On Certain Semiprime Associative Superalgebras

In this note we emphasise the relationship between the structure of an associative superalgebra with superinvolution and the structure of the Lie substructure of skewsymmetric elements. More explicitly, we show that if A is a semiprime associative superalgebra with superinvolution and K is the Lie superalgebra of skewsymmetric elements satisfying [K ², K ²] = 0, then A is a subdirect product of orders in simple superalgebras each at most 4-dimensional over its center.     

Regularity conditions on skew and symmetric elements in superalgebras with superinvolution

We study semiprime superalgebras with superinvolution, under certain additional regularity conditions. More precisely, we assume regularity conditions either on every nonzero homogeneous symmetric element, or on every nonzero homogeneous skewsymmetric element.     

Jordan Superhomomorphisms of Superalgebras

The aim of this article is to investigate Jordan superhomomorphisms of superalgebras (with and without superinvolution), using the theory of functional identities in superalgebras. As a consequence we slightly improve a result on Jordan homomorphisms of rings with involution.     

On structure and TKK algebras for Jordan superalgebras

We compare a number of different definitions of structure algebras and TKK constructions for Jordan (super)algebras appearing in the literature. We demonstrate that, for unital superalgebras, all the definitions of the structure algebra and the TKK constructions reduce to one of two cases. Moreover, one can be obtained as the Lie superalgebra of superderivations of the other. We also show that, for non-unital superalgebras, more definitions become nonequivalent. As an application, we obtain the corresponding Lie superalgebras for all simple finite dimensional Jordan superalgebras over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero.     

Alternative Superalgebras with DCC on Two-Sided Ideals#

We study the structure of alternative superalgebras that satisfy the descending chain condition (DCC) for two-sided ideals. The main results state that the Baer radical in an alternative superalgebra of characteristic ≠ 2, 3 with DCC on two-sided ideals is solvable and every such a semiprime superalgebra (of arbitrary characteristic) is isomorphic to a subdirect sum of an associative superalgebra with this property and a finite direct sum of simple alternative non-associative superalgebras.     

On multiplicities of cocharacters for algebras with superinvolution

In this paper we deal with finitely generated superalgebras with superinvolution, satisfying a non-trivial identity, whose multiplicities of the cocharacters are bounded by a constant. Along the way, we prove that the codimension sequence of such algebras is polynomially bounded if and only if their colength sequence is bounded by a constant.

We classify up to equivalence the gradings on Hurwitz superalgebras and on symmetric composition superalgebras, over any field. Also, classifications up to isomorphism are given in case the field is algebraically closed. By grading, here we mean group grading.

Superderivation Algebras of Modular Lie Superalgebras of (O)-Type

The authors consider a family of finite-dimensional Lie superalgebras of O-type over an algebraically closed field of characteristic p > 3. It is proved that the Lie superalgebras of O-type are simple and the spanning sets are determined. Then the spanning sets are employed to characterize the superderivation algebras of these Lie superalgebras. Finally, the associative forms are discussed and a comparison is made between these Lie superalgebras and other simple Lie superalgebras of Cartan type.

Structure of some Unital Simple Jordan Superalgebras with Associative Even Part

Studying the unital simple Jordan superalgebras with associative even part, we describe the unital simple Jordan superalgebras such that every pair of even elements induces the zero derivation and every pair of two odd elements induces the zero derivation of the even part. We show that such a superalgebra is either a superalgebra of nondegenerate bilinear form over a field or a four-dimensional simple Jordan superalgebra.

Singularities of the structure of two-sided ideals of a domain of elementary divisors

We prove that, in a domain of elementary divisors, the intersection of all nontrivial two-sided ideals is equal to zero. We also show that a Bézout domain with finitely many two-sided ideals is a domain of elementary divisors if and only if it is a 2-simple Bézout domain.     

SOME RESULTS OF MODULAR LIE SUPERALGEBRAS

In the present article, the authors give some properties on subinvariant subalgebras of modular Lie superalgebras and obtain the derivation tower theorem of modular Lie superalgebras, which is analogous to the automorphism tower theorem of finite groups. Moreover, they announce and prove some results of modular complete Lie superalgebras.     

Functional Identities and Lie Superhomomorphisms on Prime Superalgebras

We first establish the theory of functional identities on prime superalgebras and then apply it to the study of Lie superhomomorphisms onto prime superalgebras.     

ON SECONDARY MODULES OVER PULLBACK RINGS

Abstract

In this paper we describe the derivations of orthosymplectic Lie superalgebras over a superring. In particular, we derive sufficient conditions under which the derivations can be expressed as a semidirect product of inner and outer derivations. We then present some examples for which these conditions hold.
