In this paper, we consider two new regularity criteria for the 3D Navier–Stokes equations involving partial components of the velocity in multiplier spaces. It is proved that if the horizontal velocity ? = (u 1,u 2,0) satisfies $$\int_{0}^{T} \frac{\|\tilde{u}\|_{\dot{X}_{r}}^{\frac{2}{1-r}}}{1+ln(e + \|u(t,.)\|_{\infty})}{\rm d}t < \infty, \quad r \in[0, 1),$$ or the horizontal gradient field satisfies $$\int_{0}^{T}\frac{\|\nabla_{h}\tilde{u}\|_{\dot{X}_{r}}^{\frac{2}{2-r}}}{1 + ln(e + \|u(t,.)\|_{\infty})}{\rm d}t < \infty, \quad r \in[0, 1],$$ then the local strong solution remains smooth on [0, T].  相似文献

For p > 1, we establish existence and asymptotic behavior of a positive continuous solution to the following boundary value problem $$\left\{\begin{array}{ll}\frac{1}{A} \left( A\Phi _{p}(u^{\prime})\right) ^{\prime}+a_{1}(r)u^{\alpha _{1}}+a_{2}(r)u^{\alpha _{2}}=0, \, {\rm in}\, (0,\infty ),\\ {\rm lim}_{r\rightarrow 0} A\Phi _{p}(u^{\prime})(r)=0, {\rm lim}_{r\rightarrow \infty } u(r)=0,\end{array}\right.$$ where \({\alpha _{1}, \alpha _{2} < p -1, \Phi _{p}(t) = t|t| ^{p-2},A}\) is a positive differentiable function and a 1, a 2 are two positive functions in \({C_{\rm loc}^{\gamma}((0, \infty )), 0 < \gamma < 1,}\) satisfying some appropriate assumptions related to Karamata regular variation theory. Also, we obtain an uniqueness result when \({\alpha _{1}, \alpha _{2} \in (1-p,p-1)}\) . Our arguments combine a method of sub and supersolutions with Karamata regular variation theory.  相似文献

Let (T t ) t?≥ 0 be a bounded analytic semigroup on L p (Ω), with 1?<?p?<?∞. Let ?A denote its infinitesimal generator. It is known that if A and A * both satisfy square function estimates ${\bigl\|\bigl(\int_{0}^{\infty} \vert A^{\frac{1}{2}} T_t(x)\vert^2 {\rm d}t \bigr)^{\frac{1}{2}}\bigr\|_{L^p} \lesssim \|x\|_{L^p}}$ and ${\bigl\|\bigl(\int_{0}^{\infty} \vert A^{*\frac{1}{2}} T_t^*(y) \vert^2 {\rm d}t \bigr)^{\frac{1}{2}}\bigr\|_{L^{p^\prime}} \lesssim \|y\|_{L^{p^\prime}}}$ for ${x\in L^p(\Omega)}$ and ${y\in L^{p^\prime}(\Omega)}$ , then A admits a bounded ${H^{\infty}(\Sigma_\theta)}$ functional calculus for any ${\theta>\frac{\pi}{2}}$ . We show that this actually holds true for some ${\theta<\frac{\pi}{2}}$ .  相似文献

Let N ≥ 5 and \({{\mathcal{D}}^{2,2} (\mathbb{R}^N)}\) denote the closure of \({C_0^\infty (\mathbb{R}^N)}\) in the norm \({\|u\|_{{\mathcal{D}}^{2,2} (\mathbb{R}^N)}^2 := \int\nolimits_{\mathbb{R}^N} |\Delta u|^2.}\) Let \({K \in C^2 (\mathbb{R}^N).}\) We consider the following problem for ? ≥ 0: $$(P_\varepsilon) \left\{\begin{array}{llll}{\rm Find} \, u \in {\mathcal{D}}^{2, 2} (\mathbb{R}^N) \, \, {\rm solving} :\\ \left.\begin{array}{lll}\Delta^2 u = (1+ \varepsilon K (x)) u^{\frac{N+4}{N-4}}\\ u > 0 \end{array}\right\}{\rm in} \, \mathbb{R}^N.\end{array}\right.$$ We show an exact multiplicity result for (P ? ) for all small ? > 0.  相似文献

