A Lie module algebra for a Lie algebra L is an algebra and L-module A such that L acts on A by derivations. The depth Lie algebra of a Lie algebra L with Lie module algebra A acts on a corresponding depth Lie module algebra . This determines a depth functor from the category of Lie module algebra pairs to itself. Remarkably, this functor preserves central simplicity. It follows that the Lie algebras corresponding to faithful central simple Lie module algebra pairs (A,L) with A commutative are simple. Upon iteration at such (A,L), the Lie algebras are simple for all i ∈ ω. In particular, the (i ∈ ω) corresponding to central simple Jordan Lie algops (A,L) are simple Lie algebras. Let G be an abelian group, ε an anti-bicharacter of G and L a G-graded ε Lie algebra (color Lie algebra) over a field of characteristic zero. We prove that for all G-graded, positively filtered A such that the associated graded algebra is isomorphic to the G-graded ε-symmetric algebra S(L), there is a G- graded ε-Lie algebra L and a G-graded scalar two cocycle , such that A is isomorphic to U ω (L) the generalized enveloping algebra of L associated with ω. We also prove there is an isomorphism of graded spaces between the Hochschild cohomology of the generalized universal enveloping algebra U(L) and the generalized cohomology of the color Lie algebra L. The property of degeneration of modular graded Lie algebras, first investigated by B. Weisfeiler is analyzed. Transitive irreducible graded Lie algebras over an algebraically closed field of characteristic p > 2 with classical reductive component L 0 are considered. We show that if a nondegenerate Lie algebra L containes a transitive degenerate subalgebra L′such that dim L1 > 1, then L is an infinite-dimensional Lie algebra. Abstract

The main purpose of this paper is to study Lie algebras L such that if a subalgebra U of L has a maximal subalgebra of dimension one then every maximal subalgebra of U has dimension one. Such an L is called lm(0)-algebra. This class of Lie algebras emerges when it is imposed on the lattice of subalgebras of a Lie algebra the condition that every atom is lower modular. We see that the effect of that condition is highly sensitive to the ground field F. If F is algebraically closed, then every Lie algebra is lm(0). By contrast, for every algebraically non-closed field there exist simple Lie algebras which are not lm(0). For the real field, the semisimple lm(0)-algebras are just the Lie algebras whose Killing form is negative-definite. Also, we study when the simple Lie algebras having a maximal subalgebra of codimension one are lm(0), provided that char(F) ≠ 2. Moreover, lm(0)-algebras lead us to consider certain other classes of Lie algebras and the largest ideal of an arbitrary Lie algebra L on which the action of every element of L is split, which might have some interest by themselves.  相似文献

On split Lie algebras with symmetric root systems   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0
We develop techniques of connections of roots for split Lie algebras with symmetric root systems. We show that any of such algebras L is of the form L = + Σ j I j with a subspace of the abelian Lie algebra H and any I j a well described ideal of L, satisfying [I j , I k ] = 0 if jk. Under certain conditions, the simplicity of L is characterized and it is shown that L is the direct sum of the family of its minimal ideals, each one being a simple split Lie algebra with a symmetric root system and having all its nonzero roots connected.  相似文献

For each simply-laced Dynkin graph Δ we realize the simple complex Lie algebra of type Δ as a quotient algebra of the complex degenerate composition Lie algebra of a domestic canonical algebra A of type Δ by some ideal I of that is defined via the Hall algebra of A, and give an explicit form of I. Moreover, we show that each root space of has a basis given by the coset of an indecomposable A-module M with root easily computed by the dimension vector of M. We consider systems of combinatorial Dyson–Schwinger equations in the Connes–Kreimer Hopf algebra HI of rooted trees decorated by a set I. Let H(S) be the subalgebra of HI generated by the homogeneous components of the unique solution of this system. If it is a Hopf subalgebra, we describe it as the dual of the enveloping algebra of a Lie algebra g(S) of one of the following types:
  • 1.
g(S) is an associative algebra of paths associated to a certain oriented graph.
  • 2.
Or g(S) is an iterated extension of the Faà di Bruno Lie algebra.
  • 3.
Or g(S) is an iterated extension of an infinite-dimensional abelian Lie algebra.
We also describe the character groups of H(S).  相似文献

