The paper is concerned with the filled functions for global optimization of a continuous function of several variables. More general forms of filled functions are presented for smooth and nonsmooth optimizations. These functions have either two adjustable parameters or one adjustable parameter. Conditions on functions and on the values of parameters are given so that the constructed functions are desired filled functions.  相似文献

The filled function method is considered as an efficient method to find the global minimum of multidimensional functions. A number of filled functions were proposed recently, most of which have one or two adjustable parameters. However, there is no efficient criterion to choose the parameter appropriately. In this paper, we propose a filled function without parameter. And this function includes neither exponential terms nor logarithmic terms so it is superior to the traditional ones. Theories of the filled function are investigated. And an algorithm which does not compute gradients during minimizing the filled function is presented. Moreover, the numerical experiments demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed filled function.  相似文献

The filled function method is an effective approach to find the global minimizer of multi-modal functions. The conventional filled functions are often numerically unstable due to the exponential or logarithmic term and the sensitivity to parameters. In this paper, a new filled function is proposed, which is continuously differentiable, not sensitive to parameters, and not easy to cause overflow. Then a new local search algorithm is given. Based on this, a new filled function method is proposed. The simulations indicate that the proposed method is numerically stable to the variations of the initial points and the parameters. The comparison with some existing algorithms shows that the proposed method is more efficient and effective.  相似文献

求解无约束总体优化问题的一类单参数填充函数需要假设问题的局部极小解的个数只有有限个,而且填充函数中参数的选取与局部极小解的谷域的半径有关.本文对填充函数的定义作适当改进,而且对已有的这一类填充函数作改进,构造了一类双参数填充函数.新的填充函数不仅无须对问题的局部极小解的个数作假设,而且其中参数的选取与局部极小解的谷域的半径无关.  相似文献

The filled function method (FFM) is an approach to find the global minimum of multimodal functions. The computability of conventional filled functions is limited as they are defined on either exponential or logarithmic terms. This paper proposes a new filled function that does not have such disadvantages. This paper is concerned with filled function methods for finding global minimizers of a function of several variables. A class of filled functions is defined. The advantages and disadvantages of every filled function in the class are analyzed. The best one in this class is pointed out. The idea behind constructing a better filled function is given and employed to construct the class of filled functions. A method is also explored on how to locate minimizers or saddle points of a filled function through only the use of the gradient of a function.The authors are indebted to Dr. L. C. W. The filled function method is an approach to find the global minimum of multidimensional functions. This paper proposes a new definition of the filled function for integer programming problem. A filled function which satisfies this definition is presented. Furthermore, we discuss the properties of the filled function and design a new filled function algorithm. Numerical experiments on several test problems with up to 50 integer variables have demonstrated the applicability and efficiency of the proposed method.  相似文献

A filled function with adjustable parameters is suggested in this paper for finding a global minimum point of a general class of nonlinear programming problems with a bounded and closed domain. This function has two adjustable parameters. We will discuss the properties of the proposed filled function.
