In this paper, we study the regularity of weak solution to the incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations. We obtain some sufficient conditions for regularity of weak solutions to the magnetohydrodynamic equations, which is similar to that of incompressible Navier-Stokes equations. Moreover, our results demonstrate that the velocity field of the fluid plays a more dominant role than the magnetic field does on the regularity of solution to the magneto-hydrodynamic equations.  相似文献

We study the regularity criteria for weak solutions to the incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations. Some regularity criteria are obtained for weak solutions to the magnetohydrodynamic equations, which generalize the results in [C. He, Z. Xin, On the regularity of solutions to the magneto-hydrodynamic equations, J. Differential Equations 213 (2) (2005) 235-254]. Our results reveal that the velocity field of the fluid plays a more dominant role than the magnetic field does on the regularity of solutions to the magnetohydrodynamic equations.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the regularity criterion for weak solutions to the incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations. We derive the regularity of weak solutions in the marginal class. Moreover, our result demonstrates that the velocity field of the fluid plays a more dominant role than the magnetic field does on the regularity of solutions to the magnetohydrodynamic equations.  相似文献

In this article the incompressible limits of weak solutions to the governing equations for magnetohydrodynamics flows on both bounded and unbounded domains are established. The governing equations for magnetohydrodynamic flows are expressed by the full Navier-Stokes system for compressible fluids enhanced by forces due to the presence of the magnetic field as well as the gravity and with an additional equation which describes the evolution of the magnetic field. The scaled analogues of the governing equations for magnetohydrodynamic flows involve the Mach number, Froude number and Alfven number. In the case of bounded domains the establishment of the singular limit relies on a detail analysis of the eigenvalues of the acoustic operator, whereas the case of unbounded domains is being treated by their suitable approximation by a family of bounded domains and the derivation of uniform bounds.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the 2-D nonhomogeneous incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations with variable viscosity and variable conductivity. We obtain the global existence of solutions for this system with initial data in the scaling invariant Besov spaces and without size restriction for the initial velocity and magnetic field.  相似文献

The compactness of weak solutions to the magnetohydrodynamic equations for the viscous, compressible, heat conducting fluids is considered in both the three-dimensional space R3 and the three-dimensional periodic domains. The viscosities, the heat conductivity as well as the magnetic coefficient are allowed to depend on the density, and may vanish on the vacuum. This paper provides a different idea from [X. Hu, D. Wang, Global solutions to the three-dimensional full compressible magnetohydrodynamic flows, Comm. Math. Phys. (2008), in press] to show the compactness of solutions of viscous, compressible, heat conducting magnetohydrodynamic flows, derives a new entropy identity, and shows that the limit of a sequence of weak solutions is still a weak solution to the compressible magnetohydrodynamic equations.  相似文献

In this paper, we are concerned with the partial regularity for suitable weak solutions of the tri-dimensional magnetohydrodynamic equations. With the help of the De Giorgi iteration method, we obtain the results proved by He and Xin (C. He, Z. Xin, Partial regularity of suitable weak solutions to the incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations, J. Funct. Anal. 227 (2005) 113–152), namely, the one dimensional parabolic Hausdorff measure of the possible singular points of the velocity field and the magnetic field is zero.  相似文献

We consider a system coupling the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations to the Vlasov-Fokker-Planck equation. The coupling arises from a drag force exerted by each other. We establish existence of global weak solutions for the system in two and three dimensions. Furthermore, we obtain the existence and uniqueness result of global smooth solutions for dimension two. In case of three dimensions, we also prove that strong solutions exist globally in time for the Vlasov-Stokes system.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider regularity criterion for the three-dimensional incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations. We present some sufficient integrability conditions on some components of the velocity and magnetic fields for the regularity of the weak solutions.  相似文献

The connection between the compressible viscous quantum magnetohydrodynamic model with low Mach number and the ideal incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations is studied in a periodic domain. More precisely, for well‐prepared initial data, we prove the convergence of classical solutions of the compressible viscous quantum magnetohydrodynamic model to the classical solutions of the incompressible ideal magnetohydrodynamic equations with a convergence rate when the Mach number, viscosity coefficient, and magnetic diffusion coefficient simultaneously tend to zero.  相似文献

We prove the existence of globally defined variational solutions to the compressible magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) equations with the coefficients depending on the temperature. As a by-product, we give a simple proof for the nonexistence of nontrivial weak time-periodic solutions by the entropy principle of Clausius–Duhem and a new Poincaré-type inequality.  相似文献

In this paper we give a new proof of the partial regularity of solutions to the incompressible Navier-Stokes equation in dimension 3 first proved by Caffarelli, Kohn and Nirenberg. The proof relies on a method introduced by De Giorgi for elliptic equations. This work was supported in part by NSF Grant DMS-0607953.  相似文献

In this paper we study the model of heat transfer in a porous medium with a critical diffusion. We obtain global existence and uniqueness of solutions to the equations of heat transfer of incompressible fluid in Besov spaces with 1?p?∞ by the method of modulus of continuity and Fourier localization technique.  相似文献

We consider the incompressible Navier–Stokes equations with spatially periodic boundary conditions. If the Reynolds number is small enough we provide an elementary short proof of the existence of global in time Hölder continuous solutions. Our proof uses a stochastic representation formula to obtain a decay estimate for heat flows in Hölder spaces, and a stochastic Lagrangian formulation of the Navier–Stokes equations.  相似文献

We study the regularity criteria for weak solutions to the incompressible magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) equations. Some regularity criteria, which are related only with u+B or u?B, are obtained for weak solutions to the MHD equations. Copyright © 2008 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

We consider suitable weak solutions of the incompressible Navier–Stokes equations in two cases: the 4D time-dependent case and the 6D stationary case. We prove that up to the boundary, the two-dimensional Hausdorff measure of the set of singular points is equal to zero in both cases.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the Cauchy problem for the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations with bounded initial data and derive a priori estimates of the maximum norm of all derivatives of the solution in terms of the maximum norm of the initial velocity field. For illustrative purposes, we first derive corresponding a priori estimates for certain parabolic systems. Because of the pressure term, the case of the Navier-Stokes equations is more difficult, however.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the incompressible limit of the three-dimensional compressible magnetohydrodynamic equations, which models the dynamics of compressible quasi-neutrally ionized fluids under the influence of electromagnetic fields. Based on the convergence-stability principle, we show that, when the Mach number, the shear viscosity coefficient, and the magnetic diffusion coefficient are sufficiently small, the initial-value problem of the model has a unique smooth solution in the time interval where the ideal incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations have a smooth solution. When the latter has a global smooth solution, the maximal existence time for the former tends to infinity as the Mach number, the shear viscosity coefficient, and the magnetic diffusion coefficient go to zero. Moreover, we obtain the convergence of smooth solutions for the model forwards those for the ideal incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations with a sharp convergence rate.  相似文献

The magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) equations of incompressible viscous fluids with finite electrical conductivity describe the motion of viscous electrically conducting fluids in a magnetic field. In this paper, we find eight families of solutions of these equations by Xu’s asymmetric and moving frame methods. A family of singular solutions may reflect basic characteristics of vortices. The other solutions are globally analytic with respect to the spacial variables. Our solutions may help engineers to develop more effective algorithms to find physical numeric solutions to practical models.  相似文献