We give an explicit formula for the subalgebra zeta function of a general three-dimensional Lie algebra over the p-adic integers . To this end, we associate to such a Lie algebra a ternary quadratic form over . The formula for the zeta function is given in terms of Igusa’s local zeta function associated to this form. We construct Lie algebras of vector fields on universal bundles of symmetric squares of hyperelliptic curves of genus g = 1, 2,.. For each of these Lie algebras, the Lie subalgebra of vertical fields has commuting generators, while the generators of the Lie subalgebra of projectable fields determines the canonical representation of the Lie subalgebra with generators L 2q , q = ?1, 0, 1, 2,.., of the Witt algebra. As an application, we obtain integrable polynomial dynamical systems.  相似文献

Let M be a von Neumann algebra equipped with a normal finite faithful normalized trace τ, and let A be a tracial subalgebra of M. Let E be a symmetric quasi-Banach space on [0, 1]. We show that A has an LE(M)-factorization if and only if A is a subdiagonal algebra.  相似文献

A subalgebra B of a Lie algebra L is called a c-ideal of L if there is an ideal C of L such that L = B + C and BC ≤ B L , where B L is the largest ideal of L contained in B. This is analogous to the concept of c-normal subgroup, which has been studied by a number of authors. We obtain some properties of c-ideals and use them to give some characterisations of solvable and supersolvable Lie algebras. We also classify those Lie algebras in which every one-dimensional subalgebra is a c-ideal.  相似文献

We discuss the question of local finite dimensionality of Jordan supercoalgebras. We establish a connection between Jordan and Lie supercoalgebras which is analogous to the Kantor–Koecher–Tits construction for ordinary Jordan superalgebras. We exhibit an example of a Jordan supercoalgebra which is not locally finite-dimensional. Show that, for a Jordan supercoalgebra (J,) with a dual algebra J *, there exists a Lie supercoalgebra (L c (J), L ) whose dual algebra (L c (J))* is the Lie KKT-superalgebra for the Jordan superalgebra J *. It is well known that some Jordan coalgebra J 0 can be constructed from an arbitrary Jordan algebra J. We find necessary and sufficient conditions for the coalgebra (L c (J 0),L) to be isomorphic to the coalgebra (Loc(L in (J)0), L 0), where L in (J) is the adjoint Lie KKT-algebra for the Jordan algebra J.  相似文献

Let k be a field of characteristic 0 and let k<X> be a free associative algebra with finite basis X. Let R=R(k,X) be the universal enveloping algebra of the square of Lie(X), regarded as a subalgebra of k<X> and called the Specht subalgebra of the free algebra. We prove that k<X> is a free (left) R-module, find sufficient conditions for some system of elements in k<X> to be a basis for this module, and obtain an explicit formula that allows us to calculate the R-coefficients of the elements of the free algebra over a special basis of symmetric monomials.  相似文献

We extend several classical results in the theory of invariants of finite groups to the case of action of a finite-dimensional Hopf algebra H on an algebra satisfying a polynomial identity. In particular, we prove that an H-module algebra A over an algebraically closed field k is integral over the subalgebra of invariants, if H is a semisimple and cosemisimple Hopf algebra. We show that for char k > 0, the algebra Z\({\left( A \right)^{{H_0}}}\) is integral over the subalgebra of central invariants Z(A)H, where Z(A) is the center of algebra A, H0 is the coradical of H. This result allowed us to prove that the algebra A is integral over the subalgebra Z(A)H in some special case. We also construct a counterexample to the integrality of the algebra \({A^{{H_0}}}\) over the subalgebra of invariants AH for a pointed Hopf algebra over a field of non-zero characteristic.  相似文献

A subalgebra H of a Lie algebra L is said a CAP*-subalgebra if, for any non-Frattini chief factor A/B of L, we have H + A = H + B or HA = HB. In this article, using this concept, we give some characterizations of solvability and supersolvability of a finite dimensional Lie algebra.  相似文献
