We consider the Markov chain ${\{X_n^x\}_{n=0}^\infty}$ on ${\mathbb{R}^d}$ defined by the stochastic recursion ${X_{n}^{x}= \psi_{\theta_{n}} (X_{n-1}^{x})}$ , starting at ${x\in\mathbb{R}^d}$ , where ?? 1, ?? 2, . . . are i.i.d. random variables taking their values in a metric space ${(\Theta, \mathfrak{r})}$ , and ${\psi_{\theta_{n}} :\mathbb{R}^d\mapsto\mathbb{R}^d}$ are Lipschitz maps. Assume that the Markov chain has a unique stationary measure ??. Under appropriate assumptions on ${\psi_{\theta_n}}$ , we will show that the measure ?? has a heavy tail with the exponent ???>?0 i.e. ${\nu(\{x\in\mathbb{R}^d: |x| > t\})\asymp t^{-\alpha}}$ . Using this result we show that properly normalized Birkhoff sums ${S_n^x=\sum_{k=1}^n X_k^x}$ , converge in law to an ??-stable law for ${\alpha\in(0, 2]}$ .  相似文献

We consider the standard first passage percolation model in the rescaled graph ${\mathbb{Z}^d/n}$ for d??? 2, and a domain ?? of boundary ?? in ${\mathbb{R}^d}$ . Let ??1 and ??2 be two disjoint open subsets of ??, representing the parts of ?? through which some water can enter and escape from ??. We investigate the asymptotic behaviour of the flow ${\phi_n}$ through a discrete version ?? n of ?? between the corresponding discrete sets ${\Gamma^{1}_{n}}$ and ${\Gamma^{2}_{n}}$ . We prove that under some conditions on the regularity of the domain and on the law of the capacity of the edges, the lower large deviations of ${\phi_n/ n^{d-1}}$ below a certain constant are of surface order.  相似文献

Let A be an expansive dilation on ${{\mathbb R}^n}$ and w a Muckenhoupt ${\mathcal A_\infty(A)}$ weight. In this paper, for all parameters ${\alpha\in{\mathbb R} }$ and ${p,q\in(0,\infty)}$ , the authors identify the dual spaces of weighted anisotropic Besov spaces ${\dot B^\alpha_{p,q}(A;w)}$ and Triebel?CLizorkin spaces ${\dot F^\alpha_{p,q}(A;w)}$ with some new weighted Besov-type and Triebel?CLizorkin-type spaces. The corresponding results on anisotropic Besov spaces ${\dot B^\alpha_{p,q}(A; \mu)}$ and Triebel?CLizorkin spaces ${\dot F^\alpha_{p,q}(A; \mu)}$ associated with ${\rho_A}$ -doubling measure??? are also established. All results are new even for the classical weighted Besov and Triebel?CLizorkin spaces in the isotropic setting. In particular, the authors also obtain the ${\varphi}$ -transform characterization of the dual spaces of the classical weighted Hardy spaces on ${{\mathbb R}^n}$ .  相似文献

We introduce vanishing generalized Morrey spaces ${V\mathcal{L}^{p,\varphi}_\Pi (\Omega), \Omega \subseteq \mathbb{R}^n}$ with a general function ${\varphi(x, r)}$ defining the Morrey-type norm. Here ${\Pi \subseteq \Omega}$ is an arbitrary subset in Ω including the extremal cases ${\Pi = \{x_0\}, x_0 \in \Omega}$ and Π = Ω, which allows to unify vanishing local and global Morrey spaces. In the spaces ${V\mathcal{L}^{p,\varphi}_\Pi (\mathbb{R}^n)}$ we prove the boundedness of a class of sublinear singular operators, which includes Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator and Calderon-Zygmund singular operators with standard kernel. We also prove a Sobolev-Spanne type ${V\mathcal{L}^{p,\varphi}_\Pi (\mathbb{R}^n) \rightarrow V\mathcal{L}^{q,\varphi^\frac{q}{p}}_\Pi (\mathbb{R}^n)}$ -theorem for the potential operator I α . The conditions for the boundedness are given in terms of Zygmund-type integral inequalities on ${\varphi(x, r)}$ . No monotonicity type condition is imposed on ${\varphi(x, r)}$ . In case ${\varphi}$ has quasi- monotone properties, as a consequence of the main results, the conditions of the boundedness are also given in terms of the Matuszeska-Orlicz indices of the function ${\varphi}$ . The proofs are based on pointwise estimates of the modulars defining the vanishing spaces  相似文献

