A complex matrix A is said to be a matrix realization of the digraph D if D is the associated digraph of A, and A is said to have the property B if every singular value of A is contained in the union of Brualdi-type intervals. A digraph D is said to be a forcible B-digraph if every matrix realization of D has the property B. The authors study the coincidence theory for pairs of maps from the Torus to the Klein bottle. Reidemeister classes and the Nielsen number are computed, and it is shown that any given pair of maps satisfies the Wecken property. The 1-parameter Wecken property is studied and a partial negative answer is derived. That is for all pairs of coincidence free maps a countable family of pairs of maps in the homotopy class is constructed such that no two members may be joined by a coincidence free homotopy.  相似文献

Given a distribution of pebbles on the vertices of a connected graph G, a pebbling move on G consists of taking two pebbles off one vertex and placing one on an adjacent vertex. The pebbling number f(G) is the smallest number m such that for every distribution of m pebbles and every vertex v,a pebble can be moved to v. A graph G is said to have the 2-pebbling property if for any distribution with more than 2f(G) q pebbles, where q is the number of vertices with at least one pebble, it is possible,using pebbling moves, to get two pebbles to any vertex. Snevily conjectured that G(s,t) has the 2-pebbling property, where G(s, t) is a bipartite graph with partite sets of size s and t (s ≥ t). Similarly, the-pebbling number f (G) is the smallest number m such that for every distribution of m pebbles and every vertex v, pebbles can be moved to v. Herscovici et al. conjectured that f(G) ≤ 1.5n + 8-6 for the graph G with diameter 3, where n = |V (G)|. In this paper, we prove that if s ≥ 15 and G(s, t) has minimum degree at least (s+1)/ 2 , then f (G(s, t)) = s + t, G(s, t) has the 2-pebbling property and f (G(s, t)) ≤ s + t + 8(-1). In other words, we extend a result due to Czygrinow and Hurlbert, and show that the above Snevily conjecture and Herscovici et al. conjecture are true for G(s, t) with s ≥ 15 and minimum degree at least (s+1)/ 2 .  相似文献

In this paper the fundamental result about the decision problems for properties of FRT-groups (i. e. the groups each of which is isomorphic with a group generated by a finite number of recursive transformations) has been proved: Let p be any algebraic property for groups such that there is a FRT-group G_1 which has the property p, a FRT-group G_2 which has not the property p, and G_2 is not isomorphic with any subgroup of any FRT-group which has the property p. Then the problem of deoiding, for any given groap P genetated by a finite number of recursive transformations, whether or not the group G isomorphic with P has the property p is unsolvable.  相似文献

This paper deals with the problem of internal controllability of a system of heat equations posed on a bounded domain with Dirichlet boundary conditions and perturbed with analytic non-local coupling terms. Each component of the system may be controlled in a different subdomain. Assuming that the unperturbed system is controllable—a property that has been recently characterized in terms of a Kalman-like rank condition—the authors give a necessary and sufficient condition for the controllability of the coupled system under the form of a unique continuation property for the corresponding elliptic eigenvalue system.The proof relies on a compactness-uniqueness argument, which is quite unusual in the context of parabolic systems, previously developed for scalar parabolic equations. The general result is illustrated by two simple examples.  相似文献

The global supports of super-Poisson processes and super-random walks with a branching mechanism ψ(z)=z^2 and constant branching rate are known to be noncompact. It turns out that, for any spatially dependent branching rate, this property remains true. Let X be a metric space. We say that a continuous surjection f: X→X is a topological Anosov map (abbrev. TA-map) if f is expansive and has pseudo-orbit tracing property with respect to some compatible metric for X. We introduce the notions of implicative ideals and fuzzy implicative ideals of a distributive implication groupoid. Some properties of these ideals will be investigated. In particular, the necessary and sufficient conditions for an ideal (fuzzy ideal) to be an implicative ideal (fuzzy implicative ideal) is given. By using the concept of level sets, we will characterize the fuzzy implicative ideals of a distributive implication groupoid.
