Let M{\mathcal M} be a σ-finite von Neumann algebra and \mathfrak A{\mathfrak A} a maximal subdiagonal algebra of M{\mathcal M} with respect to a faithful normal conditional expectation F{\Phi} . Based on Haagerup’s noncommutative L p space Lp(M){L^p(\mathcal M)} associated with M{\mathcal M} , we give a noncommutative version of H p space relative to \mathfrak A{\mathfrak A} . If h 0 is the image of a faithful normal state j{\varphi} in L1(M){L^1(\mathcal M)} such that j°F = j{\varphi\circ \Phi=\varphi} , then it is shown that the closure of {\mathfrak Ah0\frac1p}{\{\mathfrak Ah_0^{\frac1p}\}} in Lp(M){L^p(\mathcal M)} for 1 ≤ p < ∞ is independent of the choice of the state preserving F{\Phi} . Moreover, several characterizations for a subalgebra of the von Neumann algebra M{\mathcal M} to be a maximal subdiagonal algebra are given.  相似文献

In this paper, we characterize a C *-subalgebra C *(x) of B(H), generated by a single operator x. We show that if x is polar-decomposed by aq, where a is the partial isometry part and q is the positive operator part of x, then C *(x) is *-isomorphic to the groupoid crossed product algebra Aq×a\mathbbGa\mathcal{A}_{q}\times_{\alpha }\mathbb{G}_{a} , where Aq=C*(q)\mathcal{A}_{q}=C^{*}(q) and \mathbbGa\mathbb{G}_{a} is the graph groupoid induced by a partial isometry part a of x.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the p-ary linear code C(PG(n,q)), q = p h , p prime, h ≥ 1, generated by the incidence matrix of points and hyperplanes of a Desarguesian projective space PG(n,q), and its dual code. We link the codewords of small weight of this code to blocking sets with respect to lines in PG(n,q) and we exclude all possible codewords arising from small linear blocking sets. We also look at the dual code of C(PG(n,q)) and we prove that finding the minimum weight of the dual code can be reduced to finding the minimum weight of the dual code of points and lines in PG(2,q). We present an improved upper bound on this minimum weight and we show that we can drop the divisibility condition on the weight of the codewords in Sachar’s lower bound (Geom Dedicata 8:407–415, 1979). We prove that if q = p h , p a prime, do not exist sets U í AG(n,q){U {\subseteq} AG(n,q)}, with |U| = q k and 1 < k < n, determining N directions where

In this paper, we introduce the concept of (1, 1)-q-coherent pair of linear functionals (U,V)(\mathcal{U},\mathcal{V}) as the q-analogue to the generalized coherent pair studied by Delgado and Marcellán in (Methods Appl Anal 11(2):273–266, 2004). This means that their corresponding sequences of monic orthogonal polynomials {P n (x)} n ≥ 0 and {R n (x)} n ≥ 0 satisfy
\frac(DqPn+1)(x)[n+1]q + an\frac(DqPn)(x)[n]q = Rn(x) + bnRn-1(x)  ,     an 1 0,  n 3 1, \frac{\left(D_qP_{n+1}\right)(x)}{[n+1]_q} + a_{n}\frac{\left(D_qP_{n}\right)(x)}{[n]_q} = R_{n}(x) + b_{\!n}R_{n-1}(x) \,, \quad\, a_{n}\neq0,\,\, n\geq1,  相似文献

Explicit expressions for 4n + 2 primitive idempotents in the semi-simple group ring $R_{2p^{n}}\equiv \frac{GF(q)[x]}{p and q are distinct odd primes; n ≥ 1 is an integer and q has order \fracf(2pn)2{\frac{\phi(2p^{n})}{2}} modulo 2p n . The generator polynomials, the dimension, the minimum distance of the minimal cyclic codes of length 2p n generated by these 4n + 2 primitive idempotents are discussed. For n = 1, the properties of some (2p, p) cyclic codes, containing the above minimal cyclic codes are analyzed in particular. The minimum weight of some subset of each of these (2p, p) codes are observed to satisfy a square root bound.  相似文献