Let ?? be a bounded open subset of ${\mathbb{G}}$ , where ${\mathbb{G}}$ is a Carnot group, and let ${u: \Omega \rightarrow \mathbb{R}^d}$ be a vector valued function. We prove a lower semicontinuity result in the weak topology of the horizontal Sobolev space ${W^{1,p}_X(\Omega,\mathbb{R}^d)}$ , with p?>?1, of the integral functional of the calculus of variations of the type $$F(u)=\int\limits_\Omega f(Xu)\,dx$$ where f is a X-quasiconvex function satisfying a non-standard growth conditions and Xu is the horizontal gradient of u.  相似文献

Suppose that n is even. Let ${\mathbb{F}_2}$ denote the two-element field and ${\mathbb{Z}}$ the set of integers. Bent functions can be defined as ± 1-valued functions on ${\mathbb{F}_2^n}$ with ± 1-valued Fourier transform. More generally we call a mapping f on ${\mathbb{F}_2^n}$ a ${\mathbb{Z}}$ -bent function if both f and its Fourier transform ${\widehat{f}}$ are integer-valued. ${\mathbb{Z}}$ -bent functions f are separated into different levels, depending on the size of the maximal absolute value attained by f and ${\widehat{f}}$ . It is shown how ${\mathbb{Z}}$ -bent functions of lower level can be built up recursively by gluing together ${\mathbb{Z}}$ -bent functions of higher level. This recursion comes down at level zero, containing the usual bent functions. In the present paper we start to study bent functions in the framework of ${\mathbb{Z}}$ -bent functions and give some guidelines for further research.  相似文献

Let k be a field of characteristic zero. We consider k-forms of $ {\mathbb G} $ m -actions on $ {\mathbb A} $ 3 and show that they are linearizable. In particular, $ {\mathbb G} $ m -actions on $ {\mathbb A} $ 3 are linearizable, and k-forms of $ {\mathbb A} $ 3 that admit an effective action of an infinite reductive group are trivial.  相似文献

Let ${\mathcal{A}}$ denote the multiplier algebra of an E-valued reproducing kernel Hilbert space, ${H_E^2(k)}$ . Then when H 2(k) is nice, we give necessary and sufficient conditions that T > 0 factors as A*A, where A and ${A^{-1} \in \mathcal{A}}$ . Such nice spaces include the Bergman and Hardy spaces on the unit polydisk and unit ball in ${\mathbb{C}^d}$ .  相似文献

We introduce the notion of crystallographic number systems, generalizing matrix number systems. Let Γ be a group of isometries of ${\mathbb{R}^d,g}$ an expanding affine mapping of ${\mathbb{R}^d}$ with ${g\circ\Gamma\circ g^{-1}\subset\Gamma}$ and ${\mathcal{D}\subset\Gamma}$ . We say that ${(\Gamma,g,\mathcal{D})}$ is a Γ-number system if every isometry ${\gamma\in \Gamma}$ has a unique expansion $$\gamma=g^n\delta_n g^{-n}\,g^{n-1}\delta_{n-1} g^{-(n-1)}\dots g\delta_{1} g^{-1}\,\delta_0,$$ for some ${n\in \mathbb{N}}$ and ${\delta_0,\ldots,\delta_n\in \mathcal{D}}$ . A tile can be attached to a Γ-number system. We show fundamental topological properties of this tile: they admit the fixed point of g as interior point and tesselate the space by the whole group Γ. Moreover, we give several examples, among them a class of p2-number systems, where p2 is the crystallographic group generated by the π-rotation and two independent translations.  相似文献

We study zero-temperature Glauber dynamics on ${\mathbb{Z}^d}$ , which is a dynamic version of the Ising model of ferromagnetism. Spins are initially chosen according to a Bernoulli distribution with density p, and then the states are continuously (and randomly) updated according to the majority rule. This corresponds to the sudden quenching of a ferromagnetic system at high temperature with an external field, to one at zero temperature with no external field. Define ${p_c(\mathbb{Z}^d)}$ to be the infimum over p such that the system fixates at ???+??? with probability 1. It is a folklore conjecture that ${p_c(\mathbb{Z}^d) = 1/2}$ for every ${2 \le d \in \mathbb{N}}$ . We prove that ${p_c(\mathbb{Z}^d) \to 1/2}$ as d ?? ??.  相似文献

