Existence of Solutions and Algorithms for Bilevel Vector Equilibrium Problems: An Auxiliary Principle Technique

The main goal of this paper is to introduce and study bilevel vector equilibrium problems. We first establish some existence results for solutions of vector equilibrium problems and mixed vector equilibrium problems. We study the existence of solutions of bilevel vector equilibrium problems by considering a vector Thikhonov-type regularization procedure. By using this regularization procedure and existence results for mixed vector equilibrium problems, we establish some existence results for solutions of bilevel vector equilibrium problems. By using the auxiliary principle, we propose an algorithm for finding the approximate solutions of bilevel vector equilibrium problems. The strong convergence of the proposed algorithm is also studied.     

Existence results for proper efficient solutions of vector equilibrium problems and applications

In this paper, we present sufficient conditions for the existence of Henig efficient solutions, superefficient solutions and Henig globally efficient solutions of a vector equilibrium problem in topological vector spaces, using a well-known separation theorem in infinite dimensional spaces. As an application, using a scalarization technique, existence results for proper efficient solutions of generalized vector variational inequalities are given.     

Affine-periodic solutions for discrete dynamical systems

The paper concerns the existence of affine-periodic solutions for discrete dynamicalsystems. This kind of solutions might be periodic, harmonic, quasi-periodic, even non-periodic.We prove the existence of affine-periodic solutions for discrete dynamical systems by using thetheory of Brouwer degree. As applications, another existence theorem is given via Lyapnovfunction.     

Nagumo and Landesman-Lazer type conditions for nonlinear second order systems

We study the existence of solutions for a nonlinear second order system of ordinary differential equations under various boundary conditions. Assuming suitable Nagumo type conditions we prove the existence of at least one solution applying the method of upper and lower solutions. Moreover, using topological degree methods we prove the existence of solutions under Landesman-Lazer type conditions.     

Traveling wave solutions in delayed diffusion systems via a cross iteration scheme

This paper is concerned with the existence of traveling wave solutions for delayed reaction diffusion systems which contain the competition diffusion systems with time lags. By using a cross iteration scheme, we reduce the existence of traveling wave solutions to the existence of a pair of admissible upper and lower solutions, which also provides a constructive process of the traveling wave solutions. To illustrate our conclusion, we consider a delayed diffusion system with the Gilpin–Ayala type nonlinearity and establish the existence of its traveling wave solutions, which cannot be answered by the existing results.

A reaction-diffusion system with cross-diffusion modeling the spread of an epidemic disease

We provide existence results for nonnegative solutions to a class of reaction-diffusion systems with cross-diffusion modeling the spread of an epidemic disease. The existence of weak solutions is proved by means of an approximation process, the Faedo-Galerkin method, and a compactness argument. Under additional assumptions a global existence result for classical solutions is derived upon using interpolation results between Banach spaces.
