In this paper, we established strong convergence theorems for a common fixed point of two asymptotically nonexpansive mappings and for a common fixed point of two asymptotically nonexpansive semigroups by using the hybrid method in a Hilbert space. Moreover, we also proved a strong convergence theorem for a common fixed point of two nonexpansive mappings. Our results extend and improve the recent ones announced by Kim and Xu [T.W. Kim, H.W. Xu, Strong convergence of modified Mann iteration for asymptotically nonexpansive mappings and semigroups, Nonlinear Anal. 64 (2006) 1140–1152], Nakajo and Takahashi [K. Nakajo, W. Takahashi, Strong convergence theorems for nonexpansive mappings and nonexpansive semigroups, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 279 (2003) 372–379], and many others.  相似文献

Nakajo and Takahashi [K. Nakajo, W. Takahashi, Strong convergence theorems for nonexpansive mappings and nonexpansive semigroups, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 279 (2003) 372–379] proved strong convergence theorems for nonexpansive mappings, nonexpansive semigroups and the proximal point algorithm for zero-point of monotone operators in Hilbert spaces by the CQ iteration method. The purpose of this paper is to modify the CQ iteration method of K. Nakajo and W. Takahashi using the monotone CQ method, and to prove strong convergence theorems. In the proof process of this article, the Cauchy sequence method is used, so we proceed without use of the demiclosedness principle and Opial’s condition, and other weak topological techniques.  相似文献

The Mann iterations for nonexpansive mappings have in general only weak convergence in a Hilbert space. We modify an iterative method of Mann's type introduced by Nakajo and Takahashi [Strong convergence theorems for nonexpansive mappings and nonexpansive semigroups, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 279 (2003) 372–379] for nonexpansive mappings and prove strong convergence of our modified Mann's iteration processes for asymptotically nonexpansive mappings and semigroups.  相似文献

In this paper, we prove three strong convergence theorems of modified Mann iteration for relatively asymptotically nonexpansive mappings, relatively nonexpansive mappings, and maximal monotone operators in a Banach space, respectively. Our results extend and improve the recent ones announced by Nakajo, Takahashi, Matsushita, Kim, Martinez-Yanex, Xu, and some others.

The purpose of this article is to prove strong convergence theorems for common fixed points of two closed hemi-relatively nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces. In order to get the strong convergence theorems, the monotone hybrid algorithms are presented and are used to approximate the common fixed points. Finally, a new simplified hybrid algorithm has been proposed and relative convergence theorem has been proved by using the new method for proofs. The results of this article modify and improve the results of Matsushita, Takahashi [S. Matsushita, W. Takahashi, A strong convergence theorem for relatively nonexpansive mappings in a Banach space, J. Approx. Theory 134 (2005) 257–266] and the results of Plubtieng, Ungchittrakool [S. Plubtieng, K. We prove strong convergence theorems by the hybrid method given by Takahashi, Takeuchi, and Kubota for a family of relatively nonexpansive mappings under weaker conditions. The method of the proof is different from the original one and it shows that the type of projection used in the iterative method is independent of the properties of the mappings. We also deal with the problem of finding a zero of a maximal monotone operator and obtain a strong convergence theorem using this method.  相似文献

The purpose of this article is to prove strong convergence theorems for common fixed points of two countable families of weak relatively nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces. In order to get the strong convergence theorems, the monotone hybrid algorithms are presented and are used to approximate the common fixed points. Using this result, we also discuss the problem of strong convergence concerning the maximal monotone operators in a Banach space. The results of this article modify and improve the results of Matsushita and Takahashi [S. Matsushita, W. The purpose of this article is to prove the strong convergence theorems for hemi-relatively nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces. In order to get the strong convergence theorems for hemi-relatively nonexpansive mappings, a new monotone hybrid iteration algorithm is presented and is used to approximate the fixed point of hemi-relatively nonexpansive mappings. Noting that, the general hybrid iteration algorithm can be used for relatively nonexpansive mappings but it can not be used for hemi-relatively nonexpansive mappings. However, this new monotone hybrid algorithm can be used for hemi-relatively nonexpansive mappings. In addition, a new method of proof has been used in this article. That is, by using this new monotone hybrid algorithm, we firstly claim that, the iterative sequence is a Cauchy sequence. The results of this paper modify and improve the results of Matsushita and Takahashi, and some others.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to propose a modified block iterative algorithm for find a common element of the set of common fixed points of an infinite family of quasi-?-asymptotically nonexpansive mappings and the set of an equilibrium problem. Under suitable conditions, some strong convergence theorems are established in a uniformly smooth and strictly convex Banach space with the Kadec-Klee property. As an application, at the end of the paper a numerical example is given. The results presented in the paper improve and extend the corresponding results in Qin et al. The purpose of this paper is by using the hybrid iterative method to prove some strong convergence theorems for approximating a common element of the set of solutions to a system of generalized mixed equilibrium problems and the set of common fixed points for two countable families of closed and asymptotically relatively nonexpansive mappings in Banach space. The hybrid method in mathematical programming was introduced by Haugazeau (1968) [1] and he proved a strong convergence theorem for finding a common element of finite nonempty closed convex subsets of a real Hilbert space. Later, Bauschke and Combettes (2001) [2] proposed some condition for a family of mappings (the so-called coherent condition) and established interesting results by the hybrid method. The authors (Nakajo et al., 2009) [10] extended Bauschke and Combettes’s results. In this paper, we introduce a condition weaker than the coherent condition and prove strong convergence theorems which generalize the results of Nakajo et al. (2009) [10]. And we get strong convergence theorems for a family of asymptotically κ-strict pseudo-contractions, a family of Lipschitz and pseudo-contractive mappings and a one-parameter uniformly Lipschitz semigroup of pseudo-contractive mappings.  相似文献

