The absence of exactness in the observation of the outcomes of a random experiment always entails a loss of information about the experimental distribution. This intuitive assertion will be formally proved in this paper by using a mathematical model involving the notions of fuzzy information and fuzzy information system (as intended by Tanaka, Okuda and Asai) and Zadeh's probabilistic definition. On the basis of this model we are first going to consider a family of measures of information enclosing some well-known measures, such as those defined by Kagan, Kullback-Leibler and Matusita, and then to establish methods for removing the loss of information due to fuzziness by increasing suitably the number of experimental observations. 相似文献

The measure of uncertainty is adopted as a measure of information. The measures of fuzziness are known as fuzzy information measures. The measure of a quantity of fuzzy information gained from a fuzzy set or fuzzy system is known as fuzzy entropy. Fuzzy entropy has been focused and studied by many researchers in various fields. In this paper, firstly, the axiomatic definition of fuzzy entropy is discussed. Then, neural networks model of fuzzy entropy is proposed, based on the computing capability of neural networks. The article introduces a special issue of the journal Metaphysica on vagueness and ontology. The conventional view has it that all vagueness is semantic or representational. Russell, Dummett, Evans and Lewis, inter alia, have argued that the notion of “ontic” or “metaphysical” vagueness is not even intelligible. In recent years, a growing minority of philosophers have tried to make sense of the notion and have spelled it out in various ways. The article gives an overview and relates the idea of ontic vagueness to the unquestioned phenomenon of fuzzy spatiotemporal boundaries and to the associated “problem of the many”. It briefly discusses the question of whether ontic vagueness can be spelled out in terms of “vague identity”, emphasizes the often neglected role of the difference between sortal and non-sortal ontologies and suggests a deflationary answer to the ill-conceived question of whether the “ultimate source” of vagueness lies either in language or in the world. 相似文献

Systems of linear inequalities are important tools to formulate optimization problems. However, the feasibility of the whole system was often presumed true in most models. Even if an infeasible system could be detected, it is in general not easy to tell which part of the system caused it. This motivates the study of continuous linear inequalities, given no information whether it is feasible or not, what is the largest possible portion of the system that can be remained in consistency? We first propose a bisection-based algorithm which comes with an auxiliary program to answer the question. For further accelerating the algorithm, several novel concepts, one called “constraint weighting” and the other called “shooting technique”, are introduced to explore intrinsic problem structures. This new scheme eventually replaces the bisection method and its validity can be justified via a solid probabilistic analysis. Numerical examples and applications to fuzzy inequalities are reported to illustrate the robustness of our algorithm. 相似文献

重大灾害下应急物资储备决策是阻止突发灾难蔓延的有效手段之一。针对救灾信息具备不确定性与复杂性特点,构建基于区间二型梯形模糊集的应急物资储备动态协同决策模型,并给出应急物资储备策略。利用区间二型模糊集理论的决策方案并结合比例分析法(COPRAS),构建常态环境下应急物资供应商选择的群决策模型,解决不相容群决策属性之间的冲突问题;进而,充分考虑“救灾阶段性动态时间因素”对储备决策的影响,构建动态救灾环境下应急物资储备结构模糊优化模型,实现常态决策与非常态应急决策之间的动态协同;最后,以2012年云南丽江“6.14”突发特大山洪灾害为实例进行数值分析,验证该动态协同决策模型的合理性与可行性,能有效解决动态救灾环境下应急物资储备结构优化问题。 相似文献

Project scheduling problem is to determine the schedule of allocating resources so as to balance the total cost and the completion time. This paper considers project scheduling problem with mixed uncertainty of randomness and fuzziness, where activity duration times are assumed to be random fuzzy variables. Three types of random fuzzy models as expected cost minimization model, (α, β)-cost minimization model and chance maximization model are built to meet different management requirements. Random fuzzy simulations for some uncertain functions are given and embedded into genetic algorithm to design a hybrid intelligent algorithm. Finally, some numerical experiments are given for the sake of illustration of the effectiveness of the algorithm. 相似文献
