A Finite Difference Scheme for Blow-Up Solutions of Nonlinear Wave Equations

<正>We consider a finite difference scheme for a nonlinear wave equation,whose solutions may lose their smoothness in finite time,i.e.,blow up in finite time.In order to numerically reproduce blow-up solutions,we propose a rule for a time-stepping, which is a variant of what was successfully used in the case of nonlinear parabolic equations.A numerical blow-up time is defined and is proved to converge,under a certain hypothesis,to the real blow-up time as the grid size tends to zero.     

KAM Theory for Partial Differential Equations

In the last years much progress has been achieved in KAM theory concerning bifurcation of quasi-periodic solutions of Hamiltonian or reversible partial differential equations.We provide an overview of the state of the art in this field.

Local Unstable Entropy and Local Unstable Pressure for Partially Hyperbolic Endomorphisms*

In this paper, local unstable metric entropy, local unstable topological entropy and local unstable pressure for partially hyperbolic endomorphisms are introduced and investigated. Specially, two variational principles concerning relationships among the above mentioned numbers are formulated.     

A Direct Method of Moving Planes to Fractional Power SubLaplace Equations on the Heisenberg Group

We give the direct method of moving planes for solutions to the conformally invariant fractional power sub Laplace equation on the Heisenberg group.The method is based on four maximum principles derived here.Then symmetry and nonexistence of positive cylindrical solutions are proved.     

Nonconforming Finite Element Methods for the Constrained Optimal Control Problems Governed by Nonsmooth Elliptic Equations

In this paper,nonconforming finite element methods(FEMs)are proposed for the constrained optimal control problems(OCPs)governed by the nonsmooth elliptic equations,in which the popular EQr1 ot element is employed to approximate the state and adjoint state,and the piecewise constant element is used to approximate the control.Firstly,the convergence and superconvergence properties for the nonsmooth elliptic equation are obtained by introducing an auxiliary problem.Secondly,the goal-oriented error estimates are obtained for the objective function through establishing the negative norm error estimate.Lastly,the methods are extended to some other well-known nonconforming elements.

Hölder,Sobolev,weak-type and BMO estimates in mixed-norm with weights for parabolic equations

We prove weighted mixed-norm Lqt(W2,px)and Lqt(C2,αx)estimates for 10,x∈Rn.x∈Rn,The coefficients a(t)=(aij(t))are just bounded,measurable,symmetric and uniformly elliptic.Furthermore,we show strong,weak type and BMO-Sobolev estimates with parabolic Muckenhoupt weights.It is quite remarkable that most of our results are new even for the classical heat equation?tu?Δu+u=f.     

ON THE DIFFERENTIAL AND DIFFERENCE INDEPENDENCE OFΓANDζ

In this paper,we study the algebraic differential and the difference independence between the Riemann zeta function and the Euler gamma function.It is proved that the Riemann zeta function and the Euler gamma function cannot satisfy a class of nontrivial algebraic differential equations and algebraic difference equations.     

PRECISE VALUES OF THE BLOCH CONSTANTS OF CERTAIN LOG-p-HARMONIC MAPPINGS

The aim of this article is twofold.One aim is to establish the precise forms of Landau-Bloch type theorems for certain polyharmonic mappings in the unit disk by applying a geometric method.The other is to obtain the precise values of Bloch constants for certain log-p-harmonic mappings.These results improve upon the corresponding results given in Bai et al.(Complex Anal.Oper.Theory,13(2):321-340,2019).     

Hyperbolic Mapping Classes and Their Lifts on the Bers Fiber Space

Let S be a Riemann surface with genus p and n punctures. Assume that 3p - 3 n ＞ 0 and n ≥ 1. Let a be a puncture of S and let (～S) = S ∪ {a}. Then all mapping classes in the mapping class group Mods that fixes the puncture a can be projected to mapping classes of Mod(～S) under the forgetful map. In this paper the author studies the mapping classes in Mods that can be projected to a given hyperbolic mapping class in Mod(～S).     

Wavelets and Geometric Structure for Function Spaces

Abstract With Littlewood–Paley analysis, Peetre and Triebel classified, systematically, almost all the usual function spaces into two classes of spaces: Besov spaces and Triebel–Lizorkin spaces ; but the structure of dual spaces of is very different from that of Besov spaces or that of Triebel–Lizorkin spaces, and their structure cannot be analysed easily in the Littlewood–Paley analysis. Our main goal is to characterize in tent spaces with wavelets. By the way, some applications are given: (i) Triebel–Lizorkin spaces for p = ∞ defined by Littlewood–Paley analysis cannot serve as the dual spaces of Triebel–Lizorkin spaces for p = 1; (ii) Some inclusion relations among these above spaces and some relations among and L ¹ are studied. The normal subgroup structure of the extended Hecke groups

We consider the extended Hecke groups generated by T(z) = −1/z, S(z) = −1/(z + λ) and R(z) = 1/z with λ ≥ 2. In this paper, firstly, we study the fundamental region of the extended Hecke groups . Then, we determine the abstract group structure of the commutator subgroups , the even subgroup , and the power subgroups of the extended Hecke groups . Also, finally, we give some relations between them.     

On the Convergence of Products γ^-sh1hn in the Adams Spectral Sequence

Abstract Let A be the mod p Steenrod algebra and S the sphere spectrum localized at p, where p is an odd prime. In 2001 Lin detected a new family in the stable homotopy of spheres which is represented by （b0hn-h1bn-1）∈ ExtA^3,（p^n＋p）q（Zp,Zp） in the Adams spectral sequence. At the same time, he proved that i.（hlhn） ∈ExtA^2,（p^n＋P）q（H^＊M, Zp） is a permanent cycle in the Adams spectral sequence and converges to a nontrivial element ξn∈π（p^n＋p）q-2M. In this paper, with Lin＇s results, we make use of the Adams spectral sequence and the May spectral sequence to detect a new nontrivial family of homotopy elements jj′j^-γsi^-i′ξn in the stable homotopy groups of spheres. The new one is of degree p^nq ＋ sp^2q ＋ spq ＋ （s - 2）q ＋ s - 6 and is represented up to a nonzero scalar by hlhnγ-s in the E2^s＋2,＊-term of the Adams spectral sequence, where p ≥ 7, q = 2（p - 1）, n ≥ 4 and 3 ≤ s 〈 p.

Pseudo unitary conformal groups and Clifford algebras for standard pseudo hermitian spaces

This paper, self-contained, deals with pseudo-unitary spin geometry. First, we present pseudo-unitary conformal structures over a 2n-dimensional complex manifold V and the corresponding projective quadrics for standard pseudo-hermitian spaces H_p,q. Then we develop a geometrical presentation of a compactification for pseudo-hermitian standard spaces in order to construct the pseudo-unitary conformal group of H_p,q. We study the topology of the projective quadrics and the “generators” of such projective quadrics. Then we define the space S of spinors canonically associated with the pseudo-hermitian scalar product of signature (2ⁿ⁻¹, 2ⁿ⁻¹). The spinorial group Spin U(p,q) is imbedded into SU(2ⁿ⁻¹, 2ⁿ⁻¹). At last, we study the natural imbeddings of the projective quadrics
