In this paper, we study the flow of a compressible (density‐gradient‐dependent) non‐linear fluid down an inclined plane, subject to radiation boundary condition. The convective heat transfer is also considered where a source term, similar to the Arrhenius type reaction, is included. The non‐dimensional forms of the equations are solved numerically and the competing effects of conduction, dissipation, heat generation and radiation are discussed. In this paper, we are concerned with the Cauchy problem for the density‐dependent incompressible flow of liquid crystals in thewhole space (N ≥ 2).We prove the localwell‐posedness for large initial velocity field and director field of the system in critical Besov spaces if the initial density is close to a positive constant. We show also the global well‐posedness for this system under a smallness assumption on initial data. In particular, this result allows us to work in Besov space with negative regularity indices, where the initial velocity becomes small in the presence of the strong oscillations. This paper is dedicated to the study of the Navier‐Stokes‐Landau‐Lifshitz system. We obtain the global existence of a unique solution for this system without any small conditions imposed on the third component of the initial velocity field. In this paper, we constructed the split‐step θ (SSθ)‐method for stochastic age‐dependent population equations. The main aim of this paper is to investigate the convergence of the SS θ‐method for stochastic age‐dependent population equations. It is proved that the proposed method is convergent with strong order 1/2 under given conditions. Finally, an example is simulated to verify the results obtained from the theory, and comparative analysis with Euler method is given, the results show the higher accuracy of the SS θ‐method. In this paper, we consider the well‐posedness issue for the density‐dependent incompressible viscoelastic fluids of the Oldroyd model for the ideal case in space dimension greater than 2. We obtain the local well‐posedness of this model under the assumption that the initial density is bounded away from zero in the critical Besov spaces by means of the Littlewood‐Paley theory and Bony's paradifferential calculus. In particular, we obtain a Beale‐Kato‐Majida–type regularity criterion.  相似文献

We consider the initial boundary problem for a compressible non‐Newtonian fluid with density‐dependent viscosity. The local existence of strong solution is established that is based on some compatibility condition. Moreover, it is also proved that the solutions are to blow up, and the maximum norm of velocity gradients controls the possible break down of the strong solutions. This paper is dedicated to the Oldroyd‐B model with fractional dissipation (?Δ)ατ for any α > 0. We establish the global smooth solutions to the Oldroyd‐B model in the corotational case with arbitrarily small fractional powers of the Laplacian in two spatial dimensions. Moreover, in the Appendix, we provide some a priori estimates to the Oldroyd‐B model in the critical case, which may be useful and of interest for future improvement. This paper concerns measure‐valued solutions for the two‐dimensional granular avalanche flow model introduced by Savage and Hutter. The system is similar to the isentropic compressible Euler equations, except for a Coulomb–Mohr friction law in the source term. We will partially follow the study of measure‐valued solutions given by DiPerna and Majda. However, due to the multi‐valued nature of the friction law, new more sensitive measures must be introduced. The main idea is to consider the class of x‐dependent maximal monotone graphs of non‐single‐valued operators and their relation with 1‐Lipschitz, Carathéodory functions.
