We introduce first a sort of gray-scale morphological dilations and erosions, which might have some further applications in image analysis. Then we show that the dilation and the erosion defined here form adjunctive pairs. The duality between the dilation and the erosion and some other properties, such as the commuting property with translation and homothety, of these operators are discussed as well.  相似文献

从粗定位和精定位方面考虑车牌定位.利用腐蚀、膨胀和差运算将RGB车牌图像转换为车牌图像位置为彩色的而其余位置是灰色的图像,将所获得的图像转化为灰度图像,利用Robert算子进行边缘检测,再进行腐蚀和膨胀运算,根据阈值获得连通区域,利用颜色特征实现车牌的粗定位.将粗定位后的图像进行二值化、差运算、Radon变换,再进行腐蚀运算,图像的填充等步骤,再考虑图像的上下左右边界实现车牌的精定位,对185幅车牌图像进行定位.通过实验,车牌定位准确率达到91.89%.说明所提出的方法简单易行,具有一定的实效性.  相似文献

Inspired by some recent development on the theory about projection valued dilations for operator valued measures or more generally bounded homomorphism dilations for bounded linear maps on Banach algebras, the authors explore a pure algebraic version of the dilation theory for linear systems acting on unital algebras and vector spaces. By introducing two natural dilation structures, namely the canonical and the universal dilation systems, they prove that every linearly minimal dilation is equivalent to a reduced homomorphism dilation of the universal dilation, and all the linearly minimal homomorphism dilations can be classified by the associated reduced subspaces contained in the kernel of synthesis operator for the universal dilation.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the smoothness of multivariate refinable functions with infinitely supported masks and an isotropic dilation matrix. Using some methods as in [R.Q. Jia, Characterization of smoothness of multivariate refinable functions in Sobolev spaces, Trans. Amer. Math. Soc. 351 (1999) 4089–4112], we characterize the optimal smoothness of multivariate refinable functions with polynomially decaying masks and an isotropic dilation matrix. Our characterizations extend some of the main results of the above mentioned paper with finitely supported masks to the case in which masks are infinitely supported.  相似文献

In this article we study finitely generated wavelet systems with arbitrary dilation sets. In 2002 Hernández et al. gave a characterization of when such a system forms a Parseval frame, assuming that a certain hypothesis known as the local integrability condition (LIC) holds. We show that, under some mild regularity assumption on the wavelets, the LIC is solely a density condition on the dilation sets. Using this new interpretation of the LIC, we further discuss when the characterization result holds.  相似文献

This paper addresses the construction of wavelet frame from a frame multiresolution analysis (FMRA) associated with a dilation matrix of determinant ±2. The dilation matrices of determinant ±2 can be classified as six classes according to integral similarity. In this paper, for four classes of them, the construction of wavelet frame from an FMRA is obtained, and, as examples, Shannon type wavelet frames are constructed, which have an independent value for their optimality in some sense.  相似文献

In many domains of information processing, bipolarity is a core feature to be considered: positive information represents what is possible or preferred, while negative information represents what is forbidden or surely false. If the information is moreover endowed with vagueness and imprecision, as is the case for instance in spatial information processing, then bipolar fuzzy sets constitute an appropriate knowledge representation framework. In this paper, we focus on mathematical morphology as a tool to handle such information and reason on it. Applying mathematical morphology to bipolar fuzzy sets requires defining an appropriate lattice. We extend previous work based on specific partial orderings to any partial ordering leading to a complete lattice. We address the case of algebraic operations and of operations based on a structuring element, and show that they have good properties for any partial ordering, and that they can be useful for processing in particular spatial information, but also other types of bipolar information such as preferences and constraints. Particular cases using Pareto and lexicographic orderings are illustrated. Operations derived from fuzzy bipolar erosion and dilation are proposed as well.  相似文献

We present some results on the perturbation of eigenvalues embedded at a threshold for a matrix-valued Hamiltonian with three-dimensional dilation analytic Schrödinger operators as entries and with a small off-diagonal perturbation. The main result describes how a threshold eigenvalue generates resonances (that is, poles of the meromorphic continuation of the perturbed Hamiltonian).  相似文献

In this paper a positive commuting expansion problem is presented and solved. The problem is set up in the framework of a minimal unitary dilation of a contraction acting on a Hilbert space and includes the Carathéodory and other classical interpolation problems. By combining the geometry of the minimal unitary dilation with state space techniques from system theory, a special solution is constructed. Next using the band method approach and spectral factorizations of this special solution a linear fractional parameterization of all solutions is obtained. Explicit state space formulas and applications to some classical interpolation problems are given.  相似文献

