Gap functions play a crucial role in transforming a variational inequality problem into an optimization problem. Then, methods solving an optimization problem can be exploited for finding a solution of a variational inequality problem. It is known that the so-called prevariational inequality is closely related to some generalized convex functions, such as linear fractional functions. In this paper, gap functions for several kinds of prevariational inequalities are investigated. More specifically, prevariational inequalities, extended prevariational inequalities, and extended weak vector prevariational inequalities are considered. Furthermore, a class of gap functions for inequality constrained prevariational inequalities is investigated via a nonlinear Lagrangian.  相似文献

This paper develops further the theory of symmetrization of fractional Laplacian operators contained in recent works of two of the authors.This theory leads to optimal estimates in the form of concentration comparison inequalities for both elliptic and parabolic equations.The authors extend the theory for the so-called restricted fractional Laplacian defined on a bounded domain Ω of]RN with zero Dirichlet conditions outside of Ω.As an application,an original proof of the corresponding fractional Faber-Krahn inequality is derived.A more classical variational proof of the inequality is also provided.  相似文献

The primary objective of this paper is to explore a decay mild solution governed by a class of dynamical systems, called Hilfer fractional differential variational–hemivariational inequality (HFDVHVI, for short), which is composed of a Hilfer fractional evolution differential inclusion and a variational–hemivariational inequality involving two history-dependent operators in the framework of spaces. Our first aim is to investigate the solvability of the mild solutions to (HFDVHVI) by means of fixed point principle. The second step of the paper is to study the existence of decay mild solutions to (HFDVHVI) via giving expression for the Mittag-Leffler function and the Wright function.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to a generalized evolution system called fractional partial differential variational inequality which consists of a mixed quasi-variational inequality combined with a fractional partial differential equation in a Banach space. Invoking the pseudomonotonicity of multivalued operators and a generalization of the Knaster-Kuratowski-Mazurkiewicz theorem, first, we prove that the solution set of the mixed quasi-variational inequality involved in system is nonempty, closed and convex. Next, the measurability and upper semicontinuity for the mixed quasi-variational inequality with respect to the time variable and state variable are established. Finally, the existence of mild solutions for the system is delivered. The approach is based on the theory of operator semigroups, the Bohnenblust-Karlin fixed point principle for multivalued mappings, and theory of fractional operators.

This paper deals with a class of non-local equations involving the fractional p-Laplacian, where the non-linear term is assumed to have critical exponential growth. More specifically, by applying variational methods together with a suitable Trudinger-Moser inequality for fractional Sobolev space, we obtain the existence of at least two positive weak solutions.  相似文献

We study a stochastic control system involving both a standard and a fractional Brownian motion with Hurst parameter less than 1/2. We apply an anticipative Girsanov transformation to transform the system into another one, driven only by the standard Brownian motion with coefficients depending on both the fractional Brownian motion and the standard Brownian motion. We derive a maximum principle and the associated stochastic variational inequality, which both are generalizations of the classical case.  相似文献

本文利用例外簇方法研究非强制混合向量变分不等式的弱有效解的存在性:首先证明若混合向量变分不等式问题不存在例外簇,则混合向量变分不等式问题的弱有效解集为非空集合:利用向量值映射的渐近映射给出自反Banach空间中非强制混合向量变分不等式的弱有效解集不存在例外簇的充分条件,从而得到混合向量变分不等式问题的弱有效解的存在性结果;我们研究了当算子为余正仿射算子时,给出混合仿射向量变分不等式不存在例外簇的充分条件,得到混合仿射向量变分不等式弱有效解的存在性,给出了混合仿射向量变分不等式的弱有效解集为非空紧致集的充分条件.将Iusem等人(2019)在有限维空间中标量混合变分不等式解的存在性结果推广到自反Banach空间中混合向量变分不等式.  相似文献

