In this paper we aim to present two general results regarding, on one hand, the openness stability of set-valued maps and, on the other hand, the metric regularity behavior of the implicit multifunction related to a generalized variational system. Then, these results are applied in order to obtain, in a natural way, and in a widely studied case, several relations between the metric regularity moduli of the field maps defining the variational system and the solution map. Our approach allows us to complete and extend several very recent results from the literature.  相似文献

The aim of this work is twofold. First, we use the advanced tools of modern variational analysis and generalized differentiation to study the Lipschitz-like property of an implicit multifunction. More explicitly, new sufficient conditions in terms of the Fréchet coderivative and the normal/Mordukhovich coderivative of parametric multifunctions for this implicit multifunction to have the Lipschitz-like property at a given point are established. Then we derive sufficient conditions ensuring the Lipschitz-like property of an efficient solution map in parametric vector optimization problems by employing the above implicit multifunction results.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce and consider the concept of the prox-regularity of a multifunction. We mainly study the metric subregularity of a generalized equation defined by a proximal closed multifunction between two Hilbert spaces. Using proximal analysis techniques, we provide sufficient and/or necessary conditions for such a generalized equation to have the metric subregularity in Hilbert spaces. We also establish the results of Robinson-Ursescu theorem type for prox-regular multifunctions.  相似文献

The paper is devoted to the study of the Clarke/circatangent coderivatives of the efficient point multifunction of parametric vector optimization problems in Banach spaces. We provide inner/outer estimates for evaluating the Clarke/circatangent coderivative of this multifunction in a broad class of conventional vector optimization problems in the presence of geometrical, operator and (finite and infinite) functional constraints. Examples are given for analyzing and illustrating the obtained results.  相似文献

We extend Robinson’s and Ledyaev and Zhu’s implicit multifunction theorems using the language of generalized derivatives with positively homogeneous maps, allowing us to obtain results that more closely resemble the classical (single-valued) implicit function theorem. We highlight that using linear openness instead of metric regularity gives simpler proofs and stronger results. As part of our analysis, we study perturbations of generalized linear openness and metric regularity. Finally, we discuss how our methods may also be adapted to study generalized calmness.  相似文献

In this paper, we suggest and analyze an inexact implicit method with a variable parameter for mixed variational inequalities by using a new inexactness restriction. Under certain conditions, the global convergence of the proposed method is proved. Some preliminary computational results are given to illustrate the efficiency of the new inexactness restriction. The results proved in this paper may be viewed as improvement and refinement of the previously known results.  相似文献

We prove a general implicit function theorem for multifunctions with a metric estimate on the implicit multifunction and a characterization of its coderivative. Traditional open covering theorems, stability results, and sufficient conditions for a multifunction to be metrically regular or pseudo-Lipschitzian can be deduced from this implicit function theorem. We prove this implicit multifunction theorem by reducing it to an implicit function/solvability theorem for functions. This approach can also be used to prove the Robinson–Ursescu open mapping theorem. As a tool for this alternative proof of the Robinson–Ursescu theorem, we also establish a refined version of the multidirectional mean value inequality which is of independent interest.  相似文献

We study implicit multifunctions (set-valued mappings) obtained from inclusions of the form 0∈M(p,x), whereM is a multifunction. Our basic implicit multifunction theorem provides an approximation for a generalized derivative of the implicit multifunction in terms of the derivative of the multifunctionM. Our primary focus is on three special cases of inclusions 0∈M(p,x) which represent different kinds of generalized variational inequalities, called “variational conditions”. Appropriate versions of our basic implicit multifunction theorem yield approximations for generalized derivatives of the solutions to each kind of variational condition. We characterize a well-known generalized Lipschitz property in terms of generalized derivatives, and use our implicit multifunction theorems to state sufficient conditions (and necessary in one case) for solutions of variational conditions to possess this Lipschitz, property. We apply our results to a general parameterized nonlinear programming problem, and derive a new second-order condition which guarantees that the stationary points associated with the Karush-Kuhn-Tucker conditions exhibit generalized Lipschitz continuity with respect to the parameter.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider systems of vector quasi-variational inclusions which include systems of vector quasi-equilibrium problems for multivalued maps, systems of vector optimization problems and several other systems as special cases. We establish existence results for solutions of these systems. As applications of our results, we derive the existence results for solutions of system vector optimization problems, mathematical programs with systems of vector variational inclusion constraints and bilevel problems. Another application of our results provides the common fixed point theorem for a family of lower semicontinuous multivalued maps. Further applications of our results for existence of solutions of systems of vector quasi-variational inclusions are given to prove the existence of solutions of systems of Minty type and Stampacchia type generalized implicit quasi-variational inequalities. The results of this paper can be seen as extensions and generalizations of several known results in the literature.  相似文献

In this paper, we establish some new characterizations of metric regularity of implicit multifunctions in complete metric spaces by using lower semicontinuous envelopes of the distance functions to set-valued mappings. In this paper, we introduce and consider a new class of variational inequalities, which are called the nonconvex variational inequalities. Using the projection technique, we suggest and analyze an extragradient method for solving the nonconvex variational inequalities. We show that the extragradient method is equivalent to an implicit iterative method, the convergence of which requires only pseudo-monotonicity, a weaker condition than monotonicity. This clearly improves on the previously known result. Our method of proof is very simple as compared with other techniques.  相似文献

In this paper we present an analysis of a numerical method for a degenerate partial differential equation, called the Black–Scholes equation, governing American and European option pricing. The method is based on a fitted finite volume spatial discretization and an implicit time stepping technique. The analysis is performed within the framework of the vertical method of lines, where the spatial discretization is formulated as a Petrov–Galerkin finite element method with each basis function of the trial space being determined by a set of two-point boundary value problems. We establish the stability and an error bound for the solutions of the fully discretized system. Numerical results are presented to validate the theoretical results.  相似文献
