可定向的具非负曲率完备非紧黎曼流形

本文研究了具非负曲率完备非紧黎曼流形的一些几何性质,包括闭测地线,体积等.证明了核心的余维数为奇数的可定向具非负曲率完备非紧黎曼流形在其核心的任一法测地线均为射线的条件下可等距分裂为R×N,其中N为低一维的流形.     

具非负Ricci曲率和强有界几何条件的流形

设M是具非负Ricci曲率的n维完备非紧黎曼流形,若M具次大体积增长vol{B(p,r)1≥βM*, p ∈M, r≥1和满足强有界几何条件,则M具有限拓扑型.     

关于稳定调和映照的一点注记

§1 引言设 f 是从紧致 Riemann 流形 M 到 Riemann 流形 N 的一个光滑映照.映照 f 的能量积分定义为E(f)=1/2 integral from M‖df‖~2dV_M.如果映照 f 是能量泛函 E 的一个临界点,则称 f 为从 M 到 N 的调和映照.调和映照f 称为稳定的如果其二阶变分非负.设 S~n 表示 n 维欧氏球面.我们知道不存在从任意紧致 Riemann 流形到 S~n 或从 S~n 到任意 Riemann 流形的非常值稳定调和映照(n≥3).文献[3]、[4]、[5]和[6]进一     

局部对称共形平坦黎曼流形中带有平坦法丛的子流形

设M~(n p)是n p维共形平坦黎曼流形,且它的黎曼张量R_(tjkl)之共变导微▽R_(tjkl)=0,则称M~(n p)为局部对称共形平坦黎曼流形。 本文证得:若V~n(n≥2)是局部对称共形平坦黎曼流形M~(n p)的n维紧致无边子流形,它具有平坦法丛,若V~n在任一点上的截面曲率均大于T_c-t_c/2(n p-2),这里T_c、t_c分别是M~(n p)的Ricci曲率在该点的上、下确界,则V~n一定是M~(n p)的n 1维全测地子流形M~(n 1)之超曲面。

设M是具非负Ricci曲率的n维黎曼流形,其截曲率有下界,对M中的任意的点p有vol[B(p,r)]/rn-1=αM+o(1/rn-1)且假设函数f(r)=vol[B(p,r)]/2In(r)rn-1是单调递减的,则M具有限拓扑型,其中In(r)是一有界函数.     

非紧完备的Khler流形上的嵌入问题

本文证明了任一n维的非紧完备,具有有限拓扑型的Kahler流形,若它的Ricci曲率为正的,有限的且陈氏示性数有限,则它双全纯等价于拟射影代数簇.

完备Riemann流形与球面的等距

研究Riemann流形的球面特征是一个颇有兴趣的问题,特别是考虑完备Riemann流形M在什么条件下与一球面等距.为此,Obata曾得到两个微分方程组,证明它们在M上非常数解的存在性等价于M与一个球面等距,其中一个方程组解的存在与共形向量场的存在有关.人们由此给出M在紧致情况下很多解的存在条件(如[3]).而另一个是下面的(也见[4]).定理A设M为n维完备、连通、单连通的Riemann流形,则下列微分方程组     

极小超曲面上Laplace算子的谱

1 引言 设(M,g)是紧致n维定向Rieman流形,记A~2(M)表示M上的外q-形式所成的向量空间,此处q=0,1,…,n.以Spec~q(M,g)表示Laplace算子△在A~q(M)上的谱集。 Laplace算子谱理论的一个很重要的问题是,如何由谱来决定Riemann流形,即等谱的Riemann流形是否等距同构?这个问题早在1964年就由J.Milnor给出了否定的回答。他举出了2个16维等谱而不等距的Riemann流形的例子;此后又有许多作者举出了不同的反     

非负Ricci曲率开流形的拓扑

我们证明了对于具有非负Rieei曲率,大体积增长且内半径下有界的完备n维Riemann流形,只要存在常数C>0使得 则它微分同胚于欧式空间Rn.我们还证明了在某些pinching条件下具有非负射线曲率的完备n维Riemarm流形微分同胚与Rn,改进了已知的结果.     

Finiteness theorems for submersions and souls

The first section of this paper provides an improvement upon known finiteness theorems for Riemannian submersions; that is, theorems which conclude that there are only finitely many isomorphism types of fiber bundles among Riemannian submersions whose total spaces and base spaces both satisfy certain geometric bounds. The second section of this paper provides a sharpening of some recent theorems which conclude that, for an open manifold of nonnegative curvature satisfying certain geometric bounds near its soul, there are only finitely many possibilities for the isomorphism class of a normal bundle of the soul. A common theme to both sections is a reliance on basic facts about Riemannian submersions whose and tensors are both bounded in norm.

FRACTIONAL INTEGRALS OF THE WEIERSTRASS FUNCTIONS： THE EXACT BOX DIMENSION

The present paper investigates the fractal structure of fractional integrals of Weierstrass functions. The ezact box dimension for such functions many important cases is established. We need to point out that, although the result itself achieved in the present paper is interesting, the new technique and method should be emphasized. These novel ideas might be useful to establish the box dimension or Hausdorff dimension (especially for the lower bounds) for more general groups of functions.

A new class of sets in ideal topological spaces is introduced and using these sets, a decomposition of continuity is given.      

When a compact (countably compact) set is closed. II

We obtain (a) necessary and sufficient conditions and (b) sufficient conditions for a compact (countably compact) set to be closed in products (sequential products) and subspaces (sequential subspaces) of normal spaces. As a consequence of these, sufficient conditions are obtained for (i) the closedness of arbitrary (countable) union of closed sets and (ii) the equality of the union of the closures and the closure of the union of arbitrary (countable) families of sets in these spaces. It is also shown that these results do not hold for quotients of even T ₄,-spaces.