In this paper we provide a first realization of an idea of Jacques Tits from a 1956 paper, which first mentioned that there should be a field of charactéristique une, which is now called ${\mathbb{F}_1}$ , the field with one element. This idea was that every split reductive group scheme over ${\mathbb{Z}}$ should descend to ${\mathbb{F}_1}$ , and its group of ${\mathbb{F}_1}$ -rational points should be its Weyl group. We connect the notion of a torified scheme to the notion of ${\mathbb{F}_1}$ -schemes as introduced by Connes and Consani. This yields models of toric varieties, Schubert varieties and split reductive group schemes as ${\mathbb{F}_1}$ -schemes. We endow the class of ${\mathbb{F}_1}$ -schemes with two classes of morphisms, one leading to a satisfying notion of ${\mathbb{F}_1}$ -rational points, the other leading to the notion of an algebraic group over ${\mathbb{F}_1}$ such that every split reductive group is defined as an algebraic group over ${\mathbb{F}_1}$ . Furthermore, we show that certain combinatorics that are expected from parabolic subgroups of GL(n) and Grassmann varieties are realized in this theory.  相似文献

We consider the operator $\mathcal {R}$ , which sends a function on ${\mathbb {R}}^{2n}$ to its integrals over all affine Lagrangian subspaces in ${\mathbb {R}}^{2n}$ . We discuss properties of the operator $\mathcal {R}$ and of the representation of the affine symplectic group in several function spaces on ${\mathbb {R}}^{2n}$ .  相似文献

Given a Lie group G with a bi-invariant metric and a compact Lie subgroup K, Bittencourt and Ripoll used the homogeneous structure of quotient spaces to define a Gauss map ${\mathcal{N}:M^{n}\rightarrow{\mathbb{S}}}$ on any hypersupersurface ${M^{n}\looparrowright G/K}$ , where ${{\mathbb{S}}}$ is the unit sphere of the Lie algebra of G. It is proved in Bittencourt and Ripoll (Pacific J Math 224:45–64, 2006) that M n having constant mean curvature (CMC) is equivalent to ${\mathcal{N}}$ being harmonic, a generalization of a Ruh–Vilms theorem for submanifolds in the Euclidean space. In particular, when n = 2, the induced quadratic differential ${\mathcal{Q}_{\mathcal{N}}:=(\mathcal{N}^{\ast}g)^{2,0}}$ is holomorphic on CMC surfaces of G/K. In this paper, we take ${G/K={\mathbb{S}}^{2}\times{\mathbb{R}}}$ and compare ${\mathcal{Q}_{\mathcal{N}}}$ with the Abresch–Rosenberg differential ${\mathcal{Q}}$ , also holomorphic for CMC surfaces. It is proved that ${\mathcal{Q}=\mathcal{Q}_{\mathcal{N}}}$ , after showing that ${\mathcal{N}}$ is the twisted normal given by (1.5) herein. Then we define the twisted normal for surfaces in ${{\mathbb{H}}^{2}\times{\mathbb{R}}}$ and prove that ${\mathcal{Q}=\mathcal{Q}_{\mathcal{N}}}$ as well. Within the unified model for the two product spaces, we compute the tension field of ${\mathcal{N}}$ and extend to surfaces in ${{\mathbb{H}}^{2}\times{\mathbb{R}}}$ the equivalence between the CMC property and the harmonicity of ${\mathcal{N}.}$   相似文献

