In this paper we prove a comparison theorem between the category of certain modules with integrable connection on the complement of a normal crossing divisor of the generic fiber of a proper semistable variety over a DVR and the category of certain log overconvergent isocrystals on the special fiber of the same open.  相似文献

We study the slopes of Frobenius on the rigid cohomology and the rigid cohomology with compact support of an algebraic variety over a perfect field of positive characteristic. We then prove that any unipotent overconvergent F-isocrystal on a smooth variety has a slope filtration whose graded parts are pure. Let k be a field and X = Spec (k[t,t -1 ]). Katz proved that a differential equations with coefficients in k((t -1 )) is uniquely extended to a special algebraic differential equation on X when k is of characteristic 0. He also proved that a finite extension of k((t -1 )) is uniquely extended to a special covering of X when k is of any characteristic. These theorems are called canonical extension or Katz correspondence. We shall prove a p-adic analogue of canonical extension for quasi-unipotent overconvergent isocrystals. As a consequence, we can show that the local index of a quasi-unipotent overconvergent is equal to its Swan conductor.  相似文献

In this paper, we establish a criterion for an overconvergent isocrystal on a smooth variety over a field of characteristic p > 0 to extend logarithmically to its smooth compactification whose complement is a simple normal crossing divisor. This is a generalization of a result of Kedlaya, who treated the case of unipotent monodromy. Our result is regarded as a p-adic analogue of the theory of canonical extension of regular singular integrable connections on smooth varieties of characteristic 0.  相似文献

We use a new idea to construct a theory of iterated Coleman functions on overconvergent spaces with good reduction in any dimension. A Coleman function in this theory consists of a unipotent differential equation, a functional on the underlying bundle and a solution to the equation on a residue class. The new idea is to use the theory of Tannakian categories and the action of Frobenius to analytically continue solutions of the differential equation to all residue classes. We discuss the equivalence of two constructions of a unipotent group scheme attached to a differential graded algebra over a ?-algebra. The first construction is using the bar resolution and the second is using Toen's theory of affine stacks. We use this to establish the equivalence of two approaches to the comparison theorem in p-adic Hodge theory for the unipotent fundamental group of varieties defined over p-adic fields.  相似文献

Given a totally real field F and a prime integer p which is unramified in F, we construct p-adic families of overconvergent Hilbert modular forms (of non-necessarily parallel weight) as sections of, so called, overconvergent Hilbert modular sheaves. We prove that the classical Hilbert modular forms of integral weights are overconvergent in our sense. We compare our notion with Katz’s definition of p-adic Hilbert modular forms. For F = ?, we prove that our notion of (families of) overconvergent elliptic modular forms coincides with those of R. Coleman and V. Pilloni.  相似文献

Call a semigroup S left unipotent if each-class of S contains exactly one idempotent. A structure theorem for bisimple left unipotent semigroups is given which reduces to that of N. R. Reilly [8] for bisimple inverse semigroups. A structure theorem, alternative to one given by R. J. Warne [13], is given for the case when the band ES of idempotents of S is an ω-chain of right zero semigroups, and two applications of it are made. We apply M. Ratner's theorem on closures of unipotent orbits to the study of three families of prehomogeneous vector spaces. As a result, we prove analogues of the Oppenheim Conjecture for simultaneous approximation by values of certain alternating bilinear forms in an even number of variables and certain alternating trilinear forms in six and seven variables.

We construct a map from the set of regular unipotent classes of a finite reductive group to the corresponding set in a Levi subgroup. A theorem of Digne, Lehrer and Michel on Lusztig restriction of characteristic functions of such classes gives in particular another (not explicit) construction of such a map. In this paper we construct a “restriction” map from the cocenter of a reductive group G over a local non-archimedean field F to the cocenter of a Levi subgroup. We show that the dual map corresponds to parabolic induction and deduce that parabolic induction preserves stability. We also give a new (purely geometric) proof that the character of normalized parabolic induction does not depend on the parabolic subgroup. In the appendix, we use a similar argument to extend a theorem of Lusztig–Spaltenstein on induced unipotent classes to all infinite fields. We also prove a group version of a theorem of Harish-Chandra about the density of the span of regular semisimple orbital integrals.  相似文献

In this paper we generalize minimal p‐divisible groups defined by Oort to minimal F‐crystals over algebraically closed fields of positive characteristic. We prove a structural theorem of minimal F‐crystals and give an explicit formula of the Frobenius endomorphism of the basic minimal F‐crystals that are the building blocks of the general minimal F‐crystals. We then use minimal F‐crystals to generalize minimal heights of p‐divisible groups and give an upper bound of the isomorphism numbers of F‐crystals, whose isogeny type are determined by simple F‐isocrystals, in terms of their ranks, Hodge slopes and Newton slopes.  相似文献

T. Laffey showed (Linear and Multilinear Algebra6(1978), 269–305) that a semigroup of matrices is triangularizable if the ranks of all the commutators of elements of the semigroup are at most 1. Our main theorem is an extension of Hthis result to semigroups of algebraic operators on a Banach space. We also obtain a related theorem for a pair {A, B} of arbitrary bounded operators satisfying rank (ABBA)=1 and several related conditions. In addition, it is shown that a semigroup of algebraically unipotent operators of bounded degree is triangularizable.  相似文献

We discuss some results of Shimura on invariant differential operators and extend a folklore theorem about spherical representationas to representations with scalarK-types. We then apply the result to obtain non-trivial isomorphisms of certain representations arising from local theta correspondence, many of which are unipotent in the sense of Vogan. In this paper we prove that if an affine algebraic group (in characteristic zero) has all its conjugacy classes closed, then it is nilpotent. A classical result (called sometimes the Kostant-Rosenlicht Theorem) guarantees that if an affine algebraic group G is unipotent, then all its orbits on affine varieties are closed. We prove the converse of that theorem in arbitrary characteristics.  相似文献
