A non-autonomous competing system is investigated in this paper,where the species x can diffuse between two patches of a heterogeneous environment with barriers between patches,but for species y,the diffusion does not involve a barrier between patches,further it is assumed that all the parameters are time dependent. It is shown that the system can be made persistent under some appropriate conditions. Moreover,sufficient conditions that guarantee the existence of a unique positive periodic orbit which is globally asymptotic stable are derived.  相似文献

We consider a model for a population in a heterogeneous environment, with logistic-type local population dynamics, under the assumption that individuals can switch between two different nonzero rates of diffusion. Such switching behavior has been observed in some natural systems. We study how environmental heterogeneity and the rates of switching and diffusion affect the persistence of the population. The reactiondiffusion systems in the models can be cooperative at some population densities and competitive at others. The results extend our previous work on similar models in homogeneous environments. We also consider competition between two populations that are ecologically identical, but where one population diffuses at a fixed rate and the other switches between two different diffusion rates. The motivation for that is to gain insight into when switching might be advantageous versus diffusing at a fixed rate. This is a variation on the classical results for ecologically identical competitors with differing fixed diffusion rates, where it is well known that "the slower diffuser wins".  相似文献

In this paper,a set of suffcient conditions which ensure the permanence of a nonlinear periodic predator-prey system with prey dispersal and predator density-independence are obtained,where the prey species can disperse among n patches,while the density-independent predator is confined to one of the patches and cannot disperse. A three-species ratio-dependent predator-prey diffusion model with time de-lays is investigated. An n-species nonautonomous Lotka-Volterra competition and diffusion model with time delays is investigated. It is shown that the system is uniformly persistent under some appropriate conditions, and by using the skill of constructing an appropriate Lyapunov function, the new sufficient conditions are obtained for the global asymptotic stability and the uniqueness of the positive periodic solution.  相似文献

A predator-prey system with independent harvesting in either species and BeddingtonDeAngelis functional response is investigated. In this paper, a system of reaction-diffusion equations arising in ecoepidemiological systems is investigated. The equations model a situation in which a predator species and a prey species inhabit the same bounded region and the predator only eats the prey with transmissible diseases. Local stability of the constant positive solution is considered. A number of existence and non-existence results about the nonconstant steady states of a reaction diffusion system are given. It is proved that if the diffusion coefficient of the prey with disease is treated as a bifurcation parameter, non-constant positive steady-state solutions may bifurcate from the constant steadystate solution under some conditions.  相似文献

ABSTRACT. Diffusion problems under singular perturbations of the domain or the boundary conditions are analyzed. The first problem that we consider is the diffusion of a material from a domain that is nearly impermeable, having only several small patches on the boundary where the material can slowly leak out. The second problem that is studied is the diffusion of a material that originates from some localized regions in a two or three‐dimensional domain. Steady‐state solutions and the long‐time behavior of solutions are analyzed in detail. Finally, the analysis is extended to determine the change in bifurcation values associated with nonlinear diffusion equations under singular perturbations of the domain. In this paper, a nonlinear nonautonomous predator–prey model with diffusion and continuous distributed delay is studied, where all the parameters are time-dependent. The system, which is composed of two patches, has two species: the prey can diffuse between two patches, but the predator is confined to one patch. We first discuss the uniform persistence and global asymptotic stability of the model; after that, by constructing a suitable Lyapunov functional, some sufficient conditions for the existence of a unique almost periodic solution of the system are obtained.
