so derivative information is unnecessary. Furthermore, the HS algorithm is simple in concept, few in parameters, easy in implementation, imposes fewer mathematical requirements, and does not require initial value settings of the decision variables. In recent years, the investigation of synchronization and control problem for discrete chaotic systems has attracted much attention, and many possible applications. The tuning of a proportional–integral–derivative (PID) controller based on an improved HS (IHS) algorithm for synchronization of two identical discrete chaotic systems subject the different initial conditions is investigated in this paper. Simulation results of the IHS to determine the PID parameters to synchronization of two Hénon chaotic systems are compared with other HS approaches including classical HS and global-best HS. Numerical results reveal that the proposed IHS method is a powerful search and controller design optimization tool for synchronization of chaotic systems.  相似文献

Parameter estimation for chaotic systems is an important issue in nonlinear science and has attracted increasing interests from various research fields, which could be essentially formulated as a multidimensional optimization problem. As a novel evolutionary computation technique, differential evolution algorithm (DE) has attracted much attention and wide applications, owing to its simple concept, easy implementation and quick convergence. However, to the best of our knowledge, there is no published work on DE for estimating parameters of chaotic systems. In this paper, a DE approach is applied to estimate the parameters of Lorenz system. Numerical simulation and the comparisons demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of DE. Moreover, the effect of population size on the optimization performances is investigated as well.  相似文献

This paper addresses a unified mathematical expression describing a class of chaotic systems, for which the problem of adaptive synchronization between two nearly identical chaotic and hyper-chaotic systems with uncertain parameters is studied. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, a novel adaptive synchronization controller is designed, and the analytic expression of the controller and the adaptive laws of parameters are developed. The controller is simple and systemic, no parameters of the slave system are included in the controller, and, for some specific error systems, the controller can be simplified ulteriorly. New chaotic and a new hyper-chaotic systems with uncertain parameters are taken as the examples to show the effectiveness of the proposed adaptive synchronization method.  相似文献

The work of Yassen [M.T. Yassen, Chaos control of chaotic dynamical systems using backstepping design, Chaos Soliton Fract. 27 (2006) 537–548] which mainly investigated the stabilization problem for a class of chaotic systems without the parameters perturbation. This paper is concerned with stabilization problem for a class of parameters perturbation chaotic systems via both backstepping design method and adaptive technique. The proposed controllers can guarantee that the parameters perturbation systems will be stabilized at a fixed bounded point. Furthermore, the paper also proposes controllers to stabilize the uncertain chaotic system at equilibrium point with only backstepping design method. Finally, numerical simulations are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed controllers.  相似文献

In this article, some dynamics of Bloch chaotic system have been studied. Based on Lagrange multiplier method, optimization theory, and the generalized positively definite and radially unbound Lyapunov functions with respect to the parameters of the system, we derive the ultimate bound and a family of mathematical expressions of globally exponentially attractive sets for this system with respect to the parameters of system. The results obtained in this article provides theory basis for chaotic synchronization, chaotic control, Hausdorff dimension, and Lyapunov dimension of chaotic attractors of Bloch chaotic system. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Particle swarm optimization (PSO) is a population-based swarm intelligence algorithm that shares many similarities with evolutionary computation techniques. However, the PSO is driven by the simulation of a social psychological metaphor motivated by collective behaviors of bird and other social organisms instead of the survival of the fittest individual. Inspired by the classical PSO method and quantum mechanics theories, this work presents a novel Quantum-behaved PSO (QPSO) using chaotic mutation operator. The application of chaotic sequences based on chaotic Zaslavskii map instead of random sequences in QPSO is a powerful strategy to diversify the QPSO population and improve the QPSO’s performance in preventing premature convergence to local minima. The simulation results demonstrate good performance of the QPSO in solving a well-studied continuous optimization problem of mechanical engineering design.  相似文献

Using finite time control techniques, continuous state feedback control laws are developed to solve the synchronization problem of two chaotic systems. We demonstrate that these two chaotic systems can be synchronized in finite time. Examples of Duffing systems, Lorenz systems are presented to verify our method.  相似文献

In this paper, a differential evolution (DE) algorithm is applied to parameter identification of Rossler’s chaotic system. The differential evolution has been shown to possess a powerful searching capability for finding the solutions for a given optimization problem, and it allows for parameter solution to appear directly in the form of floating point without further numerical coding or decoding. Three unknown parameters of Rossler’s Chaotic system are optimally estimated by using the DE algorithm. Finally, a numerical example is given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献