The single 2 dilation orthogonal wavelet multipliers in one dimensional case and single A-dilation(where A is any expansive matrix with integer entries and|det A|=2) wavelet multipliers in high dimensional case were completely characterized by the Wutam Consortium(1998) and Z. Y. Li, et al.(2010). But there exist no more results on orthogonal multivariate wavelet matrix multipliers corresponding integer expansive dilation matrix with the absolute value of determinant not 2 in L~2(R~2). In this paper, we choose 2I2=(_0~2 _2~0)as the dilation matrix and consider the 2 I2-dilation orthogonal multivariate waveletΨ = {ψ_1, ψ_2, ψ_3},(which is called a dyadic bivariate wavelet) multipliers. We call the3 × 3 matrix-valued function A(s) = [ f_(i, j)(s)]_(3×3), where fi, jare measurable functions, a dyadic bivariate matrix Fourier wavelet multiplier if the inverse Fourier transform of A(s)( ψ_1(s), ψ_2(s), ψ_3(s)) ~T=( g_1(s), g_2(s), g_3(s))~ T is a dyadic bivariate wavelet whenever(ψ_1, ψ_2, ψ_3) is any dyadic bivariate wavelet. We give some conditions for dyadic matrix bivariate wavelet multipliers. The results extended that of Z. Y. Li and X. L.Shi(2011). As an application, we construct some useful dyadic bivariate wavelets by using dyadic Fourier matrix wavelet multipliers and use them to image denoising.  相似文献

The homogeneous approximation property (HAP) states that the number of building blocks involved in a reconstruction of a function up to some error is essentially invariant under time-scale shifts. In this paper, we show that every wavelet frame with nice wavelet function and arbitrary expansive dilation matrix possesses the HAP. Our results improve some known ones.  相似文献

A composite dilation wavelet is a collection of functions generating an orthonormal basis for L 2(ℝ n ) under the actions of translations from a full rank lattice and dilations by products of elements of non-commuting groups A and B. A minimally supported frequency composite dilation wavelet has generating functions whose Fourier transforms are characteristic functions of a lattice tiling set. In this paper, we study the case where A is the group of integer powers of some expanding matrix while B is a finite subgroup of the invertible n×n matrices. This paper establishes that with any finite group B together with almost any full rank lattice, one can generate a minimally supported frequency composite dilation wavelet system. The paper proceeds by demonstrating the ability to find such minimally supported frequency composite dilation wavelets with a single generator.  相似文献

In this paper, we present variants of Shor and Zhurbenko's r-algorithm, motivated by the memoryless and limited memory updates for differentiable quasi-Newton methods. This well known r-algorithm, which employs a space dilation strategy in the direction of the difference between two successive subgradients, is recognized as being one of the most effective procedures for solving nondifferentiable optimization problems. However, the method needs to store the space dilation matrix and update it at every iteration, resulting in a substantial computational burden for large-sized problems. To circumvent this difficulty, we first propose a memoryless update scheme, which under a suitable choice of parameters, yields a direction of motion that turns out to be a convex combination of two successive anti-subgradients. Moreover, in the space transformation sense, the new update scheme can be viewed as a combination of space dilation and reduction operations. We prove convergence of this new method, and demonstrate how it can be used in conjunction with a variable target value method that allows a practical, convergent implementation of the method. We also examine a memoryless variant that uses a fixed dilation parameter instead of varying degrees of dilation and/or reduction as in the former algorithm, as well as another variant that examines a two-step limited memory update. These variants are tested along with Shor's r-algorithm and also a modified version of a related algorithm due to Polyak that employs a projection onto a pair of Kelley's cutting planes. We use a set of standard test problems from the literature as well as randomly generated dual transportation and assignment problems in our computational experiments. The results exhibit that the proposed space dilation and reduction method and the modification of Polyak's method are competitive, and offer a substantial advantage over the r-algorithm and over the other tested limited memory variants with respect to accuracy as well as effort.  相似文献

The classical result of Foias says that an operator power dilates to a unilateral shift if and only if it is aC 0 contraction. In this paper, we consider the corresponding question of dilating to a unilateral shift. We show tht for contractions with at least one defect index finite, dilation and power dilation to some unilateral shift amount to the same thing. The only difference is on the minimum multiplicity of the unilateral shift to which the contraction can be (power) dilated. We also obtain a characterization of contractions which are finite-rank perturbations of a unilateral shift, generalizing the rank-one perturbation result of Nakamura.  相似文献
