In this paper, we study (α,β)-metrics of scalar flag curvature on a manifold M of dimension n (n 〉 3). Suppose that an (α,β)-metric F is not a Finsler metric of Randers type, that is, F ≠k1 V√α^2 + k2β^2 + k3β, where k1 〉 0, k2 and k3 are scalar functions on M. We prove that F is of scalar flag curvature and of vanishing S-curvature if metric. In this case, F is a locally Minkowski and only if the flag curvature K = 0 and F is a Berwald metric.  相似文献

In this paper, we study an important class of (α,β)-metrics in the form F = (α+β)^m+1/α^m on an n-dimensional manifold and get the conditions for such metrics to be weakly- Berwald metrics, where α = √aij(x)y^iy^j is a Riemannian metric and β = bi(x)y^i is a 1-form and m is a real number with m ≠ -1,0,-1/n. Furthermore, we also prove that this kind of (α,β)-metrics is of isotropic mean Berwald curvature if and only if it is of isotropic S-curvature. In this case, S-curvature vanishes and the metric is weakly-Berwald metric.  相似文献

We study a special class of Finsler metrics,namely,Matsumoto metrics F=α2α-β,whereαis a Riemannian metric andβis a 1-form on a manifold M.We prove that F is a(weak)Einstein metric if and only ifαis Ricci flat andβis a parallel 1-form with respect toα.In this case,F is Ricci flat and Berwaldian.As an application,we determine the local structure and prove the 3-dimensional rigidity theorem for a(weak)Einstein Matsumoto metric.  相似文献

In this paper we study perturbations of the stiffly weighted pseudoinverse (W^1/2 A)^+W^1/2 and the related stiffly weighted least squares problem, where both the matrices A and W are given with W positive diagonal and severely stiff. We show that the perturbations to the stiffly weighted pseudoinverse and the related stiffly weighted least squares problem are stable, if and only if the perturbed matrices A = A + δA satisfy several row rank preserving conditions.  相似文献

In the present paper, we study the Frattini subalgebra of a restricted Lie superalgebra (L, [p]). We show first that if L = A1 + A2 +… +An, then Фp(L) = Фp(A1) +Фp(A2) +…+Фp(An), where each Ai is a p-ideal of L. We then obtain two results: F(L) = Ф(L) = J(L) = L if and only if L is nilpotent; Fp(L) and F(L) are nilpotent ideals of L if L is solvable. In addition, necessary and sufficient conditions are found for Фp-free restricted Lie superalgebras. Finally, we discuss the relationships of E-p-restricted Lie superalgebras and E-restricted Lie superalgebras.  相似文献

For an additive subgroup G of a field F of characteristic zero, a Lie algebra B(G) of Block type is defined with basis {Lα,i| α∈G, i∈Z+} and relations [Lα,i, Lβ,j] = (β-α)Lα+β,i+j+(αj-βi)Lα+β,Lα+β,i+j-1.It is proved that an irreducible highest weight B(Z)-module is quasifinite if and only if it is a proper quotient of a Verma module. Furthermore, for a total order λ on G and any ∧∈B(G)0^*(the dual space of B(G)0 = span{L0,i|i∈Z+}), a Verma B(G)-module M(∧,λ) is defined, and the irreducibility of M(A,λ) is completely determined.  相似文献

In this paper, we study a class of Finsler metrics in the form , where is a Riemannian metric, form, and ∈ and k≠0 are constants. We obtain a sufficient and necessary condition for F to be locally projectively flat and give the non-trivial special solutions. Moreover, it is proved that such projectively flat Finsler metrics with the constant flag curvature must be locally Minkowskian.  相似文献

Using the technique of block-operators, in this note, we prove that if P and Q are idempotents and (P - Q)^2n+1 is in the trace class, then (P - Q)^2m+1 is also in the trace class and tr(P - Q)^2m+1 = dim(k(P) ∩ k(Q)^⊥) -dim(k(P)^⊥ N k(Q)), for all m ≥ n. Moreover, we prove that dim(k(P)∩ k(Q)^⊥) = dim(k(P)^⊥ ∩k(Q)) if and only if there exists a unitary U such that UP = QU and PU = UQ, where k(T) denotes the range of T. In this paper, the authors construct a class of unitary invariant strongly pseudoconvex complex Finsler metrics which are of the form F =√[ rf(s- t)[, where r = ||v||~ 2, s =| z,v |~2/r, t =|| z||~ 2, f(w) is a real-valued smooth positive function of w ∈ R,and z is in a unitary invariant domain M  C~n. Complex Finsler metrics of this form are unitary invariant. We prove that F is a class of weakly complex Berwald metrics whose holomorphic curvature and Ricci scalar curvature vanish identically and are independent of the choice of the function f. Under initial value conditions on f and its derivative f, we prove that all the real geodesics of F =√[rf(s- t)] on every Euclidean sphere S~(2n-1) M are great circles.  相似文献

By considering the one-dimensional model for describing long, small amplitude waves in shallow water, a generalized fifth-order evolution equation named the Olver water wave(OWW) equation is investigated by virtue of some new pseudo-potential systems. By introducing the corresponding pseudo-potential systems, the authors systematically construct some generalized symmetries that consider some new smooth functions{Xiβ}i=1,2,···,nβ =1,2,···,N depending on a finite number of partial derivatives of the nonlocal variables vβand a restriction ∑iα,β(? ξi/?vβ)2+(?ηα/?vβ)2≠0, i.e.,∑i,α,β(?Gα/?vβ)2≠0. Furthermore,the authors investigate some structures associated with the Olver water wave(AOWW)equations including Lie algebra and Darboux transformation. The results are also extended to AOWW equations such as Lax, Sawada-Kotera, Kaup-Kupershmidt, It and Caudrey-Dodd-Gibbon-Sawada-Kotera equations, et al. Finally, the symmetries are applied to investigate the initial value problems and Darboux transformations.  相似文献

A real-valued function f(x) on Ж belongs to Zygmund class A.(Ж) ff its Zygmund norm ‖f‖x=inf,|f(x+t)-2f(x)+f(x-t)/t|is finite. Let F be a field with char F = 2, l a maximal nilpotent subalgebra of the symplectic algebra sp(2m,F). In this paper, we characterize linear maps of l which preserve zero Lie brackets in both directions. It is shown that for m ≥ 4, a map φ of l preserves zero Lie brackets in both directions if and only if φ = ψcσT0λαφdηf, where ψc,σT0,λα,φd,ηf are the standard maps preserving zero Lie brackets in both directions.  相似文献
