The authors establish a kind of inequalities for nonnegative submartingales which depend on two functions Φ and ψ, and obtain the equivalent conditions for Φ and ψ such that this kind of inequalities holds. In the casen Φ =ψ∈Δ2, it is proved that this necessary and sufficient condition is equivalent to qΦ > 1.  相似文献

This paper deals with the blow-up properties of solutions to a system of heat equations u tu, v tv in B R×(0, T) with the Neumann boundary conditions εu/εη=e v, εv/εη=e u on S R×[0, T). The existence of a solution to the parabolic system with the fractional Laplacian (-△) α/2, α 〉 0 is proven, this solution decays at different rates along different time sequences going to infinity. As an application, the existence of a solution to the generalized Navier-Stokes equations is proven, which decays at different rates along different time sequences going to infinity. The generalized Navier-Stokes equations are the equations resulting from replacing -△ in the Navier-Stokes equations by (-△)^m, m〉 0. At last, a similar result for 3-D incompressible anisotropic Navier-Stokes system is obtained.  相似文献

Let T(Δ) and B(Δ) be the Teichmüller space and the infinitesimal Teichmüller space of the unit disk Δ respectively. In this paper, we show that [ν] B(Δ) being an infinitesimal Strebel point does not imply that [ν] T(Δ) is a Strebel point, vice versa. We consider the Newton polytope Σ(m,n) of the product of all minors of an m× n matrix of indeterminates. Using the fact that this polytope is the secondary polytope of the product Δ m-1 ×Δ n-1 of simplices, and thus has faces corresponding to coherent polyhedral subdivisions of Δ m-1 ×Δ n-1 , we study facets of Σ(m,n) , which correspond to the coarsest, nontrivial such subdivisions. In this paper, we introduce an operator Hμ(z) on L^∞(△) and obtain some of its properties. Some applications of this operator to the extremal problem of quasiconformal mappings are given. Let G be an outerplanar graph with maximum degree △. Let χ(G^2) and A(G) denote the chromatic number of the square and the L(2, 1)-labelling number of G, respectively. In this paper we prove the following results: (1) χ(G^2) = 7 if △= 6; (2) λ(G) ≤ △ +5 if △ ≥ 4, and ),(G)≤ 7 if △ = 3; and (3) there is an outerplanar graph G with △ = 4 such that )λ(G) = 7. These improve some known results on the distance two labelling of outerplanar graphs.  相似文献

Vizing and Behzad independently conjectured that every graph is (Δ + 2)-totally-colorable, where Δ denotes the maximum degree of G. This conjecture has not been settled yet even for planar graphs. The only open case is Δ = 6. It is known that planar graphs with Δ ≥ 9 are (Δ + 1)-totally-colorable. We conjecture that planar graphs with 4 ≤ Δ ≤ 8 are also (Δ + 1)-totally-colorable. In addition to some known results supporting this conjecture, we prove that planar graphs with Δ = 6 and without 4-cycles are 7-totally-colorable.
