In this article, Haseman boundary value problem for a class of meta-analytic functions is studied. The expression of solution and the condition of solvability for Haseman boundary value problem are obtained by changing the problem discussed into the equivalent Haseman boundary value problem of bi-analytic function. In this paper, using the singularly perturbed theory and the boundary layer corrective method, the asymptotic behavior of solution for a class of strongly nonlinear non-autonomous equations and the infection for asymptotic behavior of the solution with regard to the boundary condition are studied. According to the different regions of the boundary value, the asymptotic expansions of the solution for the original problem are obtained simply and conveniently.  相似文献

In this paper, the nonlinear programming problem with quasimonotonic ( both quasiconvex and quasiconcave )objective function and linear constraints is considered. With the decomposition theorem of polyhedral sets, the structure of optimal solution set for the programming problem is depicted. Based on a simplified version of the convex simplex method, the uniqueness condition of optimal solution and the computational procedures to determine all optimal solutions are given, if the uniqueness condition is not satisfied. An initial-boundary value problem of the Korteweg-de Vries equation is considered. A conservation law fox this problem is derived. A difference scheme is introduced and its conservation property is compared to the conservation law. The convergence of this scheme is strictly proved. It is shown numerically that such scheme is applicable. Numerical results for the case where the initial condition is zero and the boundary condition is a rectangle pulse are also obtained. It is found that the solution exhibits soliton-like behaviour.  相似文献

In this paper,we investigate the effective condition numbers for the generalized Sylvester equation(AX-YB,DX-YE)=(C,F),where A,D∈R m×m,B,E∈R n×n and C,F ∈ R m×n.We apply the small sample statistical method for the fast condition estimation of the generalized Sylvester equation,which requires O(m2n+mn2) flops,comparing with O(m3+n3) flops for the generalized Schur and generalized HessenbergSchur methods for solving the generalized Sylvester equation.Numerical examples illustrate the sharpness of our perturbation bounds.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the condition numbers for the generalized matrix inversion and the rank deficient linear least squares problem: minx ||Ax- b||2, where A is an m-by-n (m ≥ n) rank deficient matrix. We first derive an explicit expression for the condition number in the weighted Frobenius norm || [AT,βb] ||F of the data A and b, where T is a positive diagonal matrix and β is a positive scalar. We then discuss the sensitivity of the standard 2-norm condition numbers for the generalized matrix inversion and rank deficient least squares and establish relations between the condition numbers and their condition numbers called level-2 condition numbers.  相似文献

In this paper, based on the theory of adjoint operators and dual norms, we define condition numbers for a linear solution function of the weighted linear least squares problem. The explicit expressions of the normwise and componentwise condition numbers derived in this paper can be computed at low cost when the dimension of the linear function is low due to dual operator theory. Moreover, we use the augmented system to perform a componentwise perturbation analysis of the solution and residual of the weighted linear least squares problems. We also propose two efficient condition number estimators. Our numerical experiments demonstrate that our condition numbers give accurate perturbation bounds and can reveal the conditioning of individual components of the solution. Our condition number estimators are accurate as well as efficient.  相似文献

The standard approaches to solving an overdetermined linear system Ax ≈ b find minimal corrections to the vector b and/or the matrix A such that the corrected system is consistent, such as the least squares (LS), the data least squares (DLS) and the total least squares (TLS). The scaled total least squares (STLS) method unifies the LS, DLS and TLS methods. The classical normwise condition numbers for the LS problem have been widely studied. However, there are no such similar results for the TLS and the STLS problems. In this paper, we first present a perturbation analysis of the STLS problem, which is a generalization of the TLS problem, and give a normwise condition number for the STLS problem. Different from normwise condition numbers, which measure the sizes of both input perturbations and output errors using some norms, componentwise condition numbers take into account the relation of each data component, and possible data sparsity. Then in this paper we give explicit expressions for the estimates of the mixed and componentwise condition numbers for the STLS problem. Since the TLS problem is a special case of the STLS problem, the condition numbers for the TLS problem follow immediately from our STLS results. All the discussions in this paper are under the Golub-Van Loan condition for the existence and uniqueness of the STLS solution. We investigate the condition number for a complex eigenvalue of a real matrix under real perturbations. Based on an explicit formula, it is shown that this number is never smaller than times the corresponding condition number with respect to complex perturbations. This result can be generalized to the condition number of an arbitrary complex-valued function under real perturbations. This extends to related condition numbers.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the normwise, mixed, and componentwise condition numbers and their upper bounds for the Moore–Penrose inverse of the Kronecker product and more general matrix function compositions involving Kronecker products. We also present the condition numbers and their upper bounds for the associated Kronecker product linear least squares solution with full column rank. In practice, the derived upper bounds for the mixed and componentwise condition numbers for Kronecker product linear least squares solution can be efficiently estimated using the Hager–Higham Algorithm. In many linear parameter estimation problems, one can use the mixed least squares–total least squares (MTLS) approach to solve them. This paper is devoted to the perturbation analysis of the MTLS problem. Firstly, we present the normwise, mixed, and componentwise condition numbers of the MTLS problem, and find that the normwise, mixed, and componentwise condition numbers of the TLS problem and the LS problem are unified in the ones of the MTLS problem. In the analysis of the first‐order perturbation, we first provide an upper bound based on the normwise condition number. In order to overcome the problems encountered in calculating the normwise condition number, we give an upper bound for computing more effectively for the MTLS problem. As two estimation techniques for solving the linear parameter estimation problems, interesting connections between their solutions, their residuals for the MTLS problem, and the LS problem are compared. Finally, some numerical experiments are performed to illustrate our results.  相似文献

One of the most successful methods for solving the least‐squares problem minxAx?b2 with a highly ill‐conditioned or rank deficient coefficient matrix A is the method of Tikhonov regularization. In this paper, we derive the normwise, mixed and componentwise condition numbers and componentwise perturbation bounds for the Tikhonov regularization. Our results are sharper than the known results.
