We construct the category of quotients of -spaces and we show that it is Abelian. This answers a question of L. Waelbroeck from 1990.  相似文献

We define various ring sequential convergences on and . We describe their properties and properties of their convergence completions. In particular, we define a convergence on by means of a nonprincipal ultrafilter on the positive prime numbers such that the underlying set of the completion is the ultraproduct of the prime finite fields Further, we show that is sequentially precompact but fails to be strongly sequentially precompact; this solves a problem posed by D. Dikranjan.  相似文献

We obtain the decomposition of the tensor space as a module for , find an explicit formula for the multiplicities of its irreducible summands, and (when n 2k) describe the centralizer algebra = ( ) and its representations. The multiplicities of the irreducible summands are derangement numbers in several important instances, and the dimension of is given by the number of derangements of a set of 2k elements.  相似文献

Let , be ultradistributions in and let and where is a sequence in which converges to the Dirac-delta function . Then the neutrix product is defined on the space of ultradistributions as the neutrix limit of the sequence provided the limit exist in the sense that
for all in . We also prove that the neutrix convolution product exist in , if and only if the neutrix product exist in and the exchange formula is then satisfied.  相似文献

Let denote the class of ergodic probability preserving transformations which are disjoint from every weakly mixing system. Let be the class of multipliers for , i.e. ergodic transformations whose all ergodic joinings with any element of are also in . Fix an ergodic rotationT, a mildly mixing actionS of a locally compact second countable groupG and an ergodic cocycle ϕ forT with values inG. The main result of the paper is a sufficient (and also necessary by [LeP] whenG is countable Abelian andS is Bernoullian) condition for the skew product build fromT, ϕ andS to be an element of . Moreover, the self-joinings of such extensions ofT are described with an application to study semisimple extensions of rotations. Let denote the Hardy space of real-valued functions on the unit circle with weak derivatives in the usual real Hardy space . It is shown that when the weak derivative of a locally Lipschitz continuous functionf has bounded variation on compact sets the Nemytskii operatorF, defined byF(u)=f·u, maps continuously into itself. A further condition sufficient for the continuous Fréchet differentiability ofF is then added.  相似文献

Some properties of absolutely continuous variational measures associated with local systems of sets are established. The classes of functions generating such measures are described. It is shown by constructing an example that there exists a -adic path system that defines a differentiation basis which does not possess Ward property.  相似文献

The problem of establishing necessary and sufficient conditions for l.s.c. under PDE constraints is studied for a special class of functionals:
with respect to the convergence un → u in measure, vn ⇀ v in Lp(Ω;ℝd) in W−1,p(Ω), and χn ⇀ χ in Lp(Ω), where χn ∈ Z:= {χ ∈ L(Ω): 0 ≤ χ(x) ≤ 1 for a.e. x}. Here is a constant-rank partial differential operator. The main result is that if the characteristic cone of has the full dimension, then the l.s.c. is equivalent to the fact that the F± are both -quasiconvex and
for a.e. x ∈ Ω and for all u ∈ ℝd. As a corollary, we obtain several results for the functional
with respect to the same convergence. We show that this functional is l.s.c. iff

We present a connection between -algebras and Yangians in the case of gl(N) algebras, as well as for twisted Yangians and super-Yangians. We illustrate this connection, which allows constructing an R-matrix for the -algebras and classifying their finite-dimensional irreducible representations, in the framework of the nonlinear Schrödinger equation in 1+1 dimensions.  相似文献

Using the concept of -convergence we provide a Korovkin type approximation theorem by means of positive linear operators defined on an appropriate weighted space given with any interval of the real line. We also study rates of convergence by means of the modulus of continuity and the elements of the Lipschitz class.  相似文献

Let be the set of nonnegative integers and the ring of integers. Let be the ring of N × N matrices over generated by the following two matrices: one obtained from the identity matrix by shifting the ones one position to the right and the other one position down. This ring plays an important role in the study of directly finite rings. Calculation of invertible and idempotent elements of yields that the subrings generated by them coincide. This subring is the sum of the ideal consisting of all matrices in with only a finite number of nonzero entries and the subring of generated by the identity matrix. Regular elements are also described. We characterize all ideals of , show that all ideals are finitely generated and that not all ideals of are principal. Some general ring theoretic properties of are also established.  相似文献

The concepts of an annihilator and a relative annihilator in an autometrized l-algebra are introduced. It is shown that every relative annihilator in a normal autometrized l-algebra is an ideal of and every principal ideal of is an annihilator of . The set of all annihilators of forms a complete lattice. The concept of an I-polar is introduced for every ideal I of . The set of all I-polars is a complete lattice which becomes a two-element chain provided I is prime. The I-polars are characterized as pseudocomplements in the lattice of all ideals of containing I.  相似文献

Furstenberg family and chaos   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3
A Furstenberg family F is a family, consisting of some subsets of the set of positive integers, which is hereditary upwards,i.e.A■B and A∈F imply B∈F.For a given system (i.e.,a pair of a complete metric space and a continuous self-map of the space) and for a Furstenberg family F, the definition of F-scrambled pairs of points in the space has been given, which brings the well-known scrambled pairs in Li-Yorke sense and the scrambled pairs in distribution sense to be F-scrambled pairs corresponding respectively to suitable Furstenberg family F.In the present paper we explore the basic properties of the set of F-scrambled pairs of a system. The generically F-chaotic system and the generically strongly F-chaotic system are defined.A criterion for a generically strongly F-chaotic system is showed.  相似文献

In this paper, certain natural and elementary polygonal objects in Euclidean space, the stable polygons, are introduced, and the novel moduli spaces of stable polygons are constructed as complex analytic spaces. Quite unexpectedly, these new moduli spaces are shown to be projective and isomorphic to the moduli space of the Deligne–Mumford stable curves of genus 0. Further, built into the structures of stable polygons are some natural data giving rise to a family of (classes of) symplectic (Kähler) forms. This, via the link to , brings up a new tool to study the Kähler topology of . A wild but precise conjecture on the shape of the Kähler cone of is given in the end.  相似文献

Let be a partially ordered set, Int the system of all (nonempty) intervals of partially ordered by the set-theoretical inclusion . We are interested in partially ordered sets with Int isomorphic to Int . We are going to show that they correspond to couples of binary relations on A satisfying some conditions. If is a directed partially ordered set, the only with Int isomorphic to Int are corresponding to direct decompositions of ( denotes the dual of . The present results include those presented in the paper [11] by V. Slavík. Systems of intervals, particularly of lattices, have been investigated by many authors, cf. [1]–[11].  相似文献

We compute in this paper the distribution of the area swept under the occupation process of an M/M/1 queue during a busy period. For this purpose, we use the expression of the Laplace transform of the random variable established in earlier studies as a fraction of Bessel functions. To get information on the poles and the residues of , we take benefit of the fact that this function can be represented by a continued fraction. We then show that this continued fraction is the even part of an S fraction and we identify its successive denominators by means of Lommel polynomials. This allows us to numerically evaluate the poles and the residues. Numerical evidence shows that the poles are very close to the numbers as . This motivated us to formulate some conjectures, which lead to the derivation of the asymptotic behaviour of the poles and the residues. This is finally used to derive the asymptotic behaviour of the probability survivor function . The outstanding property of the random variable is that the poles accumulate at 0 and its tail does not exhibit a nice exponential decay but a decay of the form for some positive constants c and , which indicates that the random variable has a Weibull-like tail.