Let A be a compact set in of Hausdorff dimension d. For s ∈ (0,d) the Riesz s-equilibrium measure μ s is the unique Borel probability measure with support in A that minimizes
over all such probability measures. If A is strongly -rectifiable, then μ s converges in the weak-star topology to normalized d-dimensional Hausdorff measure restricted to A as s approaches d from below. Let ( Y,d,dl )\left( {\mathcal{Y},d,d\lambda } \right) be (ℝ n , |·|, μ), where |·| is the Euclidean distance, μ is a nonnegative Radon measure on ℝ n satisfying the polynomial growth condition, or the Gauss measure metric space (ℝ n , |·|, d λ ), or the space (S, d, ρ), where S ≡ ℝ n ⋉ ℝ+ is the (ax + b)-group, d is the left-invariant Riemannian metric and ρ is the right Haar measure on S with exponential growth. In this paper, the authors introduce and establish some properties of the atomic Hardy-type spaces { Xs ( Y ) }0 < s \leqslant ¥\left\{ {X_s \left( \mathcal{Y} \right)} \right\}_{0 < s \leqslant \infty } and the BMO-type spaces { BMO( Y, s ) }0 < s \leqslant ¥\left\{ {BMO\left( {\mathcal{Y}, s} \right)} \right\}_{0 < s \leqslant \infty }. Let H 1 ( Y )\left( \mathcal{Y} \right) be the known atomic Hardy space and L 01 ( Y )\left( \mathcal{Y} \right) the subspace of fL 1 ( Y )\left( \mathcal{Y} \right) with integral 0. The authors prove that the dual space of X s ( Y )\left( \mathcal{Y} \right) is BMO( Y,s )BMO\left( {\mathcal{Y},s} \right) when s ∈ (0,∞), X s ( Y )\left( \mathcal{Y} \right) = H 1 ( Y )\left( \mathcal{Y} \right) when s ∈ (0, 1], and X ( Y )\left( \mathcal{Y} \right) = L 01 ( Y )\left( \mathcal{Y} \right) (or L 1 ( Y )\left( \mathcal{Y} \right)). As applications, the authors show that if T is a linear operator bounded from H 1 ( Y )\left( \mathcal{Y} \right) to L 1 ( Y )\left( \mathcal{Y} \right) and from L 1 ( Y )\left( \mathcal{Y} \right) to L 1,∞ ( Y )\left( \mathcal{Y} \right), then for all r ∈ (1,∞) and s ∈ (r,∞], T is bounded from X r ( Y )\left( \mathcal{Y} \right) to the Lorentz space L 1,s ( Y )\left( \mathcal{Y} \right), which applies to the Calderón-Zygmund operator on (ℝ n , |·|, μ), the imaginary powers of the Ornstein-Uhlenbeck operator on (ℝ n , |·|, d γ ) and the spectral operator associated with the spectral multiplier on (S, d, ρ). All these results generalize the corresponding results of Sweezy, Abu-Shammala and Torchinsky on Euclidean spaces.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the weighted (x(q + 1), x; 2, q)-minihypers. These are weighted sets of x(q + 1) points in PG(2, q) intersecting every line in at least x points. We investigate the decomposability of these minihypers, and define a switching construction which associates to an (x(q + 1), x; 2, q)-minihyper, with xq 2q, not decomposable in the sum of another minihyper and a line, a (j(q + 1), j; 2, q)-minihyper, where j = q 2qx, again not decomposable into the sum of another minihyper and a line. We also characterize particular (x(q + 1), x; 2, q)-minihypers, and give new examples. Additionally, we show that (x(q + 1), x; 2, q)-minihypers can be described as rational sums of lines. In this way, this work continues the research on (x(q + 1), x; 2, q)-minihypers by Hill and Ward (Des Codes Cryptogr 44:169–196, 2007), giving further results on these minihypers.  相似文献

In this paper, we construct a q-deformation of the Witt-Burnside ring of a profinite group over a commutative ring, where q ranges over the set of integers. When q = 1, it coincides with the Witt-Burnside ring introduced by Dress and Siebeneicher (Adv. Math. 70, 87–132 (1988)). To achieve our goal we first show that there exists a q-deformation of the necklace ring of a profinite group over a commutative ring. As in the classical case, i.e., the case q = 1, q-deformed Witt-Burnside rings and necklace rings always come equipped with inductions and restrictions. We also study their properties. As a byproduct, we prove a conjecture due to Lenart (J. Algebra. 199, 703-732 (1998)). Finally, we classify up to strict natural isomorphism in case where G is an abelian profinite group. Let k be a field and E(n) be the 2 n+1-dimensional pointed Hopf algebra over k constructed by Beattie, Dăscălescu and Grünenfelder [J. Algebra, 2000, 225: 743–770]. E(n) is a triangular Hopf algebra with a family of triangular structures R M parameterized by symmetric matrices M in M n (k). In this paper, we study the Azumaya algebras in the braided monoidal category $ E_{(n)} \mathcal{M}^{R_M } $ E_{(n)} \mathcal{M}^{R_M } and obtain the structure theorems for Azumaya algebras in the category $ E_{(n)} \mathcal{M}^{R_M } $ E_{(n)} \mathcal{M}^{R_M } , where M is any symmetric n×n matrix over k.  相似文献

