A periodic problem for the system of hyperbolic equations with finite time delay is investigated. The investigated problem is reduced to an equivalent problem, consisting the family of periodic problems for a system of ordinary differential equations with finite delay and integral equations using the method of a new functions introduction. Relationship of periodic problem for the system of hyperbolic equations with finite time delay and the family of periodic problems for the system of ordinary differential equations with finite delay is established. Algorithms for finding approximate solutions of the equivalent problem are constructed, and their convergence is proved. Criteria of well-posedness of periodic problem for the system of hyperbolic equations with finite time delay are obtained.  相似文献

We consider a family of two-point boundary-value problems for systems of ordinary differential equations with functional parameters. This family is the result of the reduction of a boundary-value problem with nonlocal condition for a system of second-order, quasilinear hyperbolic equations by the introduction of additional functions. Using the parametrization method, we establish necessary and sufficient conditions of the unique solvability of the family of two-point boundary-value problems for a linear system in terms of the initial data. Problems on large stretching, torsional and bending deformations of a naturally twisted rod, loaded with end forces and moments, are considered from the point of view of the non-linear three-dimensional theory of elasticity. Particular solutions of the equations of elastostatics are found, which are two-parameter families of finite deformations and which possess the property that, for these deformations, the initial system of three-dimensional non-linear equations reduces to a system of equations with two independent variables. The use of these equations enables one to reduce certain Saint-Venant problems for a naturally twisted rod to two-dimensional non-linear boundary-value problems for a planar domain in the form of the cross-section of a rod. Different formulations of the two-dimensional boundary-value problem for the cross-section are proposed, which differ in the choice of the unknown functions. A non-linear problem of the torsion and stretching of a circular cylinder with helical anisotropy, which is reduced to ordinary differential equations, is considered as a special case.  相似文献

We consider nonlocal boundary-value problem for a system of hyperbolic equations with two independent variables. We investigate questions of existence of unique classical solution to problem under consideration. In terms of initial data we propose criteria of unique solvability and suggest algorithms of finding of solutions to nonlocal boundary-value problem. As an application we give conditions of solvability of periodic boundary-value problem for a system of hyperbolic equations.  相似文献

We consider a nonlocal problem with integral conditions for a system of hyperbolic equations in rectangular domain. We investigate the questions of existence of unique classical solution to the problemunder consideration and approaches of its construction. Sufficient conditions of unique solvability to the investigated problem are established in the terms of initial data. The nonlocal problem with integral conditions is reduced to an equivalent problem consisting of the Goursat problem for the system of hyperbolic equations with functional parameters and functional relations. We propose algorithms for finding a solution to the equivalent problem with functional parameters on the characteristics and prove their convergence. We also obtain the conditions of unique solvability to the auxiliary boundary-value problem with an integral condition for the system of ordinary differential equations. As an example, we consider the nonlocal boundary-value problem with integral conditions for a two-dimensional system of hyperbolic equations.  相似文献

We study the problem of finding conditions for the existence of solutions of weakly nonlinear Noetherian boundary-value problems for systems of ordinary differential equations and the construction of these solutions. A new iterative procedure with accelerated convergence is proposed for the construction of solutions of a weakly nonlinear Noetherian boundary-value problem for a system of ordinary differential equations in the critical case. The paper considers the problem of finding a bounded solution of a one-parametric family of systems of ordinary differential equations. Using the parametrization method, the author proves necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a unique solution of the problem considered that is bounded on the whole axis in terms of a two-sided, infinite block-band matrix composed with respect to integrals over intervals of length h > 0 of the matrix of the system of differential equations. A system of two first-order quasilinear equations consisting of one nonhomogenous hyperbolic conservation law and an ordinary differential equation is investigated in two spatial dimensions. The initial boundary-value problem is solved for the system and existence, uniqueness, and stability theorems are proved. We also obtain a result on the behavior of the solution when time goes to infinity which agrees with practical experience. These results offer mathematical validation to computer models in current usage for the numerical simulation of multiphase flow in naturally fractured reservoirs.  相似文献