The Dirichlet problem $$ \left\{ \begin{array}{l}\Delta _\infty u - |Du|^2 = 0 \quad {\rm on} \, \Omega \subset {{\mathbb R}^n} \\ u|\partial \Omega = g \\\end{array} \right. $$ might have many solutions, where ${\Delta_{\infty}u=\sum_{1\leq i,j\leq n}u_{x_i}u_{x_j}u_{x_ix_j}}$ . In this paper, we prove that the maximal solution is the unique absolute minimizer for ${H(p,z)={\frac{1}{2}}|p|^2-z}$ from calculus of variations in L and the minimal solution is the continuum value function from the “tug-of-war” game. We will also characterize graphes of solutions which are neither an absolute minimizer nor a value function. A remaining interesting question is how to interpret those intermediate solutions. Most of our approaches are based on an idea of Barles–Busca (Commun Partial Differ Equ 26(11–12):2323–2337, 2001).  相似文献

In this note we prove a logarithmically improved regularity criterion in terms of the Besov space norm for the Navier–Stokes equations. The result shows that if a mild solution u satisfies ${\int_{0}^{T}\frac{\|u (t,\cdot)\|_{{\dot{B}}_{\infty,\infty}^{-r}}^{\frac{2}{1-r}}}{1+\ln(e+\| u(t,\cdot)\|_{H^{s}})}\text{d}t < \infty}$ for some 0?≤ r?<?1 and ${s\geq\frac{n}{2}-1}$ , then u is regular at t?=?T.  相似文献

We will give a necessary and sufficient condition for the family {F t :?t??? 0} of multifunctions ${F_t(x) = \sum_{i=0}^{\infty} \frac{t^i}{i!}G^i(x)}$ , where G is a continuous and additive multifunction, to be an iteration semigroup.  相似文献

We investigate the asymptotic behaviour as p of sequences of positive weak solutions of the equation $$\left\{\begin{array}{l}-\Delta_p u = \lambda\,u^{p-1}+ u^{q(p)-1}\quad {\rm in}\quad \Omega,\\ u = 0 \quad {\rm on}\quad \partial\Omega,\end{array} \right.$$ where λ > 0 and either 1 < q(p) < p or pq(p), with ${{\lim_{p\to\infty}{q(p)}/{p}=Q\neq1}}$ . Uniform limits are characterized as positive viscosity solutions of the problem $$\left\{\begin{array}{l}\min\left\{|\nabla u (x)| - \max\{\Lambda\,u (x),u ^Q(x)\}, -\Delta_{\infty}u (x)\right\} = 0 \quad {\rm in} \quad \Omega,\\ u = 0\quad {\rm on}\quad \partial\Omega.\end{array}\right.$$ for appropriate values of Λ > 0. Due to the decoupling of the nonlinearity under the limit process, the limit problem exhibits an intermediate behavior between an eigenvalue problem and a problem with a power-like right-hand side. Existence and non-existence results for both the original and the limit problems are obtained.  相似文献