In this paper, we prove strong convergence theorems by the hybrid method for a family of hemi-relatively nonexpansive mappings in a Banach space. Our results improve and extend the corresponding results given by Qin et al. [Xiaolong Qin, Yeol Je Cho, Shin Min Kang, Haiyun Zhou, Convergence of a modified Halpern-type iteration algorithm for quasi-?-nonexpansive mappings, Appl. Math. Lett. 22 (2009) 1051-1055], and at the same time, our iteration algorithm is different from the Kimura and Takahashi algorithm, which is a modified Mann-type iteration algorithm [Yasunori Kimura, Wataru Takahashi, On a hybrid method for a family of relatively nonexpansive mappings in Banach space, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 357 (2009) 356-363]. In addition, we succeed in applying our algorithm to systems of equilibrium problems which contain a family of equilibrium problems.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce a new mapping and a Hybrid iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of solutions of a generalized equilibrium problem and the set of common fixed points of a finite family of nonexpansive mappings in a Hilbert space. Then, we prove the strong convergence of the proposed iterative algorithm to a common fixed point of a finite family of nonexpansive mappings which is a solution of the generalized equilibrium problem. The results obtained in this paper extend the recent ones of Takahashi and Takahashi [S. Takahashi, W. Takahashi, Strong convergence theorem for a generalized equilibrium problem and a nonexpansive mapping in a Hilbert space, Nonlinear Anal. 69 (2008) 1025–1033].  相似文献

In this paper, a strong convergence theorem for asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in a uniformly convex and smooth Banach space is proved by using metric projections. This theorem extends and improves the recent strong convergence theorem due to Matsushita and Takahashi [S. Matsushita, W. Takahashi, Approximating fixed points of nonexpansive mappings in a Banach space by metric projections, Appl. Math. Comput. 196 (2008) 422–425] which was established for nonexpansive mappings.  相似文献

In this paper, we prove a strong convergence theorem by the hybrid method for a countable family of relatively nonexpansive mappings in a Banach space. We also establish a new control condition for the sequence of mappings {Tn} which is weaker than the control condition in Lemma 3.1 of Aoyama et al. [K. Aoyama, Y. Kimura, W. Takahashi and M. Toyoda, Approximation of common fixed points of a countable family of nonexpansive mappings in a Banach space, Nonlinear Anal. 67 (2007) 2350-2360]. Moreover, we apply our results for finding a common fixed point of two relatively nonexpansive mappings in a Banach space and an element of the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem in a Banach space, respectively. Our results are applicable to a wide class of mappings.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with convergence of an approximating common fixed point sequence of countable Lipschitzian mappings in a uniformly convex Banach space. We also establish weak convergence theorems for finding a common element of the set of fixed points, the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem, and the set of solutions of a variational inequality. With an appropriate setting, we obtain and improve the corresponding results recently proved by Moudafi [A. Moudafi, Weak convergence theorems for nonexpansive mappings and equilibrium problems. J. Nonlinear Convex Anal. 9 (2008) 37–43], Tada–Takahashi [A. Tada and W. Takahashi, Weak and strong convergence theorems for a nonexpansive mapping and an equilibrium problem. J. Optim. Theory Appl. 133 (2007) 359–370], and Plubtieng–Kumam [S. Plubtieng and P. Kumam, Weak convergence theorem for monotone mappings and a countable family of nonexpansive mappings. J. Comput. Appl. Math. (2008) doi:10.1016/j.cam.2008.05.045]. Some of our results are established with weaker assumptions.  相似文献