All sets of lines providing a partition of the set of internal points to a conic C in PG(2,q), q odd, are determined. There exist only three such linesets up to projectivities, namely the set of all non-tangent lines to C through an external point to C, the set of all non-tangent lines to C through a point in C, and, for square q, the set of all non-tangent lines to C belonging to a Baer subplane PG(2,√q) with √q+1 common points with C. This classification theorem is the analogous of a classical result by Segre and Korchmáros [9] characterizing the pencil of lines through an internal point to C as the unique set of lines, up to projectivities, which provides a partition of the set of all non-internal points to C. However, the proof is not analogous, since it does not rely on the famous Lemma of Tangents of Segre which was the main ingredient in [9]. The main tools in the present paper are certain partitions in conics of the set of all internal points to C, together with some recent combinatorial characterizations of blocking sets of non-secant lines, see [2], and of blocking sets of external lines, see [1].  相似文献

Suppose that {T t  : t  ≥  0} is a symmetric diffusion semigroup on L 2(X) and denote by its tensor product extension to the Bochner space , where belongs to a certain broad class of UMD spaces. We prove a vector-valued version of the Hopf–Dunford–Schwartz ergodic theorem and show that this extends to a maximal theorem for analytic continuations of on . As an application, we show that such continuations exhibit pointwise convergence.  相似文献

Let s : S 2G(2, n) be a linearly full totally unramified non-degenerate holomorphic curve in a complex Grassmann manifold G(2, n), and let K(s) be its Gaussian curvature. It is proved that K(s) = \frac4n-2{K(s) = \frac{4}{n-2}} if K(s) satisfies K(s) 3 \frac4n-2{K(s) \geq \frac{4}{n-2}} or K(s) £ \frac4n-2 {K(s) \leq \frac{4}{n-2} } everywhere on S 2. In particular, K(s) = \frac4n-2{K(s) = \frac{4}{n-2}} if K(s) is constant.  相似文献

This paper investigates the s-energy of (finite and infinite) well separated sequences of spherical designs on the unit sphere S 2. A spherical n-design is a point set on S 2 that gives rise to an equal weight cubature rule which is exact for all spherical polynomials of degree ≤n. The s-energy E s (X) of a point set of m distinct points is the sum of the potential for all pairs of distinct points . A sequence Ξ = {X m } of point sets X m S 2, where X m has the cardinality card(X m )=m, is well separated if for each pair of distinct points , where the constant λ is independent of m and X m . For all s>0, we derive upper bounds in terms of orders of n and m(n) of the s-energy E s (X m(n)) for well separated sequences Ξ = {X m(n)} of spherical n-designs X m(n) with card(X m(n))=m(n).   相似文献

For an n-dimensional spherical unit speed curve r and a given point P, we can define naturally the pedal curve of r relative to the pedal point P. When the dual curve germs are non-singular, singularity types of such pedal curves depend only on locations of pedal points. In this paper, we give a complete list of normal forms for singularities and locations of pedal points when the dual curve germs are non-singular. As an application of our list, we characterize C left equivalence classes of pedal curve germs (I, s 0) → S n produced by non-singular dual curve germ from the viewpoint of the relation between tangent space and tangent space.   相似文献

A group G is said to be capable if it is isomorphic to the central factor group H/Z(H) for some group H. Let G be a nonabelian group of order p 2 q for distinct primes p and q. In this paper, we compute the nonabelian tensor square of the group G. It is also shown that G is capable if and only if either Z(G) = 1 or p < q and Gab=\mathbbZp×\mathbbZp{G^{\rm ab}=\mathbb{Z}_{p}\times\mathbb{Z}_{p}} .  相似文献

We classify deformations of the standard embedding of the Lie superalgebra $ \mathcal{K} $ \mathcal{K} (2) of contact vector fields on the (1, 2)-dimensional supercircle into the Lie superalgebra SΨD(S 1|2 ) of pseudodifferential operators on the supercircle S 1|2 . The proposed approach leads to the deformations of the central charge induced on $ \mathcal{K} $ \mathcal{K} (2) by the canonical central extension of SΨD(S 1|2 ).  相似文献