We consider the following q-eigenvalue problem for the p-Laplacian $$\left\{\begin{array}{ll}-{\rm div}\big( |\nabla u|^{p-2}\nabla u\big) = \lambda \|u\|_{L^{q}(\Omega)}^{p-q}|u|^{q-2}u \quad \quad\, {\rm in} \,\,\,\, \Omega\\ \quad\quad\quad \quad \quad \quad u = 0 \quad\qquad\qquad \quad\quad \,\,{\rm on } \,\,\,\, \partial\Omega,\end{array}\right.$$ where \({\lambda\in\mathbb{R},}\) p > 1, Ω is a bounded and smooth domain of \({\mathbb{R}^{N},}\) N > 1, \({1\leq q < p^{\star}}\) , \({p^{\star}=\frac{Np}{N-p}}\) if p < N and \({p^{\star}=\infty}\) if \({p\geq N.}\) Let λ q denote the first q-eigenvalue. We prove that in the super-linear case, \({p < q < p^{\star},}\) there exists \({\epsilon_{q}>0}\) such that if \({\lambda\in(\lambda_{q},\lambda _{q}+\epsilon_{q})}\) is a q-eigenvalue, then any corresponding q-eigenfunction does not change sign in Ω. As a consequence of this result we obtain, in the super-linear case, the isolatedness of λ q for those Ω such that the Lane–Emden problem $$\left\{\begin{array}{ll}-{\rm div}\big(|\nabla u|^{p-2}\nabla u\big) = |u|^{q-2}u \qquad\quad\quad\quad \,\,{\rm in}\,\,\,\Omega\\ \quad\quad\quad \quad \quad \quad u = 0 \quad\qquad\qquad \quad\quad \,{\rm on } \,\,\, \partial\Omega,\end{array}\right.$$ has exactly one positive solution.  相似文献

A lower semicontinuity and relaxation result with respect to weak-* convergence of measures is derived for functionals of the form $$\mu \in \mathcal{M}(\Omega; \mathbb{R}^d) \to \int \limits_\Omega f(\mu^a(x))\,{\rm {d}}x +\int \limits_\Omega f^\infty \left( \frac{{\rm{d}}\mu^s}{d|\mu^s|}(x)\right) \, d| \mu^s|(x),$$ where admissible sequences {μ n } are such that ${\{{\mathcal{A}}\mu_{n}\}}$ converges to zero strongly in ${W^{-1 q}_{\rm loc}(\Omega)}$ and ${\mathcal {A}}$ is a partial differential operator with constant rank. The integrand f has linear growth and L -bounds from below are not assumed.  相似文献

Let \({\mathbb{K} \in \{\mathbb{R}, \mathbb{C}\}, I = (d, \infty), \phi : I \to I}\) be unbounded continuous and increasing, X be a normed space over \({\mathbb{K}, \mathcal{F} : = \{f \in X^I : {\rm lim}_{t \to \infty} f(t) {\rm exists} \, {\rm in} X\},\hat{a} \in \mathbb{K}, \mathcal{A}(\hat{a}) : = \{\alpha \in \mathbb{K}^I : {\rm lim}_{t \to \infty} \alpha(t) = \hat{a}\},}\) and \({\mathcal{X} : = \{x \in X^I : {\rm lim} \, {\rm sup}_{t \to \infty} \|x(t)\| < \infty\}}\) . We prove that the limit lim t → ∞ x(t) exists for every \({f \in \mathcal{F}, \alpha \in \mathcal{A}(\hat{a})}\) and every solution \({x \in \mathcal{X}}\) of the functional equation $$x(\phi(t)) = \alpha(t) x(t) + f(t)$$ if and only if \({|\hat{a}| \neq 1}\) . Using this result we study behaviour of bounded at infinity solutions of the functional equation $$x(\phi^{[k]}(t)) = \sum_{j=0}^{k-1} \alpha_j(t) x (\phi^{[j]}(t)) + f(t),$$ under some conditions posed on functions \({\alpha_j(t), j = 0, 1,\ldots, k - 1,\phi}\) and f.  相似文献