A computational method is presented to solve a class of nonturning-point singularly-perturbed two-point boundary-value problems for second-order ordinary differential equations with a small parameter multiplying the highest derivative, subject to Dirichlet-type boundary conditions. In this method, first we construct a zeroth order asymptotic expansion for the solution of the given boundary-value problem. Then, this problem is integrated to get an equivalent initial-value problem for first-order ordinary differential equations. This initial-value problem is solved by either a classical method or a fitted operator method after approximating some of the terms in the differential equations by using the zeroth order asymptotic expansion. This method is effective and easy to implement. An error estimate is derived for the numerical solution. Examples are given to illustrate the method.  相似文献

We investigate the problem of the determination of conditions for the existence of solutions of weakly nonlinear Noetherian boundary-value problems for systems of ordinary differential equations and the construction of these solutions. We consider the special critical case where the equation for finding the generating solution of a weakly nonlinear Noetherian boundary-value problem turns into an identity. We improve the classification of critical cases and construct an iterative algorithm for finding solutions of weakly nonlinear Noetherian boundary-value problems in the special critical case.  相似文献

An approach is proposed to solving linear boundary-value problems for shells of revolution that are closed in the circumferential direction, with complex boundary conditions in which the coefficients of the solving functions depend on the circumferential coordinate. The approach relies on reduction of the boundary-value problem to a number of boundary-value problems for systems of ordinary differential equations and systems of algebraic equations. The purpose of this paper is to report on the application of multipoint methods to the solution of two-point boundary-value problems with special reference to the continuation technique of Roberts and Shipman. The power of the multipoint approach to solve sensitive two-point boundary-value problems with linear and nonlinear ordinary differential equations is exhibited. Practical numerical experience with the method is given.Since employment of the multipoint method requires some judgment on the part of the user, several important questions are raised and resolved. These include the questions of how many multipoints to select, where to specify the multipoints in the interval, and how to assign initial values to the multipoints.Three sensitive numerical examples, which cannot be solved by conventional shooting methods, are solved by the multipoint method and continuation. The examples include (1) a system of two linear, ordinary differential equations with a boundary condition at infinity, (2) a system of five nonlinear ordinary differential equations, and (3) a system of four linear ordinary equations, which isstiff.The principal results are that multipoint methods applied to two-point boundary-value problems (a) permit continuation to be used over a larger interval than the two-point boundary-value technique, (b) permit continuation to be made with larger interval extensions, (c) converge in fewer iterations than the two-point boundary-value methods, and (d) solve problems that two-point boundary-value methods cannot solve.  相似文献

In this work, we give an introduction to the theory of nonlinear functional differential equations of pointwise type on a finite interval, semi-axis, or axis. This approach is based on the formalism using group peculiarities of such differential equations. For the main boundary-value problem and the Euler-Lagrange boundary-value problem, we consider the existence and uniqueness of the solution, the continuous dependence of the solution on boundary-value and initial-value conditions, and the “roughness” of functional differential equations in the considered boundary-value problems. For functional differential equations of pointwise type we also investigate the pointwise completeness of the space of solutions for given boundary-value conditions, give an estimate of the rank for the space of solutions, describe types of degeneration for the space of solutions, and establish conditions for the “smoothness” of the solution. We consider a spectral problem for a system of second order (in the spectral parameter) abstract pencils in a Hilbert space and prove the completeness and the Abel basis property of a system of eigenvectors and associated vectors. In some special cases, we obtain the expansion of vectors with respect to eigenvectors. Further, it is considered a relevant application of these abstract results to boundary-value problems for second and fourth order ordinary differential equations with a quadratic spectral parameter both in the equation and in boundary-value conditions.  相似文献

In this paper, the unique solvability of the Poincaré problem for multidimensional hyperbolic equation with the Chaplygin operator in the domain with a deviation from the characteristic is proved.
