§ 1.Introduction By a“meromorphic function” we mean a function that is meromorphic in the wholecomplex plane. It is assumed that the reader is familiar with notations of Nevanlinnatheory such as T(r,f) ,m(r,f) ,N (r,1f) ,S(r,f ) and so on that can be found,forinstance,in[1 ] or[2 ] .Let f and g be two meromorphic functions and a be a complexnumber. We say that f and g share the value a CM (counting multiplicity) if f -a andg-a have the same zeros with the same multiplicity, and denote th…  相似文献

Let K be a complete algebraically closed p-adic field of characteristic zero.We apply results in algebraic geometry and a new Nevanlinna theorem for p-adic meromorphic functions in order to prove results of uniqueness in value sharing problems, both on K and on C. Let P be a polynomial of uniqueness for meromorphic functions in K or C or in an open disk. Let f, g be two transcendental meromorphic functions in the whole field K or in C or meromorphic functions in an open disk of K that are not quotients of bounded analytic functions. We show that if f′P′( f) and g′P′(g) share a small function α counting multiplicity, then f = g, provided that the multiplicity order of zeros of P′satisfy certain inequalities. A breakthrough in this paper consists of replacing inequalities n ≥ k+2 or n ≥ k+3 used in previous papers by Hypothesis(G). In the p-adic context, another consists of giving a lower bound for a sum of q counting functions of zeros with(q-1) times the characteristic function of the considered meromorphic function.  相似文献

A proof of Sethares' conjecture   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Let (?)(z) be holomorphic in the unit disk △ and meromorphic on △. Suppose / is a Teichmuller mapping with complex dilatation In 1968, Sethares conjectured that f is extremal if and only if either (i)(?) has a double pole or (ii)(?) has no pole of order exceeding two on (?)△. The "if" part of the conjecture had been solved by himself. We will give the affirmative answer to the "only if" part of the conjecture. In addition, a more general criterion for extremality of quasiconformal mappings is constructed in this paper, which generalizes the "if" part of Sethares' conjecture and improves the result by Reich and Shapiro in 1990.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the growth of the meromorphic solutions of the following nonlinear difference equationsf(z)n+ P_(n-1)(f) = 0,where n ≥ 2 and P_(n-1)(f) is a difference polynomial of degree at most n- 1 in f with small functions as coefficients. Moreover, we give two examples to show that one conjecture proposed by Yang and Laine [2] does not hold in general if the hyper-order of f(z) is no less than 1.  相似文献

§ 1 IntroductionAll graphs considered in this paper are finite, simple plane graphs.G=(V,E,F)denotes a plane graph, with V,E and F being the set of vertices, edges and faces of G,respectively. Two vertices u and v are adjacent, denoted by uv∈E,if there is an edge in Ejoining them.A vertex u is incident with an edge e if u is an endvertex of e.Two faces aresaid to be adjacent if they share a common edge.We use b(f) to denote the boundary of aface f.A face is incident with all vertices and e…  相似文献

We determine all real meromorphic functions f in the plane such that f has finitely many zeros, the poles of f have bounded multiplicities, and f and F have finitely many non-real zeros, where F is a linear differential polynomial given by F = f (k) +Σk-1j=0ajf(j) , in which k≥2 and the coefficients aj are real numbers with a0≠0.  相似文献

Let f be a nonconstant meromorphic function in the plane and h be a nonconstant elliptic function. We show that if all zeros of f are multiple except finitely many and T (r, h) = o{T (r, f )} as r →∞, then f' = h has infinitely many solutions (including poles).  相似文献

Let f be a meromorphic function of finite order in the plane. If its Nevanlinnadeficiency sum is 2,then we say that f has maximum deficiency sum. Drasin con-jectured that if f has maximum deficiency sum and the infinity is not its Nevanlinna'sdeficient value, then zero is the only Nevaulinna's deficient value of f' with defi-ciency 1. Yang Lo gave a positive answer of this conjecture by proving that under theabove assumption, zero is the only Nevanlinna's deficient value of f(h) with,deficie-ncy 2/(1 + k) for k = 1,2,…. Now, omitting the condition δ(∞,f) = 0, we prove  相似文献