In this paper, the image space analysis is applied to investigate scalar-valued gap functions and their applications for a (parametric)-constrained vector variational inequality. Firstly, using a non-linear regular weak separation function in image space, a gap function of a constrained vector variational inequality is obtained without any assumptions. Then, as an application of the gap function, two error bounds for the constrained vector variational inequality are derived by means of the gap function under some mild assumptions. Further, a parametric gap function of a parametric constrained vector variational inequality is presented. As an application of the parametric gap function, a sufficient condition for the continuity of the solution map of the parametric constrained vector variational inequality is established within the continuity and strict convexity of the parametric gap function. These assumptions do not include any information on the solution set of the parametric constrained vector variational inequality.  相似文献

We prove a regularity result in the two-dimensional theory of soft ferromagnetic films. The associated Euler–Lagrange equation is given by a nonlocal degenerate variational inequality involving fractional derivatives. A difference quotient type argument based on a dual formulation in terms of magnetostatic potentials yields a Hölder estimate for the uniquely determined gradient projection of the magnetization field.  相似文献

In this paper, we study a generalized weak vector variational inequality, which is a generalization of a weak vector variational inequality and a Minty weak vector variational inequality. By virtue of a contingent derivative and a Φ-contingent cone, we investigate differential properties of a class of set-valued maps and obtain an explicit expression of its contingent derivative. We also establish some necessary optimality conditions for solutions of the generalized weak vector variational inequality, which generalize the corresponding results in the literature. Furthermore, we establish some unified necessary and sufficient optimality conditions for local optimal solutions of the generalized weak vector variational inequality. Simultaneously, we also show that there is no gap between the necessary and sufficient conditions under an appropriate condition.  相似文献

The boundary element approximation of the parabolic variational inequalities of the second kind is discussed. First, the parabolic variational inequalities of the second kind can be reduced to an elliptic variational inequality by using semidiscretization and implicit method in time; then the existence and uniqueness for the solution of nonlinear non-differentiable mixed variational inequality is discussed. Its corresponding mixed boundary variational inequality and the existence and uniqueness of its solution are yielded. This provides the theoretical basis for using boundary element method to solve the mixed vuriational inequality.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the existence of an optimal control problem for a quasi-linear elliptic obstacle variational inequality in which the obstacle is taken as the control. Firstly, we get some existence results under the assumption of the leading operator of the variational inequality with a monotone type mapping in Section 2. In Section 3, as an application, without the assumption of the monotone type mapping for the leading operator of the variational inequality, we prove that the leading operator of the variational inequality is a monotone type mapping. Existence of the optimal obstacle is proved. The method used here is different from [Y.Y. Zhou, X.Q. Yang, K.L. Teo, The existence results for optimal control problems governed by a variational inequality, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 321 (2006) 595-608].  相似文献

In this paper, we study strict feasibility of a bifunction variational inequality. It is proved that a monotone bifunction variational inequality has a nonempty and bounded solution set if and only if it is strictly feasible. Stable solvability of the bifunction variational inequality is discussed under strict feasibility assumption when the domain set is perturbed. Our results generalize earlier results on the classical variational inequality to the case of the bifunction variational inequality.  相似文献

In this paper we present a priori error estimates for the Galerkin solution of variational inequalities which are formulated in fractional Sobolev trace spaces, i.e. in $\widetilde{H}^{1/2}(\Gamma )$ . In addition to error estimates in the energy norm we also provide, by applying the Aubin–Nitsche trick for variational inequalities, error estimates in lower order Sobolev spaces including $L_2(\Gamma )$ . The resulting discrete variational inequality is solved by using a semi-smooth Newton method, which is equivalent to an active set strategy. A numerical example is given which confirms the theoretical results.  相似文献

This paper introduces a new concept of exceptional family of elements for a finite-dimensional generalized variational inequality problem. Based on the topological degree theory of set-valued mappings, an alternative theorem is obtained which says that the generalized variational inequality has either a solution or an exceptional family of elements. As an application, we present a sufficient condition to ensure the existence of a solution to the variational inequality. The set-valued mapping is assumed to be upper semicontinuous with nonempty compact convex values.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a variational inequality with a variational inequality constraint over a set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping called triple hierarchical variational inequality. We propose two iterative methods, one is implicit and another one is explicit, to compute the approximate solutions of our problem. We present an example of our problem.