We prove a global implicit function theorem. In particular we show that any Lipschitz map ${f : \mathbb{R}^{n} \times \mathbb{R}^{m} \rightarrow \mathbb{R}^{n}}$ (with n-dim. image) can be precomposed with a bi-Lipschitz map ${\bar{g} : \mathbb{R}^{n} \times \mathbb{R}^{m} \rightarrow \mathbb{R}^{n} \times \mathbb{R}^{m}}$ such that ${f \circ \bar{g}}$ will satisfy, when we restrict to a large portion of the domain ${E \subset \mathbb{R}^{n} \times \mathbb{R}^{m}}$ , that ${f \circ \bar{g}}$ is bi-Lipschitz in the first coordinate, and constant in the second coordinate. Geometrically speaking, the map ${\bar{g}}$ distorts ${\mathbb{R}^{n+m}}$ in a controlled manner so that the fibers of f are straightened out. Furthermore, our results stay valid when the target space is replaced by any metric space. A main point is that our results are quantitative: the size of the set E on which behavior is good is a significant part of the discussion. Our estimates are motivated by examples such as Kaufman’s 1979 construction of a C 1 map from [0, 1]3 onto [0, 1]2 with rank ≤ 1 everywhere. On route we prove an extension theorem which is of independent interest. We show that for any Dn, any Lipschitz function ${f : [0,1]^{n} \rightarrow \mathbb{R}^{D}}$ gives rise to a large (in an appropriate sense) subset ${E \subset [0,1]^{n}}$ such that ${f|_E}$ is bi-Lipschitz and may be extended to a bi-Lipschitz function defined on all of ${\mathbb{R}^{n}}$ . This extends results of Jones and David, from 1988. As a simple corollary, we show that n-dimensional Ahlfors–David regular spaces lying in ${\mathbb{R}^{D}}$ having big pieces of bi-Lipschitz images also have big pieces of big pieces of Lipschitz graphs in ${\mathbb{R}^{D}}$ . This was previously known only for D ≥ 2n?+?1 by a result of David and Semmes.  相似文献

In this paper we prove the equivalence of the frame property and the closedness for a weighted shift-invariant space $$ V^p_\mu(\Phi) = \left\{\sum \limits^{r}_{i=1} \sum \limits_{j \in \mathbb{Z}^d} c_{i}(j)\phi_{i}(\cdot-j)\left \vert {\{c_{i}(j)\}}_{j \in \mathbb{Z}^{d}} \in {\ell_{\mu}^{p}}\right.\right\}, \quad p \in [1, \infty], $$ which corresponds to ${{\Phi = \Phi^r = (\phi_1, \phi_2, . . . , \phi_r)^T \in (W^{1}_\omega)^r}}$ . We, also, construct a sequence Φ2k+1 and the sequence of spaces ${{V^{p}_{\mu} (\Phi^{2k+1})}}$ , ${k \in {\mathbb N}}$ , on ${\mathbb R}$ , with the useful properties in sampling, approximations and stability.  相似文献

We consider a closed semi-algebraic set ${X \subset \mathbb{R}^n}$ and a C 2 semi-algebraic function ${f : \mathbb{R}^n \rightarrow\mathbb{R}}$ such that ${f_{\vert X}}$ has a finite number of critical points. We relate the topology of X to the topology of the sets ${X \cap \{ f * \alpha \}}$ , where ${* \in \{\le,=,\ge \}}$ and ${\alpha \in \mathbb{R}}$ , and the indices of the critical points of ${f_{\vert X}}$ and ${-f_{\vert X}}$ . We also relate the topology of X to the topology of the links at infinity of the sets ${X \cap \{ f * \alpha\}}$ and the indices of these critical points. We give applications when ${X=\mathbb{R}^n}$ and when f is a generic linear function.  相似文献

Given n, N ≥ 1 we construct a set of points ${\lambda_1,{\ldots},\lambda_{N^n}\in{\mathbb D}^n}$ such that for each rational inner function f on ${{\mathbb D}^n}$ of degree less than N the Pick problem on ${{\mathbb D}^n}$ with data ${\lambda_1,{\ldots},\lambda_{N^n}}$ and ${f(\lambda_1),{\ldots},f(\lambda_{N^n})}$ has a unique solution. In particular, we construct a 1-dimensional inner variety V and show that the points ${\lambda_1,{\ldots},\lambda_{N^n}}$ may be chosen almost arbitrarily in ${V\cap{\mathbb D}^n}$ . Our results state that f is uniquely determined in the Schur class of ${{\mathbb D}^n}$ by its values on ${\lambda_1,{\ldots},\lambda_{N^n}}$ .  相似文献

Let ${\mathcal{K}}$ be a family of simply connected sets in the plane. If every countable subfamily of ${\mathcal{K}}$ has an intersection that is starshaped via orthogonally convex paths, then ${\mathcal{K}}$ itself has such an intersection. For the d-dimensional case, let ${\mathcal{K}}$ be a family of compact sets in ${\mathbb{R}^d}$ . If every finite subfamily of ${\mathcal{K}}$ has an intersection that is starshaped via orthogonally convex paths, again ${\mathcal{K}}$ itself has such an intersection.  相似文献
