In this paper, an eco-epidemiological model with a stage structure is considered. The asymptotical stability of the five equilibria, the existence of stability switches about positive equilibrium, is investigated. It is found that Hopf bifurcation occurs when the delay τ passes though a critical value. Some explicit formulae determining the stability and the direction of the Hopf bifurcation periodic solutions bifurcating from Hopf bifurcations are obtained by using the normal form theory and center manifold theory. Some numerical simulations for justifying the theoretical analysis are also provided. Finally, biological explanations and main conclusions are given.  相似文献

In this paper, a class of an autonomous epidemic predator–prey model with delay is considered. Its linear stability and Hopf bifurcation are investigated. Applying the normal form theory and center manifold theory, the explicit formulas for determining the stability and the direction of the Hopf bifurcation periodic solutions are derived. Some numerical simulations for justifying the theoretical analysis are also provided. Finally, main conclusions are included.  相似文献

This article is concerned with the local stability of a positive equilibrium and the Hopf bifurcation of a delayed three-species food-chain system with the Holling type-II functional response. Some new sufficient conditions ensuring the local stability of a positive equilibrium and the existence of Hopf bifurcation for the system are established. Some explicit formulae are derived to determine the direction of bifurcations and the stability of bifurcating periodic solutions using the normal form theory and the centre manifold theory. Numerical simulations for justifying the theoretical analysis are also provided. Finally, biological explanations and main conclusions are included.  相似文献

In this paper, the dynamics of a spruce-budworm model with delay is investigated. We show that there exists Hopf bifurcation at the positive equilibrium as the delay increases. Some sufficient conditions for the existence of Hopf bifurcation are obtained by investigating the associated characteristic equation. By using the theory of normal form and center manifold, explicit expression for determining the direction of Hopf bifurcations and the stability of bifurcating periodic solutions are presented.  相似文献

We consider the dynamical behavior of a delayed two-coupled oscillator with excitatory-to-inhibitory connection. Some parameter regions are given for linear stability, absolute synchronization, and Hopf bifurcations by using the theory of functional differential equations. Conditions ensuring the stability and direction of the Hopf bifurcation are determined by applying the normal form theory and the center manifold theorem. We also investigate the spatio-temporal patterns of bifurcating periodic oscillations by using the symmetric bifurcation theory of delay differential equations combined with representation theory of Lie groups. Finally, numerical simulations are given to illustrate the results obtained.  相似文献

In this paper, a predator-prey system with two discrete delays and stage structure for both the predator and the prey is investigated. The dynamical behaviors such as local stability and local Hopf bifurcation are analyzed by regarding the possible combinations of the two delays as bifurcating parameter. Some explicit formulae determining the direction of the Hopf bifurcation and the stability of the bifurcating periodic solutions are derived by using the normal form method and the center manifold theory. Finally, numerical simulations are presented to support the theoretical analysis.  相似文献

The stability and bifurcation of a van der Pol-Duffing oscillator with the delay feedback are investigated, in which the strength of feedback control is a nonlinear function of delay. A geometrical method in conjunction with an analytical method is developed to identify the critical values for stability switches and Hopf bifurcations. The Hopf bifurcation curves and multi-stable regions are obtained as two parameters vary. Some weak resonant and non-resonant double Hopf bifurcation phenomena are observed due to the vanishing of the real parts of two pairs of characteristic roots on the margins of the “death island” regions simultaneously. By applying the center manifold theory, the normal forms near the double Hopf bifurcation points, as well as classifications of local dynamics are analyzed. Furthermore, some quasi-periodic and chaotic motions are verified in both theoretical and numerical ways.  相似文献

In this paper, a congestion control algorithm with heterogeneous delays in a wireless access network is considered. We regard the communication time delay as a bifurcating parameter to study the dynamical behaviors, i.e., local asymptotical stability, Hopf bifurcation and resonant codimension-two bifurcation. By analyzing the associated characteristic equation, the Hopf bifurcation occurs when the delay passes through a sequence of critical value. Furthermore, the direction and stability of the bifurcating periodic solutions are derived by applying the normal form theory and the center manifold theorem. In the meantime, the resonant codimension-two bifurcation is also found in this model. Some numerical examples are finally performed to verify the theoretical results.  相似文献

The dynamics of a reaction–diffusion plankton system with delay and toxic substances effect is considered. Existence and priori bound of a solution for a model without delay are shown. Global asymptotic stability of the axial equilibrium is obtained. The stability of the positive equilibrium and the existence of Hopf bifurcation are investigated by analyzing the distribution of eigenvalues. And the properties of Hopf bifurcation are determined by the normal form theory and the center manifold reduction for partial functional differential equations. Some numerical simulations are carried out for illustrating the theoretical results.  相似文献

In this paper, we study a delayed diffusive predator-prey model with fear effect and Holling II functional response. The stability of the positive equilibrium is investigated. We find that time delay can destabilize the stable equilibrium and induce Hopf bifurcation. Diffusion may lead to Turing instability and inhomogeneous periodic solutions. Through the theory of center manifold and normal form, some detailed formulas for determining the of Hopf bifurcation are presented. Some numerical simulations are also provided.  相似文献