We examine when a meromorphic quadratic differential φ with prescribed poles is the Schwarzian derivative of a rational map. We give a necessary and sufficient condition: In the Laurent series of φ around each pole c, the most singular term should take the form(1- d2)/(2(z- c)2), where d is an integer, and then a certain determinant in the next d coefficients should vanish. This condition can be optimized by neglecting some information on one of the poles(i.e., by only requiring it to be a double pole). The case d = 2 was treated by Eremenko(2012). We show that a geometric interpretation of our condition is that the complex projective structure induced by φ outside the poles has a trivial holonomy group. This statement was suggested to us by Thurston in a private communication. Our work is related to the problem of finding a rational map f with a prescribed set of critical points, since the critical points of f are precisely the poles of its Schwarzian derivative. Finally, we study the pole-dependency of these Schwarzian derivatives. We show that, in the cubic case with simple critical points, an analytic dependency fails precisely when the poles are displaced at the vertices of a regular ideal tetrahedron of the hyperbolic 3-ball.  相似文献

Define two operators In and It,the inner product operator In(g)(x) := j∈Zs(g,f(·-j))f(x-j) and the interpolation operator It(g)(x) := j∈Zs g(j)f(x-j),where f belongs to some space and integer s 1.We call f the generator of the operators In and It.It is well known that there are many results on operators In and It.But there remain some important problems to be further explored. For application we first need to find the available generators (that can recover polynomials as It(p) = p or In(p) = p,p ∈Πm-1) for constructing the relative operators. In this paper,we focus on the available generator in the class of spline functions. We shall see that not all spline functions can be used to construct available generators.Fortunately,we do find a spline function in S,of degree m-1,where m is even and S is a class of splines. But for odd m the problem is still open. Results on spline functions in this paper are new.  相似文献

We study a class of self-similar processes with stationary increments belonging to higher order Wiener chaoses which are similar to Hermite processes. We obtain an almost sure wavelet-like expansion of these processes. This allows us to compute the pointwise and local Hölder regularity of sample paths and to analyse their behaviour at infinity. We also provide some results on the Hausdorff dimension of the range and graphs of multidimensional anisotropic self-similar processes with stationary increments defined by multiple Wiener–Itô integrals.  相似文献

As early as in 1990, Professor Sun Yongsheng, suggested his students at Beijing Normal University to consider research problems on the unit sphere. Under his guidance and encouragement his students started the research on spherical harmonic analysis and approximation. In this paper, we incompletely introduce the main achievements in this area obtained by our group and relative researchers during recent 5 years (2001-2005). The main topics are: convergence of Cesaro summability, a.e. and strong summability of Fourier-Laplace series; smoothness and K-functionals; Kolmogorov and linear widths.  相似文献

It is considered the class of Riemann surfaces with dimT1 = 0, where T1 is a subclass of exact harmonic forms which is one of the factors in the orthogonal decomposition of the spaceΩH of harmonic forms of the surface, namely The surfaces in the class OHD and the class of planar surfaces satisfy dimT1 = 0. A.Pfluger posed the question whether there might exist other surfaces outside those two classes. Here it is shown that in the case of finite genus g, we should look for a surface S with dimT1 = 0 among the surfaces of the form Sg\K , where Sg is a closed surface of genus g and K a compact set of positive harmonic measure with perfect components and very irregular boundary.  相似文献

One of the most fundamental problems in theoretical biology is to explain the mechanisms by which patterns and forms are created in the'living world. In his seminal paper "The Chemical Basis of Morphogenesis", Turing showed that a system of coupled reaction-diffusion equations can be used to describe patterns and forms in biological systems. However, the first experimental evidence to the Turing patterns was observed by De Kepper and her associates(1990) on the CIMA reaction in an open unstirred reactor, almost 40 years after Turing's prediction. Lengyel and Epstein characterized this famous experiment using a system of reaction-diffusion equations. The Lengyel-Epstein model is in the form as follows  相似文献

Schr(o)dinger operator is a central subject in the mathematical study of quantum mechanics.Consider the Schrodinger operator H = -△ V on R, where △ = d2/dx2 and the potential function V is real valued. In Fourier analysis, it is well-known that a square integrable function admits an expansion with exponentials as eigenfunctions of -△. A natural conjecture is that an L2 function admits a similar expansion in terms of "eigenfunctions" of H, a perturbation of the Laplacian (see [7], Ch. Ⅺ and the notes), under certain condition on V.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the explicit representation and convergence of (0, 1; 0)-interpolation on infinite interval, which means to determine a polynomial of degree ≤ 3n - 2 when the function values are prescribed at two set of points namely the zeros of Hn(x) and H′n(x) and the first derivatives at the zeros of H′n(x).  相似文献
