We study Nekrasov's deformed partition function $Z(\varepsilon_1,\varepsilon_2,\vec{a};\mathfrak q,\boldsymbol\beta)$ of 5-dimensional supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory compactified on a circle. Mathematically it is the generating function of the characters of the coordinate rings of the moduli spaces of instantons on $\mathbb R^4$. We show that it satisfies a system of functional equations, called blowup equations, whose solution is unique. As applications, we prove (a) $F(\varepsilon_1,\varepsilon_2,\vec{a};\mathfrak q,\boldsymbol\beta) = \varepsilon_1\varepsilon_2 \log Z(\varepsilon_1,\varepsilon_2,\vec{a};\mathfrak q,\boldsymbol\beta)$ is regular at $\varepsilon_1 = \varepsilon_2 = 0$ (a part of Nekrasov's conjecture), and (b) the genus $1$ parts, which are first several Taylor coefficients of $F(\varepsilon_1,\varepsilon_2,\vec{a};\mathfrak q,\boldsymbol\beta)$, are written explicitly in terms of $\tau = d^2 F(0,0,\vec{a};\mathfrak q,\boldsymbol\beta)/da^2$ in rank $2$ case.  相似文献

For α 0, λ 0 and β,η∈R, we consider the M(α,λ)_b of normalized analyticα—λ convex functions defined in the open unit disc U. In this paper we investigate the class M(α, λ,β,η)_b,with f_b := z/(1-z~n)~b being Koebe type. By making use of Jack's Lemma as well as several differential and other inequalities, the authors derive sufficient conditions for starlikeness of the class M(α, λ, β, η)_b of n-fold symmetric analytic functions of Koebe type. Relevant connections of the results presented here with those given in earlier works are also indicated.  相似文献

The minimal value of $s$ is determined such that the above Cauchy problem is locally well-posed in $H^s$. It turns out that for the general equation $s$ must satisfy $$s>\max\Big(\frac{n}{2}, \frac{n+5}{4}\Big).$$ This is due to Ponce and Sideris (when $n=3$) and Tataru (when $n\ge 5$). An m-cycle system of order v and index λ, denoted by m-CS（v,λ）, is a collection of cycles of length m whose edges partition the edges of λKv. An m-CS（v,λ） is α-resolvable if its cycles can be partitioned into classes such that each point of the design occurs in precisely α cycles in each class. The necessary conditions for the existence of such a design are m｜λv（v-1）/2,2｜λ（v -1）,m｜αv,α｜λ（v-1）/2. It is shown in this paper that these conditions are also sufficient when m = 4.  相似文献

If there exist a smooth function f on $(M^n, g)$ and three real constants $m,\rho ,\lambda$ ( $0<m\le \infty$ ) such that \begin{aligned} R_{ij}+f_{ij}-\frac{1}{m}f_if_j=(\rho R+\lambda ) g_{ij}, \end{aligned} we call $(M^n,g)$ a $(m,\rho )$ -quasi-Einstein manifold. Here $R_{ij}$ is the Ricci curvature and R is the scalar curvature of the metric g, respectively. This is a special case of the so-called generalized quasi-Einstein manifold which was a natural generalization of gradient Ricci solitons associated with the Hamilton’s Ricci flow. In this paper, we first obtain some rigidity results for compact $(m,\rho )$ -quasi-Einstein manifolds. Then, we give some classifications under the assumption that the Bach tensor of $(M^n,g)$ is flat.  相似文献

We present a unified approach to a couple of central limit theorems for the radial behavior of radial random walks on hyperbolic spaces as well as for time-homogeneous Markov chains on $[0,\infty [$ whose transition probabilities are defined in terms of Jacobi convolutions. The proofs of all central limit theorems are based on corresponding limit results for the associated Jacobi functions $\varphi _{\lambda }^{(\alpha ,\beta )}$ . In particular, we consider the limit $\alpha \rightarrow \infty$ , the limit $\varphi _{i\rho -n\lambda }^{(\alpha ,\beta )}(t/n)$ for $n\rightarrow \infty$ , and the behavior of the Jacobi function $\varphi _{i\rho -\lambda }^{(\alpha ,\beta )}(t)$ for small $\lambda$ . The proofs of all these limit results are based on the known Laplace integral representation for Jacobi functions. Parts of the results are known, other improve known ones, and other are new.  相似文献

By considering the one-dimensional model for describing long, small amplitude waves in shallow water, a generalized fifth-order evolution equation named the Olver water wave(OWW) equation is investigated by virtue of some new pseudo-potential systems. By introducing the corresponding pseudo-potential systems, the authors systematically construct some generalized symmetries that consider some new smooth functions{Xiβ}i=1,2,···,nβ =1,2,···,N depending on a finite number of partial derivatives of the nonlocal variables vβand a restriction ∑iα,β(? ξi/?vβ)2+(?ηα/?vβ)2≠0, i.e.,∑i,α,β(?Gα/?vβ)2≠0. Furthermore,the authors investigate some structures associated with the Olver water wave(AOWW)equations including Lie algebra and Darboux transformation. The results are also extended to AOWW equations such as Lax, Sawada-Kotera, Kaup-Kupershmidt, It and Caudrey-Dodd-Gibbon-Sawada-Kotera equations, et al. Finally, the symmetries are applied to investigate the initial value problems and Darboux transformations.  相似文献
