Deformations of complex orbifolds and the period maps

We consider the deformations of complex orbifolds with the underlying smooth structures being fixed.As a corollary,we can prove that the deformations of a Calabi-Yau orbifold is unobstructed by using standard arguments.Then we consider the period map for a family of complex Kahler orbifolds.We prove that the period map is holomorphic,horizontal and consistent with our Kodaira-Spencer map.     

A descent principle for the Dirac-dual-Dirac method

Let G be a torsion-free discrete group with a finite-dimensional classifying space BG. We show that G has a dual-Dirac morphism if and only if a certain coarse (co-)assembly map is an isomorphism. Hence the existence of a dual-Dirac morphism for such groups is a metric, that is, coarse, invariant. We get results for groups with torsion as well.     

The Generalized KKM Map and Its Applications to Variational Inequalities

In this paper,applying the concept of generalized KKM map,we study problems ofvariational inequalities.We weaken convexity(concavity)conditions for a functional of two variables■(x,y)in the general variational inequalities.Last,we show a proof of non-topological degree meth-od of acute angle principle about monotone operator as an application of these results.     

A Minimal Triangulation of the Hopf Map and its Application

We give a minimal triangulation : S ₁₂ ³ S ₄ ² of the Hopf map h:S ³S ² and use it to obtain a new construction of the 9-vertex complex projective plane.

本文研究了带二次耦合项的二维Logistic映射的性质和分岔行为,数值模拟了混沌的生成过程．若控制一个参数值近似为1,则产生近乎满的混沌区．这种混沌区产生的随机序列所生成的流密码具有很好的0-1分布、高线性复杂性、密钥敏感性等．最后给出了用于保密通信的模型．     

Modular Branching Rules and the Mullineux Map for Hecke Algebras of Type A

We prove the quantum version - for Hecke algebras H A_n of typeA at roots of unity - of Kleshchev's modular branching rulefor symmetric groups. This result describes the socle of therestriction of an irreducible H A_n-module to the subalgebraH A_n–1. As a consequence, we describe the quantum versionof the Mullineux involution describing the irreducible moduleobtained on twisting an irreducible module with the sign representation.1991 Mathematics Subject Classification: 20C05, 20G05.

De Sitter空间中紧致类空超曲面的积分公式及其Goddard猜想的应用

本文对ｄｅＳｉｔｅｒ空间Ｓｎ＋１１（１）中紧致类空超曲面建立Ｍｉｎｋｏｗｓｋｉ型公式，并给出其到ｒ－次（ｒ＝１，２，…，ｎ－１）平均曲率为常数超曲面的应用．当ｒ＝１时，我们得到Ｍｏｎｔｉｅｌ的结果．     

An integral structure in quantum cohomology and mirror symmetry for toric orbifolds

We introduce an integral structure in orbifold quantum cohomology associated to the K-group and the -class. In the case of compact toric orbifolds, we show that this integral structure matches with the natural integral structure for the Landau-Ginzburg model under mirror symmetry. By assuming the existence of an integral structure, we give a natural explanation for the specialization to a root of unity in Y. Ruan's crepant resolution conjecture [Yongbin Ruan, The cohomology ring of crepant resolutions of orbifolds, in: Contemp. Math., vol. 403, Amer. Math. Soc., Providence, RI, 2006, pp. 117-126].

Computation of Almost Split Sequences with Applications to Relatively Projective and Prinjective Modules

Let be an Artin algebra, let mod be the category of finitely generated -modules, and let Amod be a contravariantly finite and extension closed subcategory. For an indecomposable and not Ext-projective module CA, we compute the almost split sequence 0ABC0 in A from the almost split sequence 0DTrCEC0 in mod. Since the computation is particularly simple if the minimal right A-approximation of DTrC is indecomposable for all indecomposable and not Ext-projective CA, we manufacture subcategories A with the desired property using orthogonal subcategories. The method of orthogonal subcategories is applied to compute almost split sequences for relatively projective and prinjective modules.     

Index Iteration Theory for Brake Orbit Type Solutions and Applications

In this paper, we give a survey on the index iteration theory of an index theory for brake orbit type solutions and its applications in the study of brake orbit problems including the Seifert conjecture and the minimal period solution problems in brake orbit cases.     

Homological Algebra for Coalgebraic Modules and Mod p K-Theory of Infinite Loop Spaces

In this paper, we develop the theory of homological algebra for coalgebraic modules, and compute and p K-theory of infinite loop spaces associated to BP-module spectra.     

A note on the degree conjecture for the Selberg class

The degree conjecture for the Selberg class of L-functions states that the degree d _F of every F ∈ is an integer. Moreover, it is expected that every F ∈ has polynomial Euler product, and that the degree ∂ _F of such an Euler product coincides with d _F . In this note we prove that a suitable continuity assumption on the degree d _F implies that ∂ _F = d _F for all F ∈ with polynomial Euler product.

In this paper we characterize the left joint spectrum of an n-tuple T =(T1,... ,Tn) of dominant bounded linear operators on a complex Hilbert space H and the unital C^*-algebra C^*(T) generated by T1,… , Tn and I; moreover, we give an application of this characterization.
