In this third paper, the famous Schur theorem that an n× n complex matrix is unitary similar to an upper triangular matrix is generalized to the socalled ∑-lizable matrix over the strong p-division ring Ω, where ∑ is the algebraically closed extension field of the center of Ω , and ∑?Ω.The generalized Schur's identity and other results involving the general-ized normal matrix over Ω is obtained by using this generalized Schur theorem.

This paper derives a theorem of generalized singular value decomposition of quaternion matrices （QGSVD）,studies the solution of general quaternion matrix equation AXB -CYD= E,and obtains quaternionic Roth＇s theorem. This paper also suggests sufficient and necessary conditions for the existence and uniqueness of solutions and explicit forms of the solutions of the equation.     

Complementarity properties of the Lyapunov transformation over symmetric cones

The well-known Lyapunov's theorem in matrix theory/continuous dynamical systems asserts that a square matrix A is positive stable if and only if there exists a positive definite matrix X such that AX +XA* is positive definite. In this paper, we extend this theorem to the setting of any Euclidean Jordan algebra V . Given any element a ∈ V , we consider the corresponding Lyapunov transformation La and show that the P and S-properties are both equivalent to a being positive. Then we characterize the R0 -property for La and show that La has the R0 -property if and only if a is invertible. Finally, we provide La with some characterizations of the E0 -property and the nondegeneracy property.     

A CLASS OF COMPOUND VECTOR-VALUED PROBLEM AND FACTORIZATION OF MATRIX FUNCTION

In this article,we consider a class of compound vector-valued problem on upper-half plane C+,which consists of vector Riemann problem along a closed contour in C+ with matrix coefficient in Hlder class and vector Hilbert problem on the real axis with essential bounded measurable matrix coefficient.Under appropriate assumption we obtain its solution by use of Corona theorem and factorization of matrix functions in decomposed Banach algebras.

In this paper , a useful basic theorem that every selfconjugate matrix over the strong p division ring Ω is unitary similar to a tridiagorial matrix over the conter of Ω is given thus all of famous results involving selfconjugate matrices, positivedefinite selfcon jugate matrices, nonnegative selfconjugate matrix in the ordiniry com plex matrix theory are generalized to selfconjugate matrices over Ω . and Sigular decomuposition as well as polar decomposition in the ordinary complex matrix theory are also generalized to matrices over Ω .     

DISTORTION THEOREMS FOR SUBCLASSES OF STARLIKE MAPPINGS ALONG A UNIT DIRECTION IN C^n

In this paper, we obtain a distortion theorem of Jacobian matrix for biholomorphic subclasses of starlike mappings along a unit direction on the unit polydisc. These results extend the classical distortion theorem of starlike mappings to higher dimensions. We then give an upper bound estimate for biholomorphic subclasses of starlike mappings along a unit direction in a complex Banach space.

Generalized Mbius Inversion Theory Associated with Non-Standard Analysis

This brief note announces a comprehensive result that includes as particular cases not only the extended Mbius-Rota inversion formulas (cf.[1]) but also some classic inverse relations in analysis (e. g. the fundamental theorem for integral calculus and a kind of Fredholm convolution integral transforms with variable upper limits).     

An operator Arzelà-Ascoli theorem

The author generalizes the Arzela-Ascoli theorem to the setting of matrix order unit spaces, extending the work of Antonescu-Christensen on unital C^＊-algebras. This gives an affirmative answer to a question of Antonescu and Christensen.     

Least-Squares Solution with the Minimum-Norm for the Matrix Equation A^TXB ＋ B^TX^TA = D and Its Applications

An efficient method based on the projection theorem,the generalized singular value decompositionand the canonical correlation decomposition is presented to find the least-squares solution with the minimum-norm for the matrix equation A~TXB B~TX~TA=D.Analytical solution to the matrix equation is also derived.Furthermore,we apply this result to determine the least-squares symmetric and sub-antisymmetric solution ofthe matrix equation C~TXC=D with minimum-norm.Finally,some numerical results are reported to supportthe theories established in this paper.     

OPTIMAL APPROXIMATE SOLUTION OF THE MATRIX EQUATION AXB = C OVER SYMMETRIC MATRICES

Let SE denote the least-squares symmetric solution set of the matrix equation A×B = C, where A, B and C are given matrices of suitable size. To find the optimal approximate solution in the set SE to a given matrix, we give a new feasible method based on the projection theorem, the generalized SVD and the canonical correction decomposition.     

THE NOTE ON MATRIX-VALUED RATIONAL INTERPOLATION

In [3], a kind of matrix-valued rational interpolants （MRIs） in the form of Rn（x） = M（x）/D（x） with the divisibility condition D（x） ｜ ｜｜M（x）｜｜^2, was defined, and the characterization theorem and uniqueness theorem for MRIs were proved. However this divisibility condition is found not necessary in some cases. In this paper, we re- move this restricted condition, define the generalized matrix-valued rational interpolants （GMRIs） and establish the characterization theorem and uniqueness theorem for GMRIs. One can see that the characterization theorem and uniqueness theorem for MRIs are the special cases of those for GMRIs. Moreover, by defining a kind of inner product, we succeed in unifying the Samelson inverses for a vector and a matrix.