The generalized weighted mean operator ${\mathbf{M}^{g}_{w}}$ is given by $$[\mathbf{M}^{g}_{w}f](x) = g^{-1} \left( \frac{1}{W(x)} \int \limits_{0}^{x}w(t)g(f(t))\,{\rm d}t \right),$$ with $$W(x) = \int \limits_{0}^{x} w(s) {\rm d}s, \quad {\rm for} \, x \in (0, + \infty),$$ where w is a positive measurable function on (0, + ∞) and g is a real continuous strictly monotone function with its inverse g ?1. We give some sufficient conditions on weights u, v on (0, + ∞) for which there exists a positive constant C such that the weighted strong type (p, q) inequality $$\left( \int \limits_{0}^{\infty} u(x) \Bigl( [\mathbf{M}^{g}_{w}f](x) \Bigr)^{q} {\rm d}x \right)^{1 \over q} \leq C \left( \int \limits_{0}^{\infty}v(x)f(x)^{p} {\rm d}x \right)^{1 \over p}$$ holds for every measurable non-negative function f, where the positive reals p,q satisfy certain restrictions.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the existence of minimizers for $$F(u) = \frac{1}{2} \int_{\mathbb{R}^3} |\nabla u|^{2} {\rm d}x + \frac{1}{4} \int_{\mathbb{R}^3} \int_{\mathbb{R}^3} \frac{| u(x)|^2 | u(y)|^2}{| x-y|} {\rm d}x{\rm d}y-\frac{1}{p} \int_{\mathbb{R}^3}|u|^p {\rm d}x$$ on the constraint $$S(c) = \{u \in H^1(\mathbb{R}^3) : \int_{\mathbb{R}^3}|u|^2 {\rm d}x = c\}$$ , where c >  0 is a given parameter. In the range ${p \in [3,\frac{10}{3}]}$ , we explicit a threshold value of c >  0 separating existence and nonexistence of minimizers. We also derive a nonexistence result of critical points of F(u) restricted to S(c) when c >  0 is sufficiently small. Finally, as a by-product of our approaches, we extend some results of Colin et al. (Nonlinearity 23(6):1353–1385, 2010) where a constrained minimization problem, associated with a quasi-linear equation, is considered.  相似文献

We study limit behavior for sums of the form $\frac{1}{|\Lambda_{L|}}\sum_{x\in \Lambda_{L}}u(t,x),$ where the field $\Lambda_L=\left\{x\in {\bf{Z^d}}:|x|\le L\right\}$ is composed of solutions of the parabolic Anderson equation $$u(t,x) = 1 + \kappa \mathop{\int}_{0}^{t} \Delta u(s,x){\rm d}s + \mathop{\int}_{0}^{t}u(s,x)\partial B_{x}(s). $$ The index set is a box in Z d , namely $\Lambda_{L} = \left\{x\in {\bf Z}^{\bf d} : |x| \leq L\right\}$ and L = L(t) is a nondecreasing function $L : [0,\infty)\rightarrow {\bf R}^{+}. $ We identify two critical parameters $\eta(1) < \eta(2)$ such that for $\gamma > \eta(1)$ and L(t) = eγ t , the sums $\frac{1}{|\Lambda_L|}\sum_{x\in \Lambda_L}u(t,x)$ satisfy a law of large numbers, or put another way, they exhibit annealed behavior. For $\gamma > \eta(2)$ and L(t) = eγ t , one has $\sum_{x\in \Lambda_L}u(t,x)$ when properly normalized and centered satisfies a central limit theorem. For subexponential scales, that is when $\lim_{t \rightarrow \infty} \frac{1}{t}\ln L(t) = 0,$ quenched asymptotics occur. That means $\lim_{t\rightarrow \infty}\frac{1}{t}\ln\left (\frac{1}{|\Lambda_L|}\sum_{x\in \Lambda_L}u(t,x)\right) = \gamma(\kappa),$ where $\gamma(\kappa)$ is the almost sure Lyapunov exponent, i.e. $\lim_{t\rightarrow \infty}\frac{1}{t}\ln u(t,x)= \gamma(\kappa).$ We also examine the behavior of $\frac{1}{|\Lambda_L|}\sum_{x\in \Lambda_L}u(t,x)$ for L = e γ t with γ in the transition range $(0,\eta(1))$   相似文献

Of concern is the nonlinear hyperbolic problem with nonlinear dynamic boundary conditions $$\left\{ \begin{array}{lll} u_{tt} ={\rm div} (\mathcal{A} \nabla u)-\gamma (x,u_t), && \quad {\rm in} \; (0, \infty) \times \Omega,\\ u(0, \cdot)=f, \, u_t(0,\cdot)=g, && \quad {\rm in}\; \Omega, \\ u_{tt} + \beta \partial^ \mathcal{A}_\nu u+c(x)u+ \delta (x,u_t)-q \beta \Lambda_{\rm LB} u=0,&& \quad {\rm on} \;(0, \infty ) \times \partial \Omega . \end{array}\right. $$ for t ≥  0 and ${x \in \Omega \subset \mathbb{R}^N}$ ; the last equation holds on the boundary . Here ${\mathcal{A}= \{a_{ij}(x)\}_{ij}}$ is a real, hermitian, uniformly positive definite N × N matrix; ${\beta \in C(\partial \Omega)}$ , with β > 0; ${\gamma:\Omega \times \mathbb{R} \to \mathbb{R}; \delta:\partial \Omega \times \mathbb{R} \to \mathbb{R}; \,c:\partial \Omega \to \mathbb{R}; \, q \ge 0, \Lambda_{\rm LB}}$ is the Laplace–Beltrami operator on , and ${\partial^\mathcal{A}_\nu u}$ is the conormal derivative of u with respect to ${\mathcal{A}}$ ; everything is sufficiently regular. We prove explicit stability estimates of the solution u with respect to the coefficients ${\mathcal{A},\,\beta,\,\gamma,\,\delta,\,c,\,q}$ , and the initial conditions fg. Our arguments cover the singular case of a problem with q = 0 which is approximated by problems with positive q.  相似文献

This paper deals with the initial value problem of type $$\begin{array}{ll} \qquad \frac{\partial u}{\partial t} = \mathcal{L} u := \sum \limits^3_{i=0} A^{(i)} (t, x) \frac{\partial u}{\partial x_{i}} + B(t, x)u + C(t, x)\\ u (0, x) = u_{0}(x)\end{array}$$ in the space of generalized regular functions in the sense of Quaternionic Analysis satisfying the differential equation $$\mathcal{D}_{\lambda}u := \mathcal{D} u + \lambda u = 0,$$ where ${t \in [0, T]}$ is the time variable, x runs in a bounded and simply connected domain in ${\mathbb{R}^{4}, \lambda}$ is a real number, and ${\mathcal{D}}$ is the Cauchy-Fueter operator. We prove necessary and sufficient conditions on the coefficients of the operator ${\mathcal{L}}$ under which ${\mathcal{L}}$ is associated with the operator ${\mathcal{D}_{\lambda}}$ , i.e. ${\mathcal{L}}$ transforms the set of all solutions of the differential equation ${\mathcal{D}_{\lambda}u = 0}$ into solutions of the same equation for fixedly chosen t. This criterion makes it possible to construct operators ${\mathcal{L}}$ for which the initial value problem is uniquely soluble for an arbitrary initial generalized regular function u 0 by the method of associated spaces constructed by W. Tutschke (Teubner Leipzig and Springer Verlag, 1989) and the solution is also generalized regular for each t.  相似文献

In this work, we consider the following second-order m-point boundary value problem on time scales $$\left\{\begin{array}{@{}l}(\phi_{p}(u^{\triangle}(t)))^{\nabla}+h(t)f(t,u(t),u^{\triangle }(t))=0,\quad t\in(0,+\infty)_{\mathbb{T}},\\[4pt]\displaystyle u(0)=\sum_{i=1}^{m-2}\alpha_{i}u(\eta_{i}),\qquad u^{\triangle}(+\infty)=\sum_{i=1}^{m-2}\beta_{i}u^{\triangle}(\eta_{i}).\end{array}\right.$$ We establish new criteria for the existence of at least three unbounded positive solutions. Our results are new even for the corresponding differential $({\mathbb{T}}={\mathbb{R}})$ , difference equation $({\mathbb{T}}={\mathbb{Z}})$ and for the general time-scale setting. An example is given to illustrate our results.  相似文献
